HOLLOW ACRYLIC SOLID SURFACE SEAMLESS DOOR

A hollow man sized door includes a core and an acrylic outer surface. The acrylic outer surface is seamless and solid. Mounting brackets are selectively attached to the core. Hardware is attached to the door at locations of the mounting bracket. Scratches or damage may be buffed out of or wiped from the acrylic outer surface.

Lighted interface

A lighted door system includes a door having a frame defining a hinge side, an opposite distal side, a top, and a bottom. The frame has a front face, a back face, and inside face, an outside face, and a groove formed in at least one of the front face, the back face, the inside face, and the outside face. At least one lighting device is coupled to the door frame. The at least one lighting device includes a housing and a flange extending from the housing. The flange is received into the groove in the door frame to couple the at least one lighting device to the door frame.

Double door gate apparatus

A double door gate apparatus having a frame, a main gate and a secondary gate, where the apparatus includes the unique features of a) a latch apparatus between uppermost framework members of the main gate and secondary gate, b) the latch apparatus being weighted to return to a normally closed position, c) each of the main gate and secondary gates having an inverted U-shaped piece engaging the bottommost horizontal member such that each of the main and secondary gates need to be lifted prior to being opened and prior to being closed, and d) a pair of hand wheels on a common shaft that work together to space the double door gate apparatus a desired distance from a vertical surface such as a wall.

Composite door systems are provided for use in a protective barrier structure. The composite door systems provide for quick assembly, safety, security, and resistance to physical impacts or threats. The composite door systems may include a shell and a core that can be factory completed or finished on site. The shell may be shipped to the assembly location of the barrier structure, and the core may be formed on site by pouring liquid fill material into a cavity of the shell, which is allowed to cure into a solid fill material. Hardware housings may be operatively coupled to the shell that are made to receive door hardware but resist the liquid full material from filling the hardware housings. The shell, core, and/or hardware housings may provide resistance to damage, such as projectiles to provide enhanced security protection to the occupants or contents of the building structure.

DOORS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING TELEGRAPHING THEREFOR

This invention relates to doors having internal blocking components that reduce or eliminate telegraphing of the outer surface of the door facings. In particular, the invention relates to steel-edge steel doors that have internal solid wood blocks that have one or more integral cantilever beams formed into the blocks to interact with the adjoined oppositely arranged door facings in order to eliminate visually apparent door telegraphing. The blocks are modified to contain notches formed therein to form the cantilever beams.
