Bi-fold door latch assembly
11668128 · 2023-06-06 · ·

A latch assembly connected to the drive unit of a bi-fold door for retaining the bi-fold door secure to a building has elongated straps attached to rotatable latch drums mounted on the outer ends of the drive shaft of the drive unit. Lift drums powered by a motor driven gearbox raise and lower the bi-fold door. Latch assemblies having springs attached to the straps maintain tension on the straps during the opening and closing of the bi-fold door.

Power pocket sliding door

A system for managing opening and closing a pocket door includes a spindle, an actuator, and brackets. The spindle extends along a longitudinal axis between first and second ends, and is configured to be coupled to the pocket door. The actuator is coupled to the spindle and is configured to cause the spindle to move axially along the longitudinal axis. The brackets are connected to the spindle at each end and are constrained from longitudinal motion relative to the spindle. The brackets are configured to affix the spindle to the pocket door. A bushing system couples each bracket to the spindle and is configured to dampen impact between the spindle and the brackets. For example, the bushing system may include lobed elements, made of a rubber material, that engage each other to transmit azimuthal forces. In some embodiments, another actuator is included to improve cycle life and redundancy.

SECTIONAL DOOR OPERATOR SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a sectional door operator system (1) for opening and closing an opening (2). The sectional door operator system (1) comprises a door (8) arranged to be moved between an open (O) and closed (C) position and comprising a plurality of horizontal and interconnected sections (9a-e), a door frame (3) comprising a first frame section (4) at a first side (5) of the opening (2) and a second frame section (6) at a second side (7) of the opening (2), wherein the plurality of horizontal and interconnected sections (9a-e) are connected to the door frame (3), a drive unit (10) mounted on a section (9e) of the plurality of sections (9a-e), wherein the drive unit (10) is arranged to move the sectional door (8) from the closed position (C) to the open position (O), wherein the drive unit (10) comprises at least a first motor (11a) and a second motor (11b) and wherein the first motor (11a) and the second motor (11b) are mounted at different vertical sides of the horizontal and interconnected section (9e), a control unit (20) being in operative communication with the drive unit (10) and configured to control the operation of the drive unit (10), and at least a first sensing element (30a) and a second sensing element (30b) configured to provide operational data of the first and second motor (11a, 11b) to the control unit (20).

Door actuator

A door actuator for opening and/or closing a door leaf includes a housing, an output shaft rotatably supported in the housing and with a cam disc, wherein the output shaft is formed for transferring torque onto the door leaf. A first element of motion is linearly movably guided in the housing with a first contact surface. A second element of motion is linearly movably guided in the housing with a second contact surface. A distancing arrangement is disposed in the housing. The cam disc is disposed between the two contact surfaces and for rolling on the two contact surfaces. In at least one delimiting range of angles of rotation of the output shaft, the distancing arrangement delimits the minimum distance between the elements of motion, and, in at least one free range of angles of rotation, does not delimit the linear mobility of the two elements of motion in relation to each other.

FURNITURE HINGE

Guide rails with which a window regulator is provided are respectively fixed to a module plate. The guide rails are fixed, together with the module plate, to an edge of an opening portion provided at inward frames from an outward side in a vehicle width direction. Attachment portions which are capable of afterward attaching outward frames to the inward frames are provided, and attachment portions which are capable of afterward attaching a door outer panel to a door frame comprising the inward frames and the outward frames are provided.

Emergency door closing device

An emergency door closing device that can be installed upon existing doors and hinges to automatically close doors in the response to smoke and fire. The improvements incorporated therein include a hinge cam pivot member that attaches to an existing hinge member of a door and produces a moment force about the existing hinge member allowing a reduced force necessary to pivot the door into a closed position. Further, a novel spring, cam, and lever system is incorporated to activate the moment force to close the door.

CONCEALED EXTERNAL HINGE WITH 180 DEGREE ROTATION
