Structure for operating watertight door by buoyancy
Provided is a structure for operating a watertight door by use of buoyancy. The structure includes: a detention tank for storing rainwater flowing from a street inlet; a buoyant member which is installed in the detention tank; and a sensor installed in the detention tank, in which if the buoyant member raised by the buoyant of the rainwater collected in the detention tank comes into contact with the sensor, the watertight door is automatically operated. The watertight door structure manually operated at localized heavy rain is improved, and the watertight door is automatically operated if the water level reaches the predetermined level.
Vehicle door opening/closing apparatus and electrostatic sensor
A vehicle door opening/closing apparatus includes: an electrode provided near a vehicle door, which is opened and closed by driving of an actuator; a detection unit configured to separately detect presence or absence of an opening/closing operation of requesting opening/closing of the vehicle door by a user and presence or absence of a proximity state where a person exists in proximity of the vehicle door based on variation in an electrostatic capacity in the electrode; and a controller configured to drive the actuator when the opening/closing operation is detected by the detection unit even when an opening/closing request of the vehicle door from a device other than the detection unit is recognized and not to drive the actuator when the detection unit detects the proximity state.
POWER WINDOW DEVICE
A power window device includes a control unit configured to monitor a first potential at one end of a first switch circuit including a window closing switch and a second potential at one end of a second switch circuit including a window opening switch, and determine that submersion has occurred when the first or second potential is in a first or second submersion potential range. During a normal time, the control unit outputs a window closing command signal when the first potential is a potential at a time of the window closing switch being operated, and outputs a window opening command signal when the second potential is a potential at a time of the window opening switch being operated. At a time of submersion, the control unit does not output the window closing command signal, and outputs the window opening command signal.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH DOOR PRESENTER CONTROL
A door system, presenter assembly and method for controlling movement of a motor vehicle closure panel between a closed position, a presented position and an open position are provided. Presenter assembly includes an electric motor having a drive shaft that extends along a drive shaft axis. A clutch assembly has an engaged state when electric motor is energized and a disengaged state when electric motor is de-energized. A presenter unit has a presenter lead screw and an extensible member configured for movement between a retracted position corresponding to the closed position and an extended position corresponding to the presented position. Extensible member is biased toward the retracted position by a presenter biasing member. Presenter lead screw is rotatably driven by the output member when electric motor is energized and when clutch assembly is in the engaged state to move the extensible member against the bias of the presenter biasing member to the extended position. Extensible member is automatically biased from the extended position to the retracted position by the presenter biasing member when the electric motor is de-energized and when the clutch assembly is in the disengaged state.
WIRE REGULATOR
In a wire regulator, a slider has a metal portion and a resin portion. The resin portion covers part of a front surface and a back surface of the metal portion, and forms a rainwater guide portion having an eave, the rainwater guide portion reducing entrance of rainwater into a lifting wire end housing portion, a lowering wire end housing portion, and a groove portion. A slit is provided at the resin portion at at least one of a front surface or a back surface of the slider.
WIRE REGULATOR
In a wire regulator, a lifting wire extension direction is a direction crossing a rainwater and the like dropping direction. A first rainwater guide portion having an eave formed on one side of a slider through a lifting wire is formed. A second rainwater guide portion having an eave formed on the other side of the slider through the lifting wire is formed. The eave of the first rainwater guide portion and the eave of the second rainwater guide portion are arranged shifted from each other in the rainwater and the like dropping direction.
Vehicle drowning sensing system
Methods, systems, and apparatus for automatically responding to at least partial submersion of a vehicle in water. The system includes a sensor configured to detect sensor data indicating whether the vehicle is at least partially submerged in water. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) connected to the sensor. The ECU is configured to determine that the vehicle is at least partially submerged in water based on the sensor data. The ECU is also configured to adjust at least one feature of the vehicle in response to the determination that the vehicle is at least partially submerged in water.
Temporary water barrier to prevent flooding through residential and commercial doors
A temporary water barrier for residential and commercial doors. The temporary water barrier is an inflatable bladder that is configured to be installed in a doorway and inflated to create a barrier to water within the jam of the door or opening beneath the door. The elongate bladder has sealed ends, an inflation valve to communicate an inflation fluid to an interior of the bladder. A resilient seal may be provided along one or more of a top surface and a bottom surface of the bladder. A notch may be defined in the bladder with the notch dimensioned to fit around a hinge supporting the door in the doorway.
Ice-breaking hinge assemblies for vehicle closure members
This disclosure is directed to hinge assemblies for securing closure members to a vehicle body. Exemplary hinge assemblies may include icebreaker features for breaking through ice formations that can form on the closure members. The icebreaker features are configured to break through the ice formations as the closure members are moved.
