Wall systems and buildings having such wall systems are disclosed. Such wall systems include parametric mullions each of which is constructed from a plurality of interconnecting components so that the wall systems may be disposed much closer to the building frame than conventional wall systems. Such wall systems may include panels disposed to form convex or concave facades. Such wall systems may also include decorative features superimposed over one or more panels or extending outward from the facade surface. The parametric mullions may be formed into trusses which may be used as part of a wall system or independently of such wall systems.

TOGGLE INSERT FOR RECEIVING A TOGGLE ASSEMBLY IN A STEEL CURTAIN WALL STRUCTURE

A toggle insert for receiving a toggle assembly in a steel curtain wall structure is disclosed. The toggle insert is a self-leveling profile requiring no welding for fastening to steel curtain wall structure and further provides a screw tolerance of up to 1 inch for locating and fastening toggle screws during installation of glazing elements to the steel curtain wail structure. The toggle insert includes a horizontal section having a front portion, an intermediate portion and a bottom portion, wherein the front portion includes a central elongated opening measuring between 21 mm and 25 mm sandwiched on either sides by slotted screw race and a pair of threaded set screws for leveling into the slotted screw race that fixes the toggle insert by way of wedging into the steel curtain wall structure.

Curtain wall and wall element thereby applied and method for manufacturing such a wall element

A curtain wall constructed from prefabricated connecting wall elements mounted in rows next to and above each other with the wall elements including a frame of assembled profiles on the inside of the curtain wall and of one or more infill elements on the outside of the curtain wall. The frame contains mullions and transoms in the form of profiles which along the perimeter of the frame have female coupling parts and male coupling parts which allow the adjacent mullions and adjacent transoms in an assembled condition in the curtain wall to engage with their coupling parts to form composite basic profiles, where between two rows of connecting wall elements a horizontal seal has been applied which extends continuously in a horizontal direction over the width of the underlying row.
