Security door hinge assembly
A security door hinge assembly is provided, comprising a door frame structure, having at least a head member, a first jamb member and a second jamb member, and at least one door leaf. The door leaf further comprises a leaf frame structure, having at least a top rail member, a bottom rail member, a hinge stile member and a lock stile member; an inner leaf panel, mounted to a first side of said leaf frame structure and extending past said hinge stile member, so as to form an inner leaf flange; an outer leaf panel, mounted to a second side of said leaf frame structure, opposite said first side, and extending past said hinge stile member, so as to form an outer leaf flange, and wherein, in use, said door leaf is operable between a first closed position and a second open position. The security door hinge assembly further comprises a hinge chamber positioned between said first jamb member and said hinge stile; a hinge-mount bracket, coupled to said first jamb member; a hinge mechanism, having at least one pivot axis and which is located within said open hinge chamber and adapted to pivotally mount said door leaf to said hinge-mount bracket, and wherein, in said first closed position, said inner leaf flange is in an exteriorly overlapping engagement with at least a portion of said hinge mount bracket, so as to prevent access to said hinge mechanism.
Window Security Assembly
A window security assembly includes a plurality of first brackets that is each mountable on a window in a wall of a building. A plurality of second brackets is each mountable on the window in the wall of the building. A plurality of fasteners is each extended through a respective one of the apertures in a respective one of the first brackets and the second brackets. In this way the first brackets and the second brackets are coupled to the window. A panel is positionable in the first brackets and the second brackets when the first brackets and the second brackets are positioned on the window. The panel is comprised of an impact resistant material to inhibit an intruder from gaining access through the window.

SMART ENTRYWAY
A smart entryway includes an entrance door assembly configured to allow users (e.g., residents) to enter and exit a first space (e.g., a residence) and a storage assembly configured to allow secondary users (e.g., deliverymen) in a second space (e.g., a porch) to store items for later retrieval by the users. A portion of the storage assembly may be optionally refrigerated or heated. A security assembly is provided between the entrance door assembly and the storage assembly. The security assembly includes an authentication device to authenticate users and secondary users and a locking device to unlock the storage assembly and the entrance door assembly upon authentication. The locking device is provided behind the authentication device and concealed from the second space. When a first door of the storage assembly accessible from the first space is opened, a second door of the storage assembly accessible from the second space is locked.

Frame assembly for windows and sliding doors
A frame assembly, for use in window and door applications configured to retain a panel, comprising a frame with a cover assembly and a support assembly having a track assembly, and a sill assembly and a header assembly both interconnected to a securing surface. The cover assembly is interconnected to the support assembly. The sill assembly comprises a roller member disposed in supporting relation to the track assembly, and the header assembly is disposed in supporting relation to the support assembly so that the frame is movable relative to both the header assembly and the sill assembly. At least a portion of the frame comprises a predetermined thickness of about 1 and 3/16 inches and a predetermined width of about 2 and inches. The predetermined thickness is substantially less than the predetermined width so that both cooperatively and concurrently enhance viewing through the panel and the frame's stability.
Door reinforcement apparatus
An apparatus that can be installed on an existing door to provide improved security. The apparatus has first and second door brackets that are installed on the interior and exterior surfaces of the door, respectively, and together increase the strength of the door in the region near the door handle and/or deadbolt. The apparatus also has a door frame bar that is installed on the door frame opposing a vertical outside edge of the door and one or more door hinge bars that are mounted on the interior surface of the door near one or more door hinges. The apparatus can optionally have a reinforcing bar.
SECURITY DOOR SYSTEM
A security door system includes a door frame, a door, and an astragal. The door frame has first and second vertically extending side members that define an opening therebetween. The door is disposed within the opening and is secured to the frame via a hinged connection along the first vertically extending side member. A gap is defined between an edge of the door, that is opposite the hinged connection, and the second vertically extending side member when the door is in a closed position. The astragal has first and second plates that are secured to an outer surface of the door. The first plate extends beyond the edge such that the first plate covers the gap when the door is in the closed position. The second plate extends from the first plate in a direction away from the edge and toward the hinged connection.
System and method for a security film
A system and method for a security glass system. The system includes a pane of glass and a security film adhered to the glass. A bracket has a glass coupler portion, a gap definer, and a support coupler. The glass coupler is adhered to the security film via an adhesive. The support coupler is adhered to the support via an adhesive. The result is a securement system which can withstand more blows than traditional glass.
SECURITY DOOR MOUNTING ARRANGEMENT
A security door mounting arrangement for a safe (10) including a substantially rectangular-shaped block for the body (20), having a base (22), a rear wall (in the direction (23), a pair of side walls (24) and a top (25), all defining the cavity (21), and an opening (in the direction (26)) defined by a door jamb (27). A hinged door (40) includes a locking assembly (60), including a crank assembly (62). The crank assembly (62) includes a central crank (63) comprising a disc plate substantially parallel-planar with a main panel of the door (40). The crank (63) is operable by a handle installed on the front face of the door (40). The handle and the central crank are rotatable together coaxially and about a common axis A.
