Interlock assemblies for fenestration systems and methods
Interlock assemblies for sliding fenestration systems that provide for adjustment of the position and/or shape of the interlock assemblies and methods of adjusting the position and/or shape of the interlock assemblies are described herein. The interlock assemblies for sliding fenestration systems may be adjusted after installation to accommodate changes in the position and/or shape of the sides of building opening on which a stationary interlock structure is mounted.
Adjustable exercise device
An adjustable kettlebell or exercise device includes a handle device formed on a receptacle, and one or more weight members selectively engageable into the receptacle, and a control device includes a shaft engaged through the receptacle and engageable through the weight members for selectively anchoring either of the weight members to the receptacle with the shaft. The weight members each include a bore for engaging with the shaft, and an opening communicating with the bore of the weight members, and the shaft includes one or more pins engageable through the openings of the weight members for selectively engaging with the weight members.
Water management systems for fenestration products
A flashing includes a first edge, a second edge opposite from the first edge, a first surface, and a second surface on an opposite side of the flashing from the first surface. The first surface and the second surface extend between the first edge and the second edge. The first surface includes a hydrophobic region and a hydrophilic region.
Window assembly and pre-fabricated wall panel
A window installation and a wall panel and methods for construction thereof. The window installation includes a window liner in which a window unit can be installed. The window liner includes jambs, a header, and a sill that circumscribe the window unit and an exterior flange that depends outwardly from external edges thereof. The wall panel is a prefabricated panel that includes framing with sheathing and insulating members disposed on an exterior surface thereof and forms an opening in which the window liner is received. An external sheathing of the wall panel is formed with a larger opening dimensioned to receive the exterior flange of the window liner. The window liner and window unit can be removed from the wall panel to ease movement and transport of the wall panel and to reduce risks of breaking the window unit during manufacture and transport.
STIFFENER FOR STRUCTURAL MEMBERS OF WINDOWS
A stiffener for, and a method of, stiffening a structural member of a window are disclosed. The structural member has first and second ends thermally separated from each other. The stiffener comprises a first stiffener end configured to engage with the first end and spaced apart from the second end, and a second stiffener end configured to engage with the second end and spaced apart from the first end. An insulating stiffener coupler couples the first stiffener end to the second stiffener end to hinder thermal bridging of the first stiffener end and the second stiffener end. The method includes engaging frictionally the first extrusion with a first stiffener structure, engaging frictionally the second extrusion with a second stiffener structure, and coupling the first stiffener structure and the second stiffener structure to each other using an insulating stiffener.
Sill pan
A method for forming a sill pan is provided that includes the measurement of a width and length of an opening sill to be sealed. A piece of flexible sill pan material is cut based on the measured opening sill. Fold lines and cuts are created in the piece to form the sill pan. The resulting sill pan is readily formed to have at least one attribute of self-adherence, draining without shims, nail hole self-sealing, and provision of dams without resort to frame cutting.
WINDOW PAN DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A system and components for a window pan water dam system is disclosed. The object of the invention is to deflect water from the window base sill plate back towards the exterior drainage plain of the building envelope, thus ensuring water ingress does not occur through the sill pan area and the side walls of the opening.
DEVICE FOR FASTENING A PREFERABLY PLANAR OBJECT TO A CONSTRUCTION
A device for fastening a planar object to a construction, including a first holding element and a second holding element which can be interlockingly connected to the first holding element. The first holding element, which can be connected to the construction or to the object or is an integral part of the construction or of the object, has a C- or U-shaped inner profile, in that the second holding element, which can be connected to the object or the construction or is an integral part of the object or the construction, has a C- or U-shaped outer profile, and in that the C- or U-shaped outer profile can be interlockingly accommodated in the inner profile and can be clamped against the inner profile by means of a clamping element.
WINDOW SECURITY DEVICE
A window security device includes a pull handle, the pull handle defining a tongue slot extending through the pull handle from a top paddle surface to a bottom paddle surface; and a locking bar slidably attached to the pull handle, a locking bar body of the locking bar positioned adjacent to the bottom paddle surface, a tongue of the locking bar extending through the tongue slot.
Water draining spandrel assembly and insulated panel window walls
A window wall assembly including an insulated panel having at least one hole; at least one spacer located between and abutting a first portion of an outside of the insulated panel and an inside of an architectural fascia panel; at least one layer of nonconducting material connected to the at least one spacer and sandwiched between a second portion of the outside of the insulated panel and the inside of the architectural fascia panel; and a first fastener having a hollow inner section inserted into the at least one hole which has threading on the inside, an outer section having threading on the outside and extending into the layer of nonconducting material; and a flange located between the inner section and outer section of the first fastener and having a greater lateral dimension than the radius of the at least one hole.
