Two piece window edge corner system and method for installation
A break-in resistant window assembly whose components include a window pane having at least a pair of edges and a corner; a frame boarding the window pane; a sheet of polymeric film overlying the pane, a first adhesive layer fixedly interconnecting the pane and the sheet of polymeric film; and a corner assembly which includes a base portion and a cover portion which are able to be mechanically locked to each other to complete a corner assembly. The base portion includes adhesive pads for bonding both to the corner of the window pane and the corner of the window frame. Trim pieces which abut the base portion are also bonded to the window pane and the window frame by adhesive pads. The cover portion is arranged to extend over the abutting ends of the base portion and the trim pieces and thereby conceal any mismatch between those abutting edges.
Security panel framing system and method
A security panel framing system having a base frame; a base plate under a base frame bottom side, the base plate having a stopper; a hollow inner channel defined by the base frame; a wedge having a wedge top side, and a wedge bottom side; a wedge wall extending between the wedge top side and the wedge bottom side; a reinforced end at the wedge bottom side; wherein the reinforced end and a bottom wedge lip are configured to be held in place by the stopper; a cap configured to be associated with the wedge; and wherein the wedge is configured to sit at a base plate front side leaving a gap between the wedge back side and the base frame, the gap being configured to receive a security panel, such that the security panel is snugly encased by the base frame and the wedge.
Building security assembly
A building security assembly includes a vestibule that may be attached to an entrance of an institution and the vestibule has an entrance and an exit. A first door is hingedly coupled to the vestibule to open and close the entrance. A second door is hingedly coupled to the vestibule to open and close the exit. A metal detection array is positioned within the vestibule to detect metal components of a firearm. A security unit is coupled to the vestibule and is in electrical communication with the metal detection array. The security unit locks each of the first and second doors when the metal detection array detects the metal components of the firearm to inhibit the individual from bringing the firearm into the institution.

Hardened operable window systems and methods
Blast, ballistic, and entry resistant operable window systems include a sliding exterior glazing panel assembly, a sliding interior glazing panel assembly, an exterior frame assembly that receives the sliding exterior glazing panel assembly, an interior frame assembly that receives the sliding interior glazing panel assembly, an exterior gasket for placement between the exterior frame assembly and the wall of the building, a central gasket for placement between the exterior frame assembly and the interior frame assembly, and an interior gasket for placement between the interior frame assembly and the wall of the building. Methods of installation in a wall of a building are also provided.
Antiballistic window retrofitting apparatus and method
A system and method for retrofitting installed thermal windows to provide anti-ballistic properties to the windows by using a portable system for filling gaps in the windows with an anti-ballistic material that may or may not be cured. Also provided is an optional capability to add controllable tinting capability to these retrofitted windows.
Security door
A stile and rail ballistic security door containing bullet proof materials within a metal or synthetic material frame including a plurality of window panes and thermal break means to eliminate condensation problems therein. The door contains a multi-layer exterior core providing extra strength and rigidity.

Customizable Glass Wall System with Partitioned Film
A customizable glass wall system is disclosed. The system comprises at least two glazed, transparent panes mounted to a frame, creating an internal space less than approximately five inches thick. At least one upper roller is mounted to an upper portion of the frame, preferably on a removable headboard, and at least one lower roller is mounted to a lower portion of the frame, preferably to a removable tailboard. At least one partitioned film is attached to the upper and lower rollers. The partitioned film has partitions with varied properties and functions, ranging from thermal insulation to decoration, which can be selectively positioned behind the transparent panes by rotating the partitioned film by means of the rollers until a selected partition of film is displayed. The system can be automated based on time, weather, amount of sunlight, or user preference, and it may include window coverings or solar cells.
