Structure for Preventing Deviation of Sliding Door
20200392775 · 2020-12-17 ·

A structure can help to prevent deviation of a sliding door. The structure includes a lower rail mounted in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, a slider inserted into and rollably coupled to the lower rail, a swing arm rotatably coupled to the slider and a door of a vehicle, and a lifter having a first end rotatably coupled to the swing arm and a second end rotatably coupled to the door. The lifter is configured to move along with a rectilinear motion or a rotational motion of the swing arm. One end of the swing arm coupled to the door and the other end of the lifter coupled to the door are spaced apart from each other at a predetermined distance and support the door.

OVERTRAVEL HINGE
20200300012 · 2020-09-24 ·

An overtravel hinge for a sliding door of a vehicle. The overtravel hinge expands from a collapsed condition, to a partially deployed condition, and to a fully deployed condition. The hinge includes a four bar linkage utilizing an arm to control movement of the overtravel hinge between the collapsed condition and the fully deployed condition. The overtravel hinge, in one embodiment, is used to modify or retrofit a known original equipment manufacturer vehicle.

Casement window operator
10760317 · 2020-09-01 · ·

A window operator for repositioning a window sash within a window frame. The window operator includes a crank handle for rotating a shaft with a pinion gear. The pinion gear operably engages with a rack containing cutouts, the rack having oppositely disposed first and second ends. The rack is translatable within a track disposed within the window frame. The window operator also includes an operator arm connectable between a first end of the rack and the sash wherein rotation of the shaft by the handle imparts movement to the rack and the operator arm, the rack and operator arm movement capable of transitioning the sash between a window open and a window closed position.

SYSTEM FOR CLOSING AND OPENING AT LEAST ONE LEAF OF AN INWARD SWINGING DOOR

The system comprises a lever (2) that is rotatable about a point fixed to the vehicle and articulately joined to the upper edge (6) of the leaf (1); a horizontal guide (3) through which a carriage (4) slides; push-pull means (10,11) that articulately link the upper edge (6) to the carriage (4); and actuation means (12) simultaneously linked to the lever (2) and the carriage (4), which are adapted to distribute their action on the lever (2) and the carriage (4) depending on the force to overcome in order to open and close the leaf (1), such that their action is automatically distributed on the lever (2) when greater power is required to move the carriage (4), this is essentially during the initial opening operation from the end closing position, and during the closing and locking operation from an imminent closing position.

SLIDING DOOR MECHANISM
20200149333 · 2020-05-14 ·

A sliding door mechanism includes a track that is fixed in position relative to a door opening, a post fixed in position relative to the track, and a member that is moveable longitudinally with respect to the track, the member being configured to be guided by the track. The mechanism further includes an arm mounted to the member, the arm rotatable about a vertical axis and configured to be pivotably attached to the sliding door. The arm defines a slot that is configured to receive the post as the door is moved from an open position toward a closed position such that the post urges the arm to rotate relative to the carriage such that the arm transmits a force to the door to urge the door to move laterally into the door opening.
