HINGE FOR AN ITEM OF FURNITURE

The invention relates to a hinge for an item of furniture, comprising a first and a second hinge part (100, 200) that are pivotably interconnected by means of a hinged connection, the second hinge part (200) carrying or comprising a mounting element (300), the mounting element (300) comprising at least one guide assembly comprising at least one guide (405) that extends in the direction of a longitudinal axis (L) of the mounting element (300),

the mounting element (300) being connected to a retaining part (400) when in the mounting position, and the guide assembly acting between the mounting element (300) and the retaining part (400), by means of which guide assembly the mounting element (300) can be moved into a mounting position in a manner guided in the guide direction. A significant improvement in the ease of mounting is achieved in a hinge of this kind if the guide assembly comprises a first centering guide (406), by means of which the mounting element (300) is aligned in a first mounting direction when adjusted in the guide direction (L).

Door latch for a domestic electrical appliance and method for mounting such a door latch

A latch module has an insertion mouth for receiving a closing member on closing of a door of a domestic appliance. Two collar portions which project away from one another are formed on both sides of the insertion mouth. Beneath a first of the collar portions there is formed a first recess, and beneath the second of the collar portions there is formed a second recess, which in some exemplary embodiments has two steps, where a first, less deep step is formed by a first lateral wall sub-portion and a second, deeper step is formed by a second lateral wall sub-portion.

DOOR OPERATOR ARMATURE CONNECTIONS

An exemplary door control assembly includes a door control and an armature assembly. The door control includes a body and a pinion rotatably mounted to the body for rotation about a rotational axis. The pinion has a radially-outer periphery and a recess is formed in the radially-outer periphery. The armature assembly comprises an armature and a coupler. The armature is rotationally coupled with the pinion, and includes an opening in which the pinion is received. The coupler is movably mounted to the armature for movement between a coupling position and a decoupling position. With the coupler in the coupling position, the coupler projects into the recess and axially couples the armature and the pinion to prevent removal of the armature from the pinion. With the coupler in the decoupling position, the coupler axially decouples the armature and the pinion to permit removal of the armature from the pinion.

A door stop includes an elongated body defining an axis, at least one attachment structure disposed near a first end of the elongated body, and at least one adornment coupler. The adornment coupler can include a channel formed in the elongated body parallel to its axis and having a cross-section in the shape of an inverted T. The adornment coupler enables different adornments to be interchangeably attached to the door stop. An adornment of the invention includes a decorative portion and a mounting structure coupled to the decorative portion. The mounting structure is configured to removably engage a complementary adornment coupler (e.g., the channel) of the door stop, whereby the adornment can be mounted to the door stop.

LOCKING HINGE ASSEMBLY

A hinge assembly for an automobile that is adapted to attach a first component to a second component, wherein the first component pivots about an axis relative to the first component, comprises a base plate adapted to be mounted to the first component, a hinge support adapted to be mounted to the second component and adapted to support the base plate and first component on the second component, a hinge hook extending from the base plate and adapted to removably and rotatably engage the hinge support, and a locking mechanism mounted onto the hinge assembly and adapted to selectively lock the hinge hook in rotational engagement with the hinge support.

PASSIVE CRUSH-PREVENTION DEVICE FOR DOORS
20200263472 · 2020-08-20 ·

The present invention pertains to the technological sector of household items and refers, more specifically, to a passive safety device applied to doors in order to prevent them, when closing unexpectedly, from causing accidents to body parts of humans or animals. Since the safety devices applied for this purpose present the obstacle of being removed or disarmed when the user wishes to close the door (7), the present invention presents a passive combination (1) endowed with rod (2) and fastening element (4) that should be attached to the handle (5) present on the door (7) in such a way as to move together with it (5). This causes the rod (2) endowed or not with a stop (3) to stand between the door (7) and the frame (6) passively in order to prevent the unexpected closing of the door and preserve the security space (8) preventing body parts of people or animals from being crushed.
