HARDWARE PREPARATION FILLER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FIRE RATED DOORS
A method and system for achieving compliance for a fire-rated door assembly. To comply with fire rated door assembly codes and compliance, all components, including hardware must be listed and labeled by a certification agency, such as Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The disclosure may include a hardware preparation filler solution which allows fire-rated doors to maintain fire rating and compliance when removing or modifying hardware, or converting between hardware types.

Fire rated door
A closure may include a door configured to seal an opening. The door may include a section with an internal cavity. The closure may also include a core within a first portion of the internal cavity of the section. The core may be configured to expand from a relaxed state to an expanded state and provide a seal between the door and an edge of the opening when the core is in the expanded state.

Fire-rated elevator door frame and transom flush with door
Some examples provide a fire-rated elevator door frame assembly with a flush transom. The transom includes a transom assembly. A fire-rated partition sits behind the transom on the hoistway side of the elevator doors. Architectural cladding can be applied to the front of the transom and to the front of the elevator doors giving the appearance that the flush transom extends high above the elevator doors.
Fire resistant door cores, door skins, and doors including the same
A door has a core that includes a first major surface having one or more first recesses, a second major surface opposite to the first major surface, and fire retardant material such as intumescent material applied to the first recesses and no more than about 20 percent by surface area of a remainder of the first major surface excluding the first recesses. A door skin includes an interior surface, an exterior surface, at least one contoured panel portion establishing a protrusion extending on the interior surface and an opposite depression extending into the exterior surface, and fire retardant material such as intumescent material applied to at least one of the protrusion or the depression and no more than about 20 percent by surface area of the remainders of the interior surface excluding the protrusion and the exterior surface excluding the depression.

CONSTRUCTION AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A CONSTRUCTION
Structures, particularly wall and/or pillar structure, comprising a supporting portion and a covering portion for covering the supporting portion, the supporting portion being provided by solid material pieces and at least one string for jamming at least some of the solid material pieces, wherein the covering portion comprises at least one covering device and wherein the string and the covering device are attached to each other.

FIRE-PROTECTION ROLLING DOOR
In order to develop a fire-protection rolling door of the type in question such that the fire resistance duration and thermal insulation are improved and increased and in particular heat transfer points extending through the door are avoided, a fire-protection rolling door is proposed which is composed of: —a rolling-door armor of profiled plates which interconnected in an articulated manner; —a sheet-shaped intermediate layer of fire-retardant and thermally insulating material; and—overlapping cover plates, which fire-protection rolling door is held, in the open state, above an opening to be closed in the event of a fire, such that the fire-protection rolling door can be guided in guide rails disposed on both sides, the sheet-shaped intermediate layer having planar carrier segments, which are covered with at least one layer of fire-retardant and thermally insulating material on both sides.
