METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROVIDING MAINTENANCE INFORMATION ON A DOOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE, AND DOOR SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A method providing maintenance information on a door system for a vehicle that includes reading detected process data with respect to a movement process of a door of the door system, the process data representing a current behavior of at least one drive element of the door system during the movement process, correlating the process data to a position curve of positions of the door during the movement process to generate a characteristic line of the current behavior of the at least one drive element at the positions of the door, comparing the characteristic line with a reference characteristic line which represents a target behavior of the at least one drive element at positions of the door to ascertain a deviation of the characteristic line from the reference characteristic line, and assigning the deviation to a sub-region of the position curve, which is divided into a plurality of sub-regions based on the involvement of different movement elements of the door system in different phases of the movement process of the door to determine the maintenance information.
Car door monitoring system and car door monitoring method
Even in a case where an external camera image-captures a door of a car, with high precision, it can be set to be determined whether or not a foreign substance inserted into the door is present. A monitoring apparatus acquires a camera image that results from a camera image-capturing the vicinity of a door of a car using an external camera, from a camera. A processor of the monitoring apparatus detects the door from the camera image, sets a determination area based on a position of the detected door, acquires an image of the determination area from the camera image, determines whether or not a foreign substance inserted into the door is present, based on the image of the determination area, and performs report outputting to a monitor and a reporting apparatus according to a result of the determination.
TOUCHLESS CONTROL SYSTEM
A control system includes a sensor system that may detect entry of a person into a detection curtain in front of a door, and a controller that may receive a first signal from the sensor system indicating the entry of the person into the detection curtain. The controller may determine a state of the door and generate a second signal responsive to receiving the first signal and while the state of the door indicates that the door can be opened. The control system also may include one or more actuators that may be coupled with the door and to open the door without the person touching the door responsive to receiving the second signal from the controller.
SECURITY STRIP FOR A DOOR AND METHOD OF OPERATING A SECURITY STRIP
The present disclosure concerns a safety strip for a door, in particular for a door of a means of transport. The safety strip is elastic and/or flexible, has at least one receiving space, and comprises a sensor arrangement. The sensor arrangement is set up to emit electromagnetic radiation into a monitored area and to receive such radiation from the monitored area. The sensor arrangement is arranged in the receiving space in such a way that the safety strip completely encloses the sensor arrangement at least in one plane.
Seal for a door, door and vehicle fitted with same
The invention relates to a seal including a body having a built-in chamber in which a switching element is arranged, and a lever for actuating the switching element. The lever can tilt relative to the body in two different directions. The range of movement and shape of the lever and/or the arrangement thereof relative to a wall of the chamber are such that the tilting of the lever, in a first of the different directions, does not deform the chamber, or does not deform same enough for the switching element to switch, and such that the tilting of the lever in the second direction deforms the chamber so that the switching element switches.
DOUBLE-LEAF DOOR DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A door device for the interior of a passenger transport vehicle, and a passenger transport vehicle having at least one door device. The device includes a double-leaf sliding door with a first door leaf and a second door leaf in one plane. The door device has an upper guide for the first door leaf and an upper guide for the second door leaf. The guides are parallel with one another, and at least the upper guide for the first door leaf is offset with respect to the plane of the first and the second door leaf.
Streetcar door system
A new door system and related technology for a passenger carrying rail vehicle, such as a President's Conference Committee (PCC) streetcar rail vehicle, and a method for retrofitting a rail vehicle door system with the new door system. In some embodiments, the new door system includes an electro-mechanical angle drive motor, a solid door control pivot rod, a door leaf panel clamp that is permanently connected to the solid door control pivot rod, a lever arm that includes a positive locking device and that is coupled to the solid door control pivot rod, and a connecting rod that is attached to the electro-mechanical angle drive motor and to the lever arm to enable the connecting rod to impart motion generated by the electro-mechanical angle drive motor to the lever arm.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ANALYZING A RAIL
A deployable measurement system for analyzing a rail of a railroad track includes a housing, a reflecting assembly coupled to the housing, a movement assembly coupled to the housing, and an optical measurement system disposed within the housing. Both the housing and the reflecting assembly are moveable between a stored position and a deployed position. The movement assembly includes a deployment assembly that moves the reflecting assembly from the stored position to the deployed position, and a retraction assembly that moves the reflecting assembly from the deployed position to the stored position. The optical measurement system emits and receives light. The reflecting assembly reflects the emitted light toward the rail. The reflecting assembly reflects light reflected off of the rail toward the optical measurement system. The light received by the optical measurement system is used to measure parameters related to the rail.
Movable body driving device
A movable body driving device includes upper and lower racks movable in a lengthwise direction; a motor which can rotate forward and backward; a drive pinion fixed to a rotary shaft of the motor; and a driven pinion engaging the upper and lower racks. The driven pinion is driven to rotate by the upper rack to thereby drive the lower rack linearly in a direction reverse to the upper rack. A sliding door is connected to the lower rack and is opened or closed in accordance with forward or backward rotation of the motor.
Passenger Communication Lighting
A passenger communication lighting display on or adjacent a touch bar on a passenger door of a transit vehicle comprises a display that can be controlled to display multiple colors continuous or blinking, and a control means causing the display to be dark when the door is closed, the display to be a first color when the operator has authorized opening, the display to flash a second color when the passenger has requested the door be opened, the display to be blinking the second color when the door is opening, the display to be continuously the second color when the door is resting in the open position, and the display to be blinking a third color while the door is closing.
