KEY OVERRIDE FOR ELECTROMECHANICAL MULTI-POINT LATCHING DEVICE
A multi-point latching device may include a mortise lock and one or more remote latches which are operable with a handle. The mortise lock may include a handle lock which selectively locks and unlocks the handle is independently controllable by an actuator and by a lock cylinder. The lock cylinder may be used to unlock the handle during power failure events where the mortise lock is put into a fail secure state, such that the mortise lock maintains normal functionality as a manual device.
LOCK ASSEMBLY
A lock assembly comprising: one or more racks, each rack being configured to move along a linear axis between a respective extended position and a respective retracted position; and a drive hub coupled to the one or more racks; wherein the drive hub is configured such that, in an extended position of the one or more racks, the drive hub resists a linear force applied to a rack of the one or more racks from moving the rack towards the retracted position. A lock assembly comprising: one or more racks, each rack being configured to move along a linear axis between a respective extended position and a respective retracted position; and a drive hub having one or more engagement means, each engagement means configured to engage with the one or more racks; wherein in an extended position of the rack, at least one of the one or more engagement means is at an angle of less than 45 from the linear axis.
Door-locking system
A door-locking mechanism is for locking a door of a cabinet with respect to a main body of the cabinet. The door-locking mechanism includes a supporting component being operatively mountable onto the door, a driving component being operatively moveable with respect to the supporting component between at least first and second configurations, and at least one transmission component being operatively moveable with respect to the supporting component between drawn-in and drawn-out configurations. The door-locking mechanism also includes at least one locking rod being operatively connectable to the at least one transmission component and being movable between disengaged and engaged configurations with respect to a corresponding catch-rod of the cabinet, in response to the at least one transmission component being operated between the drawn-in and drawn-out configurations respectively, via an operation of the driving component from the first to the second configuration.
REMOVABLY SECURED STORAGE BIN FOR SPECIALIZED VEHICLE HARDWARE
A specialized hardware storage system for a vehicle having one or more selectively removable components includes a storage bin and a lid defining a storage compartment, the storage bin configured to couple to the vehicle. An insert is selectively removable from the storage compartment and configured to receive and hold specialized vehicle hardware. A user is able to open the lid to access the storage compartment and subsequently remove the insert, thereby enabling the user to move the insert to a different location of the vehicle to add or remove the specialized vehicle hardware thereto or therefrom.
VEHICLE FORWARD SENSOR MODULE HOUSING AND COVER
A vehicle with sensor enabled features includes a vehicle frame, a windshield movable between a lowered position and a raised position where the windshield is coupled to the vehicle frame, and a forward sensor assembly coupled to the vehicle frame and including a sensor module disposed within a protective housing assembly. The protective housing assembly defines an open end and includes a front cover configured to removably couple to the protective housing assembly to selectively cover the open end. When the windshield is in the raised position, the windshield covers the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module. When the windshield is in the lowered position, the front cover is configured to cover the open end to facilitate protecting the sensor module.
VEHICLE WITH INTEGRATED PORTABLE WIRELESS SPEAKER SYSTEM
A vehicle with an integrated portable audio system includes an interior body defining an interior passenger compartment and a docking station having a back wall, an upper wall, a lower wall, and side walls that define a receiving compartment. A wireless speaker is removably dockable with the docking station. When docked with the docking station, the wireless speaker is configured to connect to an audio system of the vehicle. When removed from the docking station, the wireless speaker is portable and configured to connect to a peripheral device for playing audio media on the wireless speaker.
VEHICLE REAR SEAT SECURED STORAGE SYSTEMS
A vehicle with a rear seat storage arrangement includes a floor, a seat including a seat bottom rotatably coupled to a seat back, and an underseat storage system removably coupled to the floor below the seat bottom. The underseat storage system includes a storage bin and a lockable lid defining a storage compartment. The lockable lid includes a latch configured to selectively lock to prevent access to the storage compartment and facilitate preventing access for removably uncoupling the underseat storage system from the floor.
Lock device
A lock device for holding an openable and closable member in a closed state. The lock device includes a base member, an operation member, a rod, and a cylinder lock. The cylinder lock has a protruding portion biased to protrude radially outwards to be engaged with an engaging portion formed on a rear side of a cylinder accommodating portion. The rod has a distal end portion configured to move out of a through hole formed in the openable and closable member to be engaged with a locking portion on a fixed member over a predetermined length with the openable and closable member left in a locked state, and a pushing portion enables a release of an engagement with the engaging portion when the rod moves in a receding direction to abut with the protruding portion, causing the protruding portion to recede against a biasing force.
Multifunction Securing Mechanism for Door
A multifunction securing mechanism for a compartment closable by a door and includes a key cylinder, a latching assembly which may be a two-point latching assembly movable between a latching and an unlatching position, a rotatable member configured for a lazy-cam function connecting the key cylinder and latching assembly, at least one catch located on a surface adjacent the outside of the door, and a bar pivotally mounted to the outside of the door and movable between a first closed position and a second opened position. A first release mechanism is located on an interior side of the door for changing a positon of the latching assembly, and a second release mechanism is located on the interior side of the door for changing a position of the bar, both for allowing a user to open a latched and secured door from the inside.
LOCK ASSEMBLY
A lock assembly comprising: a cradle configured to support at least part of a lock cylinder; a lock body configured to retain the cradle at least partly inside a space provided in the lock body; and a first fastener for fastening the lock cylinder to the cradle. A method for installing a lock assembly in a door or window comprising: attaching a lock cylinder to a cradle using a first fastener; and attaching the cradle to a lock body. A lock assembly comprising: a lock body having a longitudinal axis; a first bolt provided at least in part inside the lock body and configured to move substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis and between a first retracted position and a first extended position; an actuator configured to move the first bolt between the first retracted position and the first extended position; and a locking bar configured in an unlocked position to allow the first bolt to move to or from the first extended position and in a locked position to engage with the first bolt preventing the first bolt from moving from the first extended position.
