Hinge for a removable tailgate
A hinge to removably mount a tailgate to a vehicle is provided. The hinge comprises a tailgate leaf connected to a tailgate and a body leaf connected to the box of the vehicle. The tailgate leaf is attached to the slider through a hinge pivot. The body leaf has a first chamber in which a slider can be locked and unlocked through a locking mechanism in the second chamber. The locking mechanism comprises a locking wedge, a threaded shaft, and a cam lever to operate the locking wedge without the requirement of a tool.
Multipurpose exercise device
In general, a multifunctional exercise device includes a first lateral slide component and a second lateral slide component. The multifunctional exercise device includes a hinge assembly with a first pivotal hinge piece connected to the first lateral slide component at a first side pivot point and a second pivotal hinge piece connected to the second lateral slide component at a second side pivot point. A first pin is adapted to retain the first pivotal hinge piece and second pivotal bracket piece in a connected, pivotal position at a center pivot. A first slidable hand grip adapted to slide along the first lateral slide component and a second slidable hand grip adapted to slide along the second lateral slide component are also included. First and second adjustable feet are provided for allowing the first lateral slide component and the second lateral slide component to be adjusted to various equal or unequal heights.
RELEASABLE BALL LOCK HINGE
A releasable ball lock hinge is disclosed. The releasable ball lock hinge includes a first body operable with a hinge ball and a release ball. Each ball can be movable within respective openings of the first body. The releasable ball lock hinge also includes a second body configured to rotatably interface and removably couple with the first body. The hinge ball releasably engages the second body. The second body has a release recess operable with the release ball to disengage the hinge ball and alternately couple and release the first body and the second body based on a relative position between the first body and the second body.
Hinged ballistic resistant panel
A movable ballistic resistant panel includes ballistic resistant leaf hinges that allow multiple panels to be attached to each other to form an openable and movable barrier capable of numerous different configurations.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A TRANSPARENT ORGANIC LIGHTING DIODE (TOLED) DISPLAY WITH TRANSPARENCY CONTROL ON ARCHITECTURAL GLASS
A system and method for removable or semi-permanent installation of a transparent organic lighting diode (TOLED) display with transparency control are disclosed. In one embodiment, the system includes a TOLED display that includes a TOLED panel with a front side and a back side, a cover glass coupled to the front side of the TOLED panel, and an electrochromic (EC) glass coupled to the back side of the TOLED panel to provide transparency control of the TOLED panel. The system further includes a top hinge assembly and a bottom hinge assembly used to rotatably couple the TOLED display to a support structure to facilitate rotation of the TOLED display to different positions and to provide relatively easy removal of the TOLED display.
ELECTRICAL DEVICE ENCLOSURE
An electrical device enclosure that includes a base having a base wall for being mounted to a supporting structure with at least one access opening in the base wall for receiving an insert plate having electrical device opening for receiving an electrical device to extend therethrough. A plurality of raised bosses are positioned on a rear side of the base wall proximate the access opening. The insert plates have a plurality of attachment elements for cooperating with respective ones of the bosses for mounting the insert plate to the rear side of the base wall and against the supporting structure. A raised cover is pivotally-mounted on the base and movable for selectively enclosing and exposing the base.
Pivoting device for a motor vehicle with easy-to-install and safer pivot bearing
Pivoting device (1) for a motor vehicle has a holder (50) and a pivoting body (10) which is mounted on the holder (50) via an articulated mounting (31) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (12), wherein the pivoting body (10) and the holder (50) are held together by a snap fastening between at least two articulation elements (33.1, 33.2, 34.1, 34.2) of the articulated mounting (31), and the pivoting device (1) has a blocking element (40). A closing or release of the snap fastening is possible in at least one first angular position of the pivoting body (10) in relation to the holder (50) and the closing or release of the snap fastening is blocked in at least one second angular position by a relative movement of the two articulation elements (33.1, 33.2, 34.1, 34.2) being blocked in a form-fitting manner by the blocking element (40).
HINGE, LEAF AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
An anti-ligature hinge for a door and associated methods and systems are provided. The anti-ligature hinge has a hinge bracket operatively associable with a support and a hinge member operatively associable with a leaf. The hinge member is connectable to the hinge bracket and rotatable relative to the hinge bracket about an axis of rotation. The hinge member can disconnect from the hinge bracket in response to a threshold force acting along or transverse to the axis or rotation. This hinge is for eliminating ligature points in doors where vulnerable individuals are to be left unsupervised.
DOOR HINGE ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING A LATCH TO FACILITATE SELECTIVE DOOR REMOVAL
A vehicle hinge assembly includes a door portion, a body portion, and a hinge pin movable between an engaged position where the door portion and the body portion are rotatably coupled and a disengaged position where the door portion and the body portion are configured to be decoupled from one another. A latch is moveable relative to the hinge pin between a locked position where the latch blocks movement of the hinge pin and an unlocked position where the latch allowed movement of the hinge pin. The latch is configured to be in the unlocked position when the vehicle hinge assembly is in a first substantially upright orientation, and the latch is configured to be in the locked position when the vehicle hinge assembly is in a second substantially upside-down orientation.
HINGE FOR A REMOVABLE TAILGATE
