SMART HATCH ACTUATION AND LOCKING SYSTEMS FOR HATCHES WINDOWS AND DOORS
The inventive subject matter of this application is directed to system and methods that bring about the opening and closing of hatches, doors, windows, or other hinged openings. Embodiments of the inventive subject matter feature one or more levers that are coupled with a motor or linear actuator. Upon activating a motor or linear actuator, a lever coupled thereto (e.g., by a linkage) rotates, taking the system from a locked configuration to an unlocked configurations. In some embodiments, continued actuation brings the system from a closed configuration to an open configuration.
SMART HATCH AUTONOMOUS ACTUATION SYSTEMS FOR HATCHES WINDOWS AND DOORS
Systems and methods described in this application are directed to hatch lid actuation systems. Actuation systems of the inventive subject matter are configured to effect the opening and closing of lids that are hingedly coupled with an opening. An embodiment featuring a rotational actuator, e.g., a motor, as well as an embodiment featuring a linear actuator are described. Embodiments having rotational actuators can additionally feature a gearbox. Embodiments of the inventive subject matter can also include sensor packages that can determine various hatch lid conditions (e.g., whether a lid is open, closed, wet, etc.).
Door-Lock Device for Household Appliance, In Particular Dishwashers
A door-lock device for appliances, in particular for dishwashers, is provided. The door-lock device includes a support, and a lock wheel rotationally carried by said-the support around an axis of rotation. The lock wheel comprises includes a hub and a plurality of locking arms that radially protruding protrude from said the hub. The hub comprises may include a plurality of retention surfaces, and at least one retention element. The at least one retention element may be elastically pressed into contact with the hub to hold the lock wheel in a plurality of locking positions.
AUTOMATIC WINDOW SASH INTERLOCK
A window sash interlock includes a housing configured to mount to a side rail of a window sash. The housing includes a front face that substantially aligns with a surface of the side rail. A locking member is pivotably coupled to the housing about a pivot axis. The locking member is disposed at least partially within the housing and is movable between at least a locked position and an unlocked position. The locking member is biased so as to automatically return to the unlocked position, and in the unlocked position, the locking member at least partially extends from the front face of the housing.
FASTENING STRUCTURE
A fastening structure includes a first casing, an ejection mechanism, a second casing, and a switch mechanism disposed at the second casing. The first casing has a slot where the ejection mechanism is disposed in. The switch mechanism includes a switch component pivotally connected to the second casing along a first axis, a first spring connected to the second casing and switch component, and a hook pivotally connected to the switch component along a second axis. When the hook rotates towards the first casing around the second axis, the hook drives the switch component to move to stretch the first spring, so the hook is engaged with the slot and presses against the ejection mechanism. When the switch component rotates with respect to the second casing, the switch component drives the hook to be separated from the slot, and the ejection mechanism pushes the hook out of the first casing.
SEALED STOWAGE COMPARTMENT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING SUCH A STOWAGE COMPARTMENT
A stowage compartment for a motor vehicle, wherein the stowage compartment is designed to be arranged underneath a hood element of the motor vehicle, wherein the hood element forms a part of the outer skin of the motor vehicle, wherein the stowage compartment includes: a trough-like container; a cover connectable or connected to the container, wherein the cover is movable relative to the container around a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position, a hinge device, which enables the pivot movement of the cover relative to the container it is provided here that the hinge device is designed in such a way that the cover is automatically held in an arbitrary open position from a minimum opening angle (Wmin) and up to a maximum opening angle (Wmax), and in that the cover automatically moves into a closed position because of gravity below the minimum opening angle (Wmin).
AUTOMATIC ANALYSIS DEVICE
An automated analysis device is provided with a casing accommodating an analysis device. A cover is axially supported with freedom to pivot, between a closed position and an upwardly-open open position, about a support shaft provided at one side of the casing. A closing device is capable of inhibiting opening of the cover in the closed position, and is provided with a lock accepting means, which is a projecting portion that protrudes from a front surface of the cover toward the rear, a lock lever which is axially supported with freedom to pivot about a pivoting support shaft, and which pivots from the work surface in a direction approaching the lock accepting means to engage with the lock accepting means, thereby inhibiting opening of the cover, and a driving means for driving the lock lever. A safety cover can thus be locked securely.
Fireplace latch system
A fireplace latch system has a pivotable latch retained within a latch retainer. One or more springs between the pivotable latch and latch retainer bias the latch towards two stable positions, an opened position and a closed position. In the closed position, one or more surface contacting elements extend through the latch retainer and exert a force on a frame for a glass panel to secure the glass panel and frame to the fireplace. The latch system allows the glass panel and frame to move outwards to release pressure in the event of an explosion within the combustion chamber of the fireplace.
Storage assembly with a drawer having a drawer pull assembly and a method for locking a drawer
A storage assembly 10 having a drawer 12 and a drawer pull assembly 14 including a door handle 16 which allows the drawer 12 to selectively locked and unlocked as the drawer handle 16 is selectively pivoted about the drawer 12, and a method for locking and unlocking a drawer 12 by the selective articulation or pivoting of the drawer handle 16.
