Tailgate system for a vehicle with astride opening features
10358854 · 2019-07-23 ·

A means for opening tailgates of vehicles having a split tailgate with a lower door section and an upper door section. The upper door section would essential comprise the rear glass and mounting means of the upper door section to the vehicle. Further, it includes a pair of side guide tracks in the outer frame about the rear glass or panel. The lower door section includes at least four rollers for moving in the guide tracks. A locking and lifting handle in the lower door section releases the lower door to move vertically into the guide tracts. An upper detent or similar device would hold the lower door section on the outside of the upper door section when pushed to the upper extent. When the handle is release, the lower section would be locked to the upper door section.

Means for securing against operating errors for leaves of a window or door that can be slid together

A fitting assembly has a device for securing against operating errors that has a first protrusion which can be moved relative to a second protrusion by means of a first operating rod assembly. A buffer can be provided between the end sides of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The first protrusion can be a cylinder and/or the second protrusion can extend in an elongated manner. The fitting assembly can have an anti-lifting device with a third protrusion which prevents a lifting of the first leaf. The fitting assembly has multiple carriages and multiple sliders in order to position leaves of the window or the door into their slide position in parallel with the main plane of the window or the door. In the blocking position, the leaves can be pressed against a fixed frame of the window or the door via the fitting assembly with multiple carriages and multiple sliders, in order to reliably seal the window or the door.

A LIFTING SYSTEM FOR A LIFTABLE SLIDING LEAF

Hardware for a lift glide door assembly and lift glide window assembly provides ease of opening with an operational opening assist that urges the door or window to an open position on operation of an opening handle by use of a cable drive system. A lock mechanism actuates a lock pin, blocks opening gear mechanisms from operating and extends a security bolt for locking. A guide blade is provided for assisting the door during opening or closing operations.

ACTUATING DEVICE FOR THE SASH OF A SLIDING WINDOW OR DOOR
20190071910 · 2019-03-07 ·

A sliding window or door includes sash, a frame and an actuator, which includes a carriage. The carriage includes a slide mounted on the sash so as to enable a secondary sliding motion between a stationed position and a sliding position and vice versa. The carriage also a connecting portion fixed to the sash and associated with the slide so that the secondary sliding motion of the slide towards the sliding position determines a raising of the sash and the secondary sliding motion of the slide towards the stationed position determines a lowering of the sash. A rotating actuator is mounted on a rear head surface of the sash, and has a rotation axis parallel to said sliding direction. A rear command shaft is arranged along the rear head surface of the sash and operatively interposed between the actuator and the carriage for generating the secondary sliding motion.

SLIDING DOOR APPARATUS

A sliding door apparatus capable of effectively restraining sliding movement of a door body is provided. A sliding door apparatus 1 includes: a rail 20 having an inner surface 24 formed to have a concave shape, the inner surface 24 having a first support surface 24A and a second support surface 24B which are not parallel to each other; a hanger 30A, 30B having a first driving member (32, 37) in rolling contact with the first support surface 24A, and a second driving member (33, 38) in rolling contact with the second support surface 24B; and a door body 40 configured to be moved in a longitudinal direction of the rail 20 through the hanger 30A, 30B. When seen along the longitudinal direction of the rail, the first support surface 24A and the second support surface 24B are formed to come close to each other as they extend toward a bottom of the inner surface 24.

Adjustable gear lock mechanism for a lift and slide door or window
09957740 · 2018-05-01 · ·

A gear lock mechanism for use with a door or window adapted to lift and slide. The gear lock mechanism includes a gear channel, an adjustable lock box assembly configured for removably positioning in the gear channel and at least two roller carriages. Each of the at least two roller carriages has a plurality of wheels for moving the door or window to an open and closed position. A backset adapter may be removably connected to the gear lock mechanism.

Guide for a liftable sliding leaf
12152424 · 2024-11-26 · ·

A guide (10) for a liftable sliding leaf comprises at least two guide bars (14, 16), a first bar (14) of which can be connected movably to a support (24), fixed with respect to the leaf, and a second bar (16) can be connected integrally to a top part (12) of the leaf (11) so that both the bars (14, 16) are movable in a vertical plane.

System for occupants to individually control light and air penetration through a vehicle roof
09908392 · 2018-03-06 · ·

A vehicle includes a plurality of individually controllable vehicle roof modules. Each of these modules includes: a frame, an adjustable wind deflector carried at a fore end portion of the frame, a window panel carried on the frame, and a first motor structured to selectively open the window panel by moving the window panel away from the fore end portion and over its aft end portion when electrically energized. Each module also includes a shade and a second motor structured to selectively adjust the shade over a range from an undeployed state to a deployed state when electrically energized. The modules each carry a locking mechanism with a locked state to fix the frame in a respective roof opening and establish an electrical power circuit to energize the motors; and an unlocked state to remove the frame from the roof opening, and open the electrical power circuit.
