A door latch locking guard 30 for maintaining a door locked, with the door latch having a latch arm 12 and a swinging arm 14 for engaging the latch arm to lock the door. The protective locking guard 30 has a plate 32 attached to a locking housing 34, with the locking housing 34 having an internal passageway 36 for receiving therethrough the swinging arm 14 of the door latch. The plate 32 has a notch 38 for placing over and engaging the latch arm 12 of the door latch. A locking pin 40 is also provided for inserting through openings in the locking housing 34, and through the swinging arm 14 when it is inside the locking housing 34.

A refrigerator locking system is used to secure the doors of a refrigerator in closed or open positions. The system includes at least one anchor bar, a locking bracket, a door block and a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a frame, at least one refrigerator door and a freezer door. The anchor bar is mounted to the frame in between the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The locking bracket is connected adjacent to the frame and is engaged with to the door block to secure the refrigerator door and the freezer door. The door block can be used to press the refrigerator door and the freezer door against the frame, keeping the refrigerator closed. Alternatively, the door block can be positioned in between the frame and both the refrigerator door and the freezer door to keep the refrigerator open.

A door security device includes a support bar, a first support member, a second support member, and an engagement portion. The first support member is provided on one end of the support bar and is adapted to abut against a surface of an associated door. The second support member is provided at another end of the support bar and is adapted to abut an associated structural surface. The engagement portion is secured to the support bar and is configured to releasably engage a door part of the associated door or an emergency entry device affixed to the associated door. The engagement portion applies a pulling force on the door part in a direction toward the support bar.

A system to barricade a door from forced entry is disclosed. The system includes an anchor insertable by a user into a receptacle mounted into a floor on the inside on the door, and a lock affixable to the door. The anchor includes an upper portion designed to connect with the lock, and a lower portion that preferably fits within the receptacle. The lock includes a stop designed to contact the outside surface of the door, and a key plate on the inside of the door. When the anchor is vertically inserted into the receptacle, the upper portion of the anchor engages the key plate of the lock affixed to the door, which in conjunction with the stop prevents the door from swinging outwards. The anchor can be removed from the receptacle when the user doesn't desire to barricade the door.

A door latch 10 has an existing stationary latch arm 12 and the door jam has an existing swinging arm 14 for engaging the latch arm 12 to lock the door. The present invention provides a protective locking guard 30 having a notch 38 formed therein for placing over the stationary latch arm 12, and the protective locking guard 30 also has a plate 32 for moving the existing swinging arm 14 over the plate 32. A locking clasp 40 is provided for inserting through an opening 36 in plate 32 in order to prevent the door latch 10 from being opened from the opposite side of the door.
