The method of door control without, hand contact, wherein, when the door leaf is in its stationary closed position, all the energy necessary for automatic opening and subsequent closing the door leaf, initiated by an actuating force, preferably realized by means of a foot lever, is accumulated in an opening and closing mechanism during the actuating action of the controlling mechanism. During the automatic opening, the only acting force is the tension of the opening member, and during the subsequent automatic closing, the only acting force is the tension of the closing member. By means of the bimodal opening and closing mechanism, the tensions of these two members act separately, not against each other.

AUTOMATIC CLEANING DEVICE

An automatic cleaning device includes an accelerometer, a sprayer, a driving module and a processing unit. The accelerometer is mounted to a door, measures acceleration of the door, and outputs an acceleration value accordingly. The sprayer is for storing cleaner, and is operable to spray the cleaner. The processing unit is electrically connected to the driving module and the accelerometer, and determines whether the acceleration value is greater than an acceleration threshold, and generates a driving signal and transmits the same to the driving module for enabling the driving module to drive the sprayer to spray the cleaner when determining that the acceleration value is greater than the acceleration threshold.

A hand hygiene system is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the hand hygiene system includes a hand sanitizer dispensing unit that dispenses a hand sanitizer, a shared electronic device in communication with the hand sanitizer dispensing unit and a manual override device. The hand sanitizer dispensing unit transmits an activation signal to the shared electronic device. The shared electronic device reduces resistance to access to the shared electronic device, upon receipt of the activation signal from the hand sanitizer dispensing unit. The manual override device allows access to the shared electronic device independent of the activation signal of the hand sanitizer dispensing unit. The manual override device also provides greater resistance to access the shared electronic device than provided from the receipt of the activation signal.

An automated door-opening device is disclosed that includes a first sensor disposed on the outside of the door. The first sensor is adapted to recognize a predetermined pattern of a gesture made by a patron. The gesture made in front of the first sensor opens the door by a first actuator. A second actuator can be used to lock or unlock the door, thereby providing full hand-free operation of the door. A hinge system is disclosed that includes three off-set hinges adapted to utilize the weight of the door to cause the door to self position and allow manual operation of the door.

Restroom door assembly

A door assembly for a restroom stall having first and second opposed side walls and a front opening includes first and second housings defining first and second inner cavities and configured to be mounted on the first and second side walls, first and second doors moveably mounted on the first and second housings, each having opposed inner and outer surfaces that are curved and being moveable along an arcing path between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the door is retracted within the respective housing and at least partially received in the respective inner cavity, and in the closed position, the door is extended outward of the respective housing relative to the open position. In the closed positions, the first and second doors combine to obstruct the front opening, and in the open positions, the first and second doors permit passage through the front opening.

DOOR OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM IN LAVATORY UNIT FOR AIRCRAFT

A powered door opening mechanism to move an aircraft lavatory door from the closed position to the open position is provided, which includes a non-contact sensor inside and outside the lavatory to detect part of a human body, an engaged member in the door and extending to an upper side of the door, an engaging member at a section on the upper side of the door inside the lavatory, engageable with the engaged member from a side of the door from the closed position of the door to the open position of the door, and having a shape that is open in a direction away from the door, and an actuator to move the engaging member in a direction away from the entrance in response to a detection signal from the non-contact sensor and move the door from the closed position to the open position through the engaged member.

Partition system

In a partition system partitions there are two or more doors, positioned in a common plane. Adjacent doors have angled sides that meet when the doors are closed. Each door is attached to a post or partition by a pair of hinges and is mounted so that there is a space adjacent each side surface of the doors when the front surfaces of those doors are parallel to the common plane. When the front surfaces of those doors are parallel to the common plane each door is mounted so that and any sight line through each space will intersect at least one of the spaced apart posts and the spaced apart partitions when the front surfaces of the doors are parallel to the common plane. The hinges may provide an axis of rotation that is inward from the edge of the door. The partitions are preferably mounted on frame members that have an L-shaped or inverted T-shaped cross-section. The partitions have a slot along one side which receives the upright portion of the frame members.
