Method of operating an automatic door installation
A method is disclosed of operating an automatic door installation comprising door sensor equipment including a door sensor. The automatic door installation is operable in at least a standard mode, in which the door sensor equipment conducts an obstacle check to determine whether an obstacle is present according to a first obstacle check procedure, and a contingency mode, in which the door sensor equipment conducts the obstacle check according to a different second obstacle check procedure. The method includes the steps of evaluating an operating condition of the automatic door installation; determining whether the operating condition lies within a standard operating range; and operating the automatic door installation in the contingency mode when the operating condition lies outside a respective standard operating range.
Ferroelectric Sensor
A sensor (1) which consists of a first electrode (3a), a ferroelectric layer (2) and a second electrode (3b) is described. The second electrode (3b) is connected to ground and the ferroelectric layer (2) is arranged between the first and second electrodes (3a, 3b).
Height Raising Member for Raising Mounting Position of Motor for Elevator Door, Car Door Device Equipped With Height Raising Member for Raising Mounting Position of Motor for Elevator Door, and Elevator Car Equipped With Height Raising Member for Raising Mounting Position of Motor for Elevator Door
The present invention includes a height raising member body mountable to an upper end of a frame disposed above an entrance of a car that moves up and down through an elevator shaft, in which a rail for guiding a car door in an opening and closing direction and a pulley for use in opening and closing drive of the car door are mounted to the frame. The height raising member body characteristically includes: a base part connectable to the frame; and a supporting part capable of supporting the motor at a position upward away from the base, the motor being configured to drive the pulley via a belt.
ELEVATOR DOOR ARRANGEMENT WITH DOOR PANEL ADJUSTABILITY IN AT LEAST TWO DIMENSIONS
Elevator door arrangement includes door panel connected to door mechanism by an interface member. Door panel first fixation plate section and door mechanism second fixation plate section extend in horizontal and vertical planes respectively. Interface member has first and second interconnection plate sections extending parallel to the horizontal and vertical planes respectively. Third oblong through-hole extends in second horizontal direction in first fixation plate section, first oblong through-hole extends in first horizontal direction in first interconnection plate section transverse to the second horizontal direction, and second oblong through-hole extends in vertical direction in second fixation plate section. Door panel is fixed to interface member by a first fixation member vertically extending through the first and optionally the third through-holes and interface member is fixed to door mechanism by a second fixation member horizontally extending through the second through-hole establishing 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional door panel adjustability.
DOOR CONTROLLER AND DOOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MOVEMENTS OF AT LEAST ONE DOOR LEAF OF AN ELEVATOR DOOR
A door control system with a door controller controls shift movements of at least one door leaf of an elevator door. The door controller is configured as a slave controller to implement master instructions from an elevator controller, acting as a master controller, by actuating a door drive. The door controller is also configured to autonomously reverse a previous door leaf movement, preferably by a specified distance, when a collision of the at least one door leaf with an obstacle is detected, by appropriately actuating the door drive. In this way, even in the event of a malfunction of the elevator controller or if an elevator installation is operated in a fire mode or maintenance mode, it can be ensured that no obstacles or people are trapped in the elevator door.
Remote configuration of elevators, escalators and automatic doors
There are provided measures for performing a configuration control in relation to an elevator, an escalator and automatic doors in a remote manner. Such measures exemplarily comprise determining a status of a component of said control apparatus, detecting whether a change with respect to said component has occurred based on said status, defining configuration parameters for said component, if it is detected that said change has occurred, and initiating transmission of said configuration parameters to said control apparatus.
Device for unlocking a landing door
A device for unlocking a landing door includes a door leaf that can be moved between an open position and a closed position, a bar arranged on the door leaf to lock the door leaf in the closed position, and an energy accumulator coupled to the door leaf to provide the energy for moving the door leaf into the closed position in the event that the energy supply needed to drive the door leaf fails. The energy accumulator is coupled to the door leaf by an elastic element such that through a displacement of the energy accumulator when the door leaf is in the closed position, the bar is moved to an unlocked position.
Piezoelectric Device
In an embodiment a device includes a piezoelectric transducer element and a support connected mechanically to each other thereby forming an assembly, wherein the piezoelectric transducer element and the support are configured to be jointly deformed under an action of a first force, wherein the support includes a neutral fiber arranged inside the support, the neutral fiber configured to not undergo any change in length during a bending of the assembly, and wherein the piezoelectric transducer element includes a ferroelectric polymer layer or a layer having a composite material including a ceramic material and a piezoelectric polymer matrix.
Door engagement device
Provided is a door engagement device including: a first member that extends in a vertical direction and is able to come into contact with an engaged part from a door closing direction side; a second member that extends in the vertical direction at a position with a distance from the first member to a door opening side and is able to come into contact with the engaged part from a door opening direction side; a pair of link members that form a parallel link mechanism in cooperation with the first member so as to enable the first member to pivotally move between a predetermined first position and a predetermined second position located closer to the door closing direction side than the first position while keeping the posture of the first member; and a restricting part that releasably restricts the pivotal movement of the first member at the first position.
Enhanced door detection
A door control system is provided. Aspects includes a sensor having a field of view in proximity to a door threshold of an entrance to an occupancy area, wherein the sensor is adapted to detect objects in the door threshold and a landing area proximate to the door threshold, wherein the sensor is operated based on a movement of a door in the door threshold. And based at least upon detecting an object within a portion of the door threshold or the landing area, the sensor operable to signal a door operation controller to perform an action.
