INDICATOR LEVER
20200109578 · 2020-04-09 ·

A status indicating handle assembly generally includes a handle, an activation carrier mounted in the handle, and a status indicator mounted in the handle and engaged with the activation carrier. The handle includes a shank extending along a longitudinal axis and a grip portion extending laterally from the shank. The activation carrier is mounted in the shank, and has an unlocking position and a locking position. The status indicator has a first state in which a first indicium is displayed and a second state in which the first indicium is not displayed. The activation carrier transitions the status indicator between the first state and the second state as the activation carrier moves between the locking position and the unlocking position.

Handle assembly for a door or window having a defined thickness, and a method for installing such handle assembly
11933070 · 2024-03-19 ·

A handle assembly for a door or window comprises a handle and a second element, installable on opposite sides of the door or window, and a pin element rotatable around a pin rotation axis and insertable into the handle or in the second element at variable depths. The handle assembly further comprises a friction reducing group positioned coaxially to the pin element and positionable between the handle and the door or window in the axial direction of the pin rotation axis. Clamping devices constrain the handle and/or the second element on the pin element at adjustable distances along the axial direction according to the thickness of the door or window, so that when the handle assembly is installed on the door or window, an axial clamping pressure of the handle and of the second element is maintained on the respective side of the door or window. An installation method of the handle assembly on the door or window is also provided.

A flexible compressible screw guide sleeve that facilitates door knob installations.

Handle assembly for opening leaves of the window or door type

A handle assembly, including at least: a first handle including at least one recess and a square spindle configured to be received at least partially within the recess of the first handle, in an initial configuration, the first handle is configured to slide freely along the longitudinal axis of the square spindle over a given distance, the first handle is configured to pass from the initial position to a securing configuration in which the first handle is immobilized in translation and in at least one direction of rotation with respect to the square spindle, by at least one displacement in rotation of the first handle about the longitudinal axis of the square spindle through an angle strictly less than 360.

Modular cylindrical lockset

An exemplary product line system includes a common platform and a plurality of component families, each of which includes a plurality of interchangeable component species configured for use with the common platform. The common platform includes an inside drive assembly and a chassis assembly including a chassis and an outside drive assembly. A lockset assembled from the system includes the common platform and a plurality of modular components. Each of the modular components corresponds to a respective one of the component families, and is provided as a selected species of the corresponding component family. The lockset has a function defined by the set of component species installed to the lockset. The function of the lockset can be changed by altering the set of component species installed to the lockset without disassembling the chassis assembly.

Chassis retention assembly
11920388 · 2024-03-05 · ·

A retention bracket configured for use with a latch mechanism including a laterally extending housing. The retention bracket includes a first wall, a second wall, a collar, and a deformable section. The first and second walls are longitudinally offset from one another and are structured to receive the housing therebetween. The collar extends longitudinally outward from one of the walls and defines an opening having an effective diameter. The deformable section has a natural state in which the effective diameter is a first diameter, and a deformed state in which the effective diameter is a second diameter greater than the first diameter.

Wafer-tumbler cam locks for cabinets
11959316 · 2024-04-16 · ·

A cam lock for cabinets adaptable to cabinet drawers and doors of various thicknesses is disclosed. The cam lock includes a cam, a plug, an adapter, and a cylinder housing. The plug has a keyway and tumblers in communication with the keyway. The adapter is configured to couple to the cam and the plug. The cylinder housing is configured to receive the plug and the adapter. The retainer clip is configured to extend through the cylinder housing into registry with the plug after the plug and adapter are inserted into the cylinder to thereby retain both the plug and the adapter in the cylinder housing, whereby installation of the cam lock in the cabinet is simplified.

Modular locking device

A mortise lockset adaptor that houses mortise locksets, which provides an alternative method to attaching mortise locksets onto doors with thickness that exceed the lockset's door thickness capacity. Without this invention it would be virtually impossible to install deadlock configured mortise locks to doors with thicknesses that exceed the maximum allowable door thicknesses specified by the lock manufacturers. The removable lock service assembly offers quick lock interchange to address service needs in extremely busy operational environments.

ADJUSTMENT PLATE GAUGE INSERT AND ADAPTER FOR HANDS-FREE LOCK INSTALLATION

A door lock chassis has a gauge insert that defines different dimensions corresponding to different door thicknesses. The gauge insert is positionable in the lock chassis in different orientations corresponding to the different dimensions used to align the lock chassis for different door thicknesses. Additionally, a door lock may include an anti-rotation assembly for preventing rotation of the lock chassis. The anti-rotation assembly may include a retention member that is secured to an inside hub of a lock chassis. As an anti-rotation member is displaced in a first axial direction along the inside hub to a mount position, the anti-rotational member may deflect resilient members of the retention member. With the anti-rotation member at the mounted position, the anti-rotation member may be in a frictional engagement with the previously deflected resilient members so that anti-rotation member is retained at the mount position.

HANDLE WITH FLOOR AND/OR CEILING LOCK
20190211584 · 2019-07-11 ·

Described is a handle (10) with floor and/or ceiling lock which comprises: a first part (11) and a second part (12) one having an internal cavity (14); a connecting element (15) having two opposite ends (151, 152) to each of which can be fixed one of the parts (11, 12); a closing/opening device (17) comprising a knob element (18), a latch element (19) and a transmission mechanism (20) which connects them.

The second part (12) has a housing seat (22) for a Mortise cylinder unit (100) which has a lever (101) which is rotatable with respect to tan actuation axis (A).

The transmission mechanism (20) comprises a crank element (23) configured in such a way as to transform a rotation of the knob element (23) into a translation of the latch element (19) with respect to the cavity (14).

The crank element (23) faces in the housing seat (22) in such a way that a protrusion (231) of the crank element (23) interferes with a trajectory of rotation of the lever (101) of the Mortise cylinder unit (100) for operating the latch element (19).
