Pinch detection sensor
A pinch detection device, for detecting the occurrence of pinch during closing of one pair of sliding doors, is composed of a first door front edge rubber to be attached to an edge portion in a closing movement direction of one sliding door of the one pair of sliding doors, and a second door front edge rubber to be attached to an edge portion in a closing movement direction of an other sliding door of the one pair of sliding doors. The first door front edge rubber includes a recessed portion, which is open toward the second door front edge rubber, with a linear shape pressure sensitive sensor, which is sensitive to a pressure in the event of pinch, being disposed in that recessed portion.
Method and System for Detecting an Obstruction of a Passenger Door
A method of detecting an obstruction of a passenger door on a public transit vehicle comprising the steps of: recording the profile of the actuator (motor) current vs. door position following initiation of an opening or closing of the door; based on the recorded profile of actuator current vs. door position acceptable increase in motor current for one or more discrete positions following initiation of opening or closing the door indicative of no obstruction; and comparing an instant current profile to the acceptable increase and indicating a potential door obstruction if the current exceeds the acceptable increase.
Electric Door Monitoring
A method of monitoring the mechanical condition of a passenger door on a public transit vehicle wherein the door operator is a brushed direct current electrical motor and comprises the steps of: repeatedly recording a profile of the motor current vs. time following initiation of opening or closing of the door; based on previously recorded profiles establishing acceptable ranges of motor current for times following initiation of opening or closing the door; and comparing an instant motor current profile to the acceptable ranges and indicating a potential fault condition if the motor current is outside the acceptable ranges.
Plug door device
Provided is a small plug door device having a slide base is installed slidably in a vehicle width direction relative to a fixed base. A door drive mechanism for moving one door in a vehicle front-rear direction via a connecting portion has a drive portion including an electric motor, a drive wheel member, a follower wheel member, and an endless member, and is installed on the slide base. A guide portion guides a shaft portion provided on the connecting portion so as to move the shaft portion in a vehicle width direction. In a double-speed rail in which a pinion is disposed between two racks, one rack is connected to the slide base, the other rack is connected to the door side, and the pinion is connected to the connecting portion.
Railway vehicle plug door device and railway vehicle plug door
It is aimed to provide a railway vehicle plug door device capable of easily ensuring airtightness between a side structure body and a door leaf even if the railway vehicle plug door device is installed in a side structure body having a structure assembled by joining structural members by welding and including a bent part. A frame body is mounted on a part constituting an entrance in a side structure body by a mechanical fastening structure. A seal member is mounted on at least one of a door leaf and the frame body and held in close contact with both the door leaf and the frame body when the door leaf closes the entrance.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH SENSOR UNIT FOR CONTACTLESS PASSENGER COMPARTMENT MONITORING
A door system for a public transit vehicle includes least one door opening and a door that closes this door opening, wherein a sensor unit performs three-dimensional and touch-free scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of the door opening. A process of monitoring and controlling such a door system includes the steps of touch-free and three-dimensional scanning of a passenger compartment in the area of a door opening with a sensor unit, and measuring distances, shapes, and movements of objects by evaluating the readings from touch-free and three-dimensional scanning.
PLUG DOOR DEVICE
One object is to provide a plug door device that can make a contribution to a size reduction thereof, while suppressing a decrease in airtightness of a door. A plug door device is provided with an electric motor, a plug operation portion that moves a door in a width direction of a vehicle, a front-back operation portion that moves the door in a front-back direction of the vehicle, a movement suppressing portion that can suppress movement of the door in the front-back direction, and a planetary gear mechanism that distributes a drive force of the electric motor to the plug operation portion when movement of the door in the front-back direction is suppressed by the movement suppressing portion, and distributes a drive force of the electric motor to the front-back operation portion when movement of the door in the front-back direction is not suppressed by the movement suppressing portion.
PROTECTION DEVICE FOR A DOOR LEAF FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, AND DOOR DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A protection device for a door leaf for a motor vehicle includes a main body, a follower portion and a suspension element. The main body has a fastening side for fastening the main body to the door leaf and a sealing side opposite the fastening side. Furthermore, the main body comprises a first outer portion and a second outer portion. The first outer portion and the second outer portion run between the sealing side and the fastening side. The follower portion is arranged on the sealing side. The suspension element movably connects the follower portion to the main body and is designed to cause an evasive movement of the follower portion away from the fastening side in response to an application of force to the first outer side.
SLIDING DOOR
A sliding door has a brake element for braking the door leaf, an adjustment device configured to switch the brake element over from a braking position, in which the door leaf is being braked, to a release position, in which the door leaf is not being braked, and from the release position to the braking position, and a motor drive unit which is configured to cooperate with the adjustment device and to allow the brake element to be adjusted.
Clutch Mechanism Between Leadscrew and Electric Motor
A clutch mechanism for coupling and uncoupling an electric motor and leadscrew has dog-clutch gears that can be engaged by a linear actuator, bell crank, and linkage shaft. Uncoupling force due to narrowed dog teeth are resisted by the alignment of the linkage shaft with the central portion of the bell crank.
