Truck tailgate locking system
A lock assembly for use in a vehicle lock, such as on a truck tailgate. The lock assembly includes a single key cylinder which can concurrently control the locked/unlocked state of one or more door handles, thus rendering multiple handles simultaneously locked or unlocked. Such a lock assembly may provide manual control of access to a pickup truck bed, independently of the vehicle battery, thereby permitting the driver access even if the vehicle battery is dead.

ARRANGEMENT OF A DOOR AND CAVITY FOR AN ARTICLE OF FURNITURE
An arrangement has a furniture door, in particular a fold-sliding-door, and a chamber-formed, cavity for accommodating the furniture door. The arrangement includes a mechanical drive device for moving the furniture door between a, preferably fully, countersunk position within the cavity and a position outside of the cavity. The drive device is configured so as to move the furniture door, starting from the, preferably fully, countersunk position within the cavity into the position outside of the cavity.
Shutter Within a Shutter and Methods for Forming Same
A shutter assembly includes a frame, at least one shutter panel coupled to the frame and configured to pivot about a first axis, and at least one louvered subpanel hinged to the shutter panel and configured to pivot about a second axis, wherein the first axis is not parallel to the second axis.
Arrangement for guiding a sliding door or folding-sliding door on a furniture wall
An arrangement includes a first guide system to be fixed to a furniture wall and a second guide system to be fixed to the furniture wall a vertical distance from the first guide system. Each of the two guide systems has a guide and a guide body displaceably arranged on the guide, a carrier to which the sliding door or folding-sliding door can be fixed, and a cable pulling device for compensating for a tilting moment of the carrier. The cable pulling device includes a first pulling cable arranged between the guide body of the first guide system and an end of the guide of the first guide system and without connection to the second guide system. A second pulling cable is between the guide body of the second guide system and an end of the guide of the second guide system and without connection to the first guide system.
Animal enclosure with dual door assembly
An animal enclosure including a plurality of members defining an interior of the enclosure. One of the plurality of members includes a first member having a frame structure and door assembly formed by a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. At least two of the horizontal wires of the frame structure form a hook positioned inside the defined opening. The door assembly is coupled to the frame and moves between an open and closed positions. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door removably coupled to one another. The enclosure also includes a latch assembly for releasing the door assembly from the frame structure. In the closed position, at least one horizontal wire of the first door and at least one horizontal wire of the second door are coupled to the hooks formed by the at least two horizontal wires of the frame structure.
Insulated Doors With Restorable Breakaway Sections
Insulated doors with restorable breakaway sections are disclosed. An example door includes a first panel assembly including a leading panel and a trailing panel. The leading panel is to be in substantially coplanar alignment with the trailing panel when the first panel assembly is in a normal configuration. The leading panel is to be angularly displaced out of coplanar alignment with the trailing panel when the first panel assembly is in a dislodged configuration. The example door further includes a tension member to connect the leading panel to the trailing panel. The tension member is to resiliently urge the leading panel and the trailing panel toward each other in a horizontal direction. The tension member is to resiliently urge the first panel assembly toward the normal configuration when the first panel assembly is in the dislodged configuration.
"T" Top Step Store Gate
The non-rigid gate device as described may be useful in many application for the general public; gateways in parks, special events, entries to open type office or business building, also large flee-markets often have rigid gates, problems with latches, Other possibilities exist; such as onboard a ship or pleasure boats whereas rigid purpose gates are sometimes left open, this gate is freely placed in a tapered receiver bracket or placed open with the free end resting on a solid surface, rigid gates slam violently in stormy conditions, The non-rigid gate device may be built of metal with a rubber foot to rest on hard surfaces. This gate may be automatically latched when it is placed in a receiver bracket with the auto locking device of this patent application. This invention could be used at airports, parks and welcome centers; or as a garden gate, whereby obstacles often block rigid gates from opening; the inventor foresees many possibilities beyond the stairway use for this non-rigid gate.
TILT AND TURN OR FIXED FRAME WINDOW WITH APPEARANCE OF TRADITIONAL SINGLE-HUNG OR DOUBLE-HUNG WINDOW FROM EXTERIOR
In a tilt and turn or fixed frame window, a meeting rail unit is provided in the sash unit, dividing the sash unit vertically into an upper sash portion and a lower sash portion, the meeting rail unit having an upper portion for securing an upper glazing unit in the upper sash portion, and a lower portion for securing a lower glazing unit in the lower sash portion. An upper glazing unit secured in the upper sash portion of the sash unit, and a lower glazing unit secured in the lower sash portion of the sash unit. The meeting rail unit is configured to provide an offset between the upper glazing unit and the lower glazing unit in a direction perpendicular to the horizontal axis and to the vertical axis. An outside surface of the upper sash portion and an outside surface of the lower sash portion lie on the same plane.
ASSEMBLY FOR SPREADING APART AT LEAST TWO HINGEDLY INTERCONNECTED DOOR LEAVES
An arrangement for spreading apart at least two door leaves which are part of an item of furniture and are hingedly interconnected, from a folded position into a spread-apart position, comprising an energy accumulator and a spreading element which is impinged by the energy accumulator, wherein the spreading element comprises a pivotally supported lever arm with a free end, and a control contour is provided for controlling movement of the spreading element.
