Sealed stowage compartment for a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle having such a stowage compartment
A stowage compartment for a motor vehicle, wherein the stowage compartment is designed to be arranged underneath a hood element of the motor vehicle, wherein the hood element forms a part of the outer skin of the motor vehicle, wherein the stowage compartment includes: a trough-like container; a cover connectable or connected to the container, wherein the cover is movable relative to the container around a pivot axis between a closed position and an open position, a hinge device, which enables the pivot movement of the cover relative to the container it is provided here that the hinge device is designed in such a way that the cover is automatically held in an arbitrary open position from a minimum opening angle (Wmin) and up to a maximum opening angle (Wmax), and in that the cover automatically moves into a closed position because of gravity below the minimum opening angle (Wmin).
Lock and Lid Lock
A lock and lid lock for an appliance are provided. The lock has a base supporting a driving mechanism, a sliding mechanism, a connecting mechanism and a locking mechanism. The driving mechanism includes a driving unit that drives rotation of a screw rod. A sliding block is connected to a gear that is engaged with the screw rod and drives the sliding block to move linearly back and forth with the rotation of the screw rod. One end of the connecting mechanism is connected to the sliding block and the other end is connected to the locking mechanism. This allows linear movement of the sliding block to be converted into rotational movement of the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is rotatably connected to the base and may include a locking portion which is configured to unfold or retract relative to the base along with the rotation of the locking mechanism.
Hook for opening and closing console box
A hook device for opening and closing a console box with a console lid includes a hook body, a hinge shaft formed in the hook body and adapted to engage a lower front of the console lid, a knob protruding from the hook body in one direction at a center front where the hinge shaft is formed at the upper part, and a latch protrusion formed at a lower part of the hook body and protruding in a direction opposite to the one direction in which the latch protrusion is arranged to engage with and release from a latch formed at a front end of an upper surface of the console body. The hinge shaft protrudes to left and right sides at an upper part of the hook body.
Door latch and a dishwasher mounted with the door latch
A door latch and a dishwasher fitted with a door latch are described. The door latch has a body, a pawl provided with a rotating shaft, a first gap being provided between two ends of the rotating shaft, and a mounting slot being provided in one side of the pawl, a first pin mounted on the pawl, the first pin being mounted in the mounting slot in the pawl, a spring having two ends which are connected to the body and the pawl, respectively, a first end of the spring being connected to the first pin through the first gap. During installation of the door latch, assembly of the door latch is quick and easy because the first pin is put into the pin mounting slot in the pawl from the top side of the pin mounting slot, and repair with changing of components is also easy.
Animal crate assembly
A crate assembly includes a plurality of members defining an interior of the crate assembly, where the plurality of members includes a front, a back, a top, a bottom, a first side and a second side. A frame is formed in one of the plurality of members, the frame having a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires that define a door opening. A door is pivotally coupled to the frame about a pivot wire of the frame to move between an open position and a closed position. A latch assembly is pivotally coupled to a horizontal wire of the frame. The latch assembly includes a wire having a first end, a second end and a transverse portion, the wire forming a first portion defined between the first end and the transverse portion and a second portion defined between the second end and the transverse portion.
AUTO-RACK RAILROAD CAR DOOR LOCKING ASSEMBLY SPLICE
In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides an door locking assembly splice including an extension tube having opposing top and bottom ends, a lock rod connection assembly connected to the top end of the extension tube, a handle connection assembly connected to the extension tube between the top end and the bottom end of the extension tube, and a cam assembly connected to the bottom end of the extension tube, that enables a damaged door rod locking assembly to be easily, quickly, and efficiently repaired.
LATCH HAVING SHEAR LOAD CARRYING CAPABILITY
A latch arrangement may comprise a latch bolt configured to rotate about a pivot, and a shear pin coupled to the latch bolt. A counterbore may receive the shear pin whereby lateral loads may be transferred between a door panel and a frame.
STORAGE ASSEMBLY WITH A DRAWER HAVING A DRAWER PULL ASSEMBLY AND A METHOD FOR LOCKING A DRAWER
A storage assembly 10 having a drawer 12 and a drawer pull assembly 14 including a door handle 16 which allows the drawer 12 to selectively locked and unlocked as the drawer handle 16 is selectively pivoted about the drawer 12, and a method for locking and unlocking a drawer 12 by the selective articulation or pivoting of the drawer handle 16.
Window Lock
According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an improved window lock includes a base hinge, a lever lock, and a base hook. The base hinge includes an adhesive material that allows mounting of the base hinge to either the window being locked or a frame that moves with the window being locked. The lever lock moves with respect to the base hinge with the interface between the two being respective hinge portions. The base hook includes an adhesive material that allows a mounting of base hook to a frame at a particular desired location for locking the window.
