The sliding door track includes a track channel extending from the passenger opening toward a rear portion of the vehicle, wherein the sliding door track includes a first end located toward the passenger opening and a second end located toward the rear portion of the vehicle. The track extender includes a track extension body located at the second end of the track wherein the track extension body defines an extension channel. The extension channel is aligned with the track to lengthen the track and to extend a travel distance of the sliding mechanism along the track and to increase a width of the passenger opening.

A vehicle spring assembly includes a cylindrical hollow cover defining an opening at each end. A spring is disposed within the cover, and fittings disposed at each end of the cover are configured to contain the spring within the cover. Each fitting defines an aperture. An elongated damper extends in part within the spring along a direction of elongation. The damper includes a pair of opposing end sections each extending through and projecting from the aperture of one of the fittings. Each end section defines a groove. One end section is connectable to a vehicle tailgate, and the other end section is connectable to a vehicle body. Fasteners securing the fittings to the cover are disposed adjacent the grooves defined in the damper end sections.

The straight portion (11) of the rail (6a) is provided with the pull-in device (15) which can capture a trigger (18) provided on the straight portion (11) of the rail (6a) and linearly move along the straight portion (11) of the rail (6a) when the sliding door (2) is closed. A pull-in force transmission part (20) for moving the support shaft along the inclined portion (12) of the rail (6a) is coupled to the pull-in device (15).

A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each leg of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.
