Magnetic latch for fastening a hinged closure member to a support
20220178182 · 2022-06-09 · ·

A magnetic latch for fastening a closure member to a support. The magnetic latch comprises a latch bolt assembly comprising: a first elongated housing configured to be mounted with its rear side facing either the closure member or the support; a second housing connected to and positioned underneath the first housing, the second housing being rotatable with respect to the first housing around the vertical direction between a first rotational position in which the latch bolt assembly is operable for a right-handed closure member and a second rotational position in which the latch bolt assembly is operable for a left-handed closure member; and a latch bolt mounted in the second housing. The different rotational positions of the second housing allow using a horizontally moveable latch bolt while retaining a symmetrical placement on the closure system irrespective of the handedness of the closure member.

LOCKING MECHANISM FOR AT LEAST ONE MOVABLE ELEMENT SITUATED IN A FIRST ZONE AND COMPRISING A COMPONENT THAT CAN BE ADJUSTED FROM A SECOND ZONE, AND AIRCRAFT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE SUCH LOCKING MECHANISM

A locking mechanism situated in an inner zone and comprising at least one component that is adjustable in a longitudinal direction and that is linked to a support by a link having a rod secured to the adjustable component. The link includes a guideway link, linking the rod and the support, and an adjustment system. The adjustment system comprises a pivoting control pivoting on itself and having a first end accessible from an outer zone, an intermediate piece configured to pivot on itself, an angle transmission converting a pivoting movement of the pivoting control into a pivoting movement of the intermediate piece, and a helical link converting a pivoting movement of the intermediate piece into a translational movement of the rod. The locking mechanism allows for adjustment from the outer zone. An aircraft comprising at least one such locking mechanism is also provided.

A device for closing and opening doors and/or hatches and/or similar components, in particular of household appliances such as washing machines, in particular with top loading, dishwashers and similar household appliances, said device comprising a closing and opening assembly adapted to be fixed to one of a fixed part and the hatch of a household appliance and including a closing and opening element which is adapted to be switched by translation between a first end-stop position and a second end-stop position and vice versa; wherein said device comprises a permission element which is adapted to be switched by translation between a first end-stop own position thereof and a second end-stop own position thereof and vice versa, and wherein said permission element, during the translation thereof from said first end-stop own position thereof to said second end-stop own position thereof, is adapted to be locked in a third intermediate own position thereof between said first and second end-stop own positions thereof.

Magnetic latch for fastening a hinged closure member to a support
20220145663 · 2022-05-12 · ·

A magnetic latch for fastening a closure member to a support. The magnetic latch comprises a keeper assembly including a magnet and a latch bolt assembly having: an elongated frame (32); a latch bolt (14) moveable between a latching position and a retracted position; a latch bolt biasing member urging the latch bolt into its retracted position; and a latch bolt operating mechanism configured to move the latch bolt from its latching position to its retracted position against a magnetic attraction. The latch bolt operating mechanism comprises: an effort link rod (37); a load link rod (34); and a second-order lever (35) interposed between the effort link rod and the load link rod. The second-order lever reduces the force required to operate the latch bolt operating mechanism thus allowing for an increased magnetic attraction of the latch bolt towards the magnet in the keeper assembly.
