Inboard-Mounted Safety Latch Mechanism for Preventing a Walkway Platform Flip Door From Being Raised Without a Guardrail Installed
In an example, a system is described. The system includes a guardrail having a post, and the post having a post dog. The system also includes a latch eye configured to be coupled to a flip door. The system also comprises a safety latch mechanism configured to be coupled to a fixed structure and including a body, a socket configured to receive the post, and a door latch rotatably coupled to the body and biased in a latched position that is configured to engage with the latch eye and thereby retain the flip door in a lowered position. Based on the post being inserted into the socket of the safety latch mechanism, the post dog engages with and rotates the door latch from the latched position to an unlatched position, thereby allowing the flip door to be raised from the lowered position to a raised position.
Hook Assembly for Door Curtain of Vehicle
An embodiment hook assembly for a door curtain to be installed on a door panel of a vehicle, the hook assembly includes a hook body installed to penetrate a through hole formed in the door panel, and a hook pin having an upper end hinge-connected to an upper portion of the hook body, wherein in a state in which an upper portion of the hook pin is completely inserted into the hook body, a part of the hook body is in an opened state and the hook body is locked to a circumference of the through hole such that the hook body is fastened to the through hole.

RETROFIT TAILGATE LATCHING MECHANISM AND METHOD
A retrofit tailgate latching mechanism and method for a tailgate. This includes a retrofit housing configured to be connected to the tailgate. Also, there is an actuating handle joined with the retrofit housing. A linkage assembly is joined with the actuating handle at a proximal end of the linkage assembly and extending through and within the tailgate toward the stop catch of the truck bed sidewall. The linkage assembly selectively engages and disengages the stop catch of the truck bed sidewall at a distal end of the linkage assembly. A cable is connected between the proximal end and the distal end of the linkage assembly wherein actuation of the actuating handle to an open position pulls the distal end of the linkage assembly toward the actuating handle and disengages the linkage assembly distal end from the stop catch whereby the tailgate can pivot to a lowered position.

Latch assembly
A latch assembly having a latch buckle and a latch tongue. The latch buckle includes: a buckle housing; a first lateral aperture disposed along a first side of the buckle housing; a second lateral aperture disposed along a second side of the buckle housing; a pair of h-shaped levers, each pivotally coupled to an interior of the buckle housing; a spring ring disposed between the pair of h-shaped levers; a pair of springs, each spring being coupled to an interior of the buckle housing and an h-shaped lever; and a buckle aperture disposed along a top of the buckle housing and between the pair of h-shaped levers. The latch tongue includes: a tongue plate; a plate spacer, coupled to the tongue plate; and a latch flange, coupled to the plate spacer, configured to be received by the buckle aperture. The latch tongue is selectably coupled to the latch base.
Locking structure
A locking structure, for fastening together a first case and a second case, includes: a fastening portion disposed on the first case, a hook portion movable between a locking position and a release position, and a tension spring with one end disposed at the second case and the other end disposed at the hook portion. When the hook portion moves to the locking position under an applied force, the hook portion becomes fastened to the fastening portion. After the hook portion has separated from the fastening portion under an applied force, the tension spring exerts a restoring force under which the hook portion returns to the release position. After the hook portion has separated from the fastening portion under the applied force, the tension spring pulls the hook portion back to the release position without a user's manipulation.
Quick release grill guard and associated systems and methods
The disclosed apparatus, systems and methods relate to a quick release grill guard further comprising at least one latching system configured for the quick release and pivot of the grill guard away from the vehicle grill face. The quick release grill guard may comprises a vehicle coupling portion, a clasped member an elongate bar and a clasping member. The clasping member may be constructed and arranged to be releasably engaged with the clasped member. Further, actuation of the elongate bar may cause the clasping member and clasped member to disengage.

Refrigerator
Provided is a refrigerator having only a second door opened/closed or having both of a first door and a second door opened/closed using one handing by allowing a latch device to fix the second door to the first door or release the second door from being fixed to the first door. The refrigerator includes a main body having a storage compartment, a first door that is rotatably disposed in front of the main body and has an opening formed therein, a second door that is rotatably disposed in front of the first door to open/close the opening, a handle coupled to a front side of the second door to open/close the first door and the second door, and a latch device allowing the second door to be fixed and released to/from the first door.
