Insulated door panels
Example insulated pliable door panels or curtains include various internal vapor barriers. The vapor barriers have a relatively high water vapor transmission rate that inhibits water vapor from permeating through the door panel. With such vapor barriers, outer sheets of the door panel can be made of polyurethane or other tough materials that might have an inadequate water vapor transmission rate. In some examples, the vapor barrier encircles or encloses a thermally insulating pad. In some examples, the door panel includes a sleeve or pocket that holds the vapor barrier in place. Some examples include means for draining water that might condense within the door panel.

Air seal for a liftable closure
A portal structure has an air seal device including an air sealing element movable between a lowered and a raised configuration. The portal structure has a compartment for storing the closure element, delimited by a front wall. A space is provided which communicates with the compartment and with the outer environment between the wall and the closure element. The air seal device includes first and second sealing members adapted to reach a facing position in which they adhere by magnetic attraction to close the space, one connected to the wall for supporting a ferromagnetic plate, the other consisting of a magnetic member fixed to the closure element. The first sealing member includes a base structure which can be fixed to said wall by first and second adjustable fasteners in a position corresponding to the position of the sealing member fixed to the surface of the closure element.
Inflatable golf studio
A portable inflatable golf studio including an arcuate shaped roof panel, first and second side panels, a floor panel, a front panel, a back panel, a projector screen, a projector, and a tracking system. The first and second side panels are positioned parallel from one another and are attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel, wherein one of the first and second side panels defines a cavity configured to receive a television monitor. The floor panel configured to connect the first and second side panels to one another. The front panel removable attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. The back panel positioned parallel to the front panel and attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. Each panel includes one or more of inflatable sections.
Deployable sandwich-like shell structural system
One embodiment of a deployable structural system having sandwich-like shell stiffness and strength properties is constructed of an outer elastic sheet and an inner elastic sheet connected by a number of substantially rigid webs wherein hinges constitute the connections. The hinge connection spacing dimensions on the inner and outer elastic sheets differ such that the resulting assemblage may be elastically bent into a compact cylindrical configuration. Deployment is achieved through reversal of the bending process and application of sufficient external restraints such that the deployed configuration is structurally stable. Additional application embodiments are described.
Method and apparatus for establishing an environmentally isolated volume
A method and apparatus are provided for at least partially environmentally isolating a volume, such as by environmentally isolating the cargo compartment from the passenger compartment of an aircraft. In the context of an apparatus, a barrier curtain is provided that partially defines the volume. The apparatus also includes a cable extending along one or more walls that partially define the volume. The barrier curtain is supported by the cable. The apparatus may also include a cable release mechanism. The cable is held in place by the cable release mechanism and the cable release mechanism is configured to detach the cable at a predetermined load, thereby permitting the barrier curtain to drop in response to a decompression event.
