DOOR KNOB SCREW ALIGNMENT SLEEVE
A flexible compressible screw guide sleeve that facilitates door knob installations.
EXPANSION ADJUSTING DUAL ACTION DOOR LATCH ASSEMBLY
A dual action latch, having a latch handle, an elongate bolt, a cam, a latch housing, and a biasing device, for installation on one side of door. The latch handle includes a lifting portion and a lever arm. The latch housing has a lever arm aperture through which the lever arm of the latch handle passes and a bolt guide for slidably receiving the elongate bolt. The latch handle is movably attached to the latch housing. With the latch handle moved, the lever arm withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing. Independently, when the cam is rotated by a separate handle on the other side the door, the cam plate likewise withdraws the elongate bolt into the latch housing.
Chassis retention assembly
A retention bracket configured for use with a latch mechanism including a laterally extending housing. The retention bracket includes a first wall, a second wall, a collar, and a deformable section. The first and second walls are longitudinally offset from one another and are structured to receive the housing therebetween. The collar extends longitudinally outward from one of the walls and defines an opening having an effective diameter. The deformable section has a natural state in which the effective diameter is a first diameter, and a deformed state in which the effective diameter is a second diameter greater than the first diameter.
Electronic cam lock for cabinet doors, drawers and other applications
A cam lock for cabinets, drawers, drug cabinets, credenzas, sliding doors, lockers, mail boxes and other door type applications is compact in size, fits an existing cam lock opening and provides electronic access via a keypad or other electronic access. Using batteries, such as AAA size batteries or smaller, the lock has electronics that release a lock turn knob or handle when the correct code is entered. Preferably a set of electronic contacts is included at an accessible position on the lock housing to allow both master access and power jumping with a common manager's implement, for situations of lost codes and/or battery failure. In a particular embodiment the lock is long, narrow and low in profile so as to fit on the margin of a steel or wood file cabinet, compatible with the cam lock opening already provided. The locks, NFC-enabled, can be used in securing delivery boxes to enable delivery access, when authorized.
ADJUSTABLE BUTTON MECHANISM
A button assembly for a door lock may include a button and a shank. The button may be toollessly couplable to the shank to allow force transmission between the button and the shank. The button may transfer linear force and torque along a longitudinal axis of the button to the shank to allow a state of an associated lock body to be changed.

Door knob screw alignment sleeve
A flexible compressible screw guide sleeve that facilitates door knob installations.
Adjustment plate gauge insert and adapter for hands-free lock installation
A door lock chassis has a gauge insert that defines different dimensions corresponding to different door thicknesses. The gauge insert is positionable in the lock chassis in different orientations corresponding to the different dimensions used to align the lock chassis for different door thicknesses. Additionally, a door lock may include an anti-rotation assembly for preventing rotation of the lock chassis. The anti-rotation assembly may include a retention member that is secured to an inside hub of a lock chassis. As an anti-rotation member is displaced in a first axial direction along the inside hub to a mount position, the anti-rotational member may deflect resilient members of the retention member. With the anti-rotation member at the mounted position, the anti-rotation member may be in a frictional engagement with the previously deflected resilient members so that anti-rotation member is retained at the mount position.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR LATCHING OBJECTS
In one embodiment, a system includes a first object, a second object, and a latch. The latch includes a worm gear, a spur gear, and a lever arm. The spur gear rotates in response to rotating the worm gear. The lever arm rotates in response to rotating the spur gear. The first object latches to the second object in response to rotating the lever arm.
Push-pull passage lock mounting device adapted to doors in various sizes
A push-pull passage lock mounting device is provided for use with doors of various thicknesses. The device, which comprises a first mounting plate, a second mounting plate, adjusting inserts, a central actuator block, a first threaded stud connected with the first mounting plate, a second threaded stud connected with the second mounting plate. The adjusting inserts are sleeved on the first threaded stud or the second threaded stud. The distance between the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate can be adjusted via the inserts so as to adapt to doors with various thicknesses.
