An arrangement for guiding at least one movable furniture part includes a guide rail to be mounted on the fixed furniture part, and a guide device to be coupled to the movable furniture part, and a preferably substantially cylindrical, load-transmitting rolling body. The guide rail has a guide track, on which the load-transmitting rolling body is mounted in a movable manner. The guide track has a parking position for the load-transmitting rolling body, and the parking position corresponds to an end position of the movable furniture part relative to the fixed furniture part. The load-transmitting rolling body and the guide track are designed such that the guide track can be deformed in this region, a depression being formed in the process, and the load-transmitting rolling body is substantially dimensionally stable.

Non-hinged door system and method of conversion of a hinged door into a non-hinged door

A door system is provided for use with a door and a door frame defining an entry opening to provide selective closing and opening of the entry opening. The door system can be used to convert a conventional hinged door into one providing less obtrusion into space in front of and behind the respective entry opening. The door system includes an overhead movement mechanism providing at least two transverse directions of movement, and one or more hinge replacement mechanisms providing latching of the door at a lateral side opposite the door handle. The movement mechanism is configured to move the door between a closed orientation in the door frame and an open orientation horizontally spaced from the entry opening. The open orientation is disposed along an adjacent wall having the door frame. A standard door handle, strike and strike plate are used to move and to lock the door.

Hardware for a lift glide door assembly and lift glide window assembly provides ease of opening with an operational opening assist that urges the door or window to an open position on operation of an opening handle by use of a cable drive system. A lock mechanism actuates a lock pin, blocks opening gear mechanisms from operating and extends a security bolt for locking. A guide blade is provided for assisting the door during opening or closing operations.

Sliding window for a building, home automation installation comprising such a sliding window and method for controlling the operation of a motorized drive device for such a window

A sliding window for a building includes a stationary frame, an opening leaf, a motorized drive device, a fittings system, and a locking control device. The motorized drive device includes an electromechanical actuator, a flexible element, and a drive arm. The flexible element drives movement of the opening leaf with respect to the stationary frame when the actuator is electrically activated. The arm is connected both to a frame of the opening leaf and to the flexible element. The locking control device collaborates with a lock of the fittings system and is actuated by the flexible element when the actuator is electrically activated. The drive arm supports the locking control device. The fittings system also includes an errorproofing system. The locking control device actuates the lock following activation of the errorproofing system and when the actuator is electrically activated.

ROOF SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

A roof system for a vehicle, comprises a movable roof panel for a roof opening. Stationary guide rails slidably guide an operating mechanism that operates the panel. The operating mechanism comprises a first device for moving the panel rear edge towards a raised position and a second device including a lever for moving the panel front edge in a vertical direction. A guiding slide is driven to move the panel both vertically and horizontally through the first and second devices. The lever comprises a first pivotal connection to the panel, and, remote from that spaced second and third connections. The third connection connects the lever to the guiding slide. A fourth connection on the lever is arranged near the third connection and connects the lever to the guiding slide when the third connection is disconnected from the guiding slide during a movement of the front edge of the panel upwardly.

Means for securing against operating errors for leaves of a window or door that can be slid together

A fitting assembly has a device for securing against operating errors that has a first protrusion which can be moved relative to a second protrusion by means of a first operating rod assembly. A buffer can be provided between the end sides of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The first protrusion can be a cylinder and/or the second protrusion can extend in an elongated manner. The fitting assembly can have an anti-lifting device with a third protrusion which prevents a lifting of the first leaf. The fitting assembly has multiple carriages and multiple sliders in order to position leaves of the window or the door into their slide position in parallel with the main plane of the window or the door. In the blocking position, the leaves can be pressed against a fixed frame of the window or the door via the fitting assembly with multiple carriages and multiple sliders, in order to reliably seal the window or the door.

Height compensating sliding fenestration systems and methods

Sliding fenestration systems that compensate for changes in opening height after installation and methods of installing such sliding fenestration systems are described herein. The head track of a sliding fenestration system moves vertically relative to the bottom of the building opening to compensate for changes in building opening height while still maintaining lateral support for the panels in the sliding fenestration system by virtue of a direct connection between the head track and the top of the building opening.
