SELF-VENTING WEEP HOOD FOR WATER MANAGEMENT OF FENESTRATION UNITS
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses, systems, and methods that include a sill, a head opposite the sill, a first jamb, and a second jamb opposite the first jamb forming a window cavity therebetween, the sill including a lower surface and an upper surface and one or more compartments therebetween; and a weep hood arranged in the sill and configured to allow water and air to exit the one or more compartments within the sill.
FENESTRATION PANEL AND TRIM RETENTION SYSTEM
Embodiments herein relate to systems and methods for securing panel members to frame members and fenestration systems including the same. In a first aspect, a fenestration system can be included having a panel assembly, a sill assembly, and one or more sill panel clips. The one or more sill panel clips can be disposed on a surface of the sill assembly such as an upper surface. The one or more sill panel clips can secure the panel assembly to the sill assembly. The fenestration system can also include a plurality of jamb members. The plurality of jamb members can include a first side jamb, a second side jamb, and a head jamb. The fenestration system can also include a plurality of jamb panel clips, wherein the plurality of jamb panel clips secure the panel assembly to the plurality of jamb members. Other embodiments are also included herein.
Frame assembly for windows and sliding doors
A frame assembly, for use in window and door applications configured to retain a panel, comprising a frame with a cover assembly and a support assembly having a track assembly, and a sill assembly and a header assembly both interconnected to a securing surface. The cover assembly is interconnected to the support assembly. The sill assembly comprises a roller member disposed in supporting relation to the track assembly, and the header assembly is disposed in supporting relation to the support assembly so that the frame is movable relative to both the header assembly and the sill assembly. At least a portion of the frame comprises a predetermined thickness and a predetermined width. The predetermined thickness is substantially less than the predetermined width so that both cooperatively and concurrently enhance viewing through the panel and the frame's stability.
Frame assembly
Systems and methods for providing a universal window frame assembly. A window frame assembly can include a plurality of frame members, wherein at least one of the frame members comprises a first profile frame member and at least one of the other frame members comprises a second profile frame member. The at least one first profile frame member and the at least one second profile frame member seat together to form the frame assembly. Head and side jamb members of a window frame can have a common first profile, and a sill jamb member can have a second profile. The frame members can be connected with corner keys configured to engage one or more openings in the first and second profiles. The sill jamb member can provide a sill slope angle.
EDGE PIECE AND WINDOW-EDGE PIECE COMPOSITE
The invention relates to an edge piece for a connection impermeable to driving rain in the region of window sill, window and facade. The edge piece has coupling elements which form a positive connection with complementary coupling elements of a window frame.
Building wall comprising stackable building blocks
A wall comprises building blocks with opposing like outer members spaced apart by at least two risers as cross members inward from outer member ends leaving a center open with a void between the outer members and the risers. The risers extend from the bottom of the block to above the outer member tops. A continuous tongue projects upward from the top of the outer members parallel thereto along the length of the outer member and mates with grooves along the bottom of a similar outer member stackable thereon for ease of block alignment. A next stacked block is nailed to the risers projecting into its center.
SILL CLEAT FOR FENESTRATION SYSTEMS
Embodiments herein relate to sill cleats for fenestration systems. In an embodiment, a fenestration system is included having a frame assembly including a sill with a bottom side. The bottom side can include a first edge projection, a second edge projection, and can define a cavity. The system can also include a sill cleat with a first angled surface configured to engage the first edge projection upon movement of the sill in a first direction. The sill cleat can also include a second angled surface disposed on an opposite side of the sill cleat from the first angled surface configured to engage the second edge projection upon movement of the sill in a second direction. Other embodiments are also included herein.
PREFABRICATED WINDOW SILL
A prefabricated window sill 10 suitable for external use comprises a closed cast outer shell 12 having at least an upper surface 16, a lower surface 18, a front surface 20, a rear surface 22 and first and second end surfaces 24, 26. The shell is made from a composite of a plastic polyester resin mixed with either crushed marble or crushed glass, with a catalyst which causes the resin to set; the shell being filled with an expanded plastics foam.
VERSATILE HYBRID WINDOW SYSTEM
An extrusion for a multiple configuration window base frame is disclosed. In one aspect, the frame includes a main body defining an interior-side surface and an opposite opening-side surface extending between first and second ends. To facilitate use with different window types, part or all of the opening-side surface can be formed in a parallel arrangement with the interior-side surface. The frame can include a first attachment arrangement located proximate the main body first end that is configured for attachment to one or more cladding members. In one aspect, the first attachment arrangement includes a first clip member having a first outer portion and a first inner portion that define a first female receiving area and having a first overhang portion extending at least partially across the female receiving area to enable a snap-fit connection between the main body and the cladding member.
FLUSH TO FLOOR SILL TRACK AND ASSEMBLY FOR SLIDING GLASS WINDOWS
A sill track for sliding panels such as doors or windows in a door jamb or window jamb. The sill track mounts flush to the surrounding floors and has an integrated drainage system for preventing water from penetrating the sill track. The sill track comprises a base having walls to support flooring, a panel track for receiving a guide of a panel, such as wheels of a sliding glass door, and a weep channel wall forming a weep channel for draining water to below a top surface of the sill track. The walls of the base, the panel track and the weep channel wall are configured such that the flooring installed on the sill track, the panel track and the top of the weep channel wall are all flush with the surrounding flooring on the interior and exterior of the sill track.
