Sash lock and tilt latch also functioning as a window vent stop, with automatic locking upon closure
A sash window fastener includes: a latch assembly; a sash lock assembly mounted upon the meeting rail; and a stop member mounted to the master window frame. The lock assembly includes a pivotable cam to engage a keeper on the master frame to lock the window, and a pivotable follower arm. The arm interconnects with the latch assembly within the meeting rail, so cam rotation that drives arm rotation also causes translation of the latch. The cam may occupy: an extended position to secure the cam to the keeper, with the latch engaging the master frame to prevent tilting, and being positioned below a protrusion on the stop member to redundantly lock the window; a first retracted cam position permitting sliding of the window; and a second retracted position permitting tilting of the sash window. Additional protrusions may be used on the stop member to serve as vent stop positions.
Window unit air conditioner installer and support rod
An adjustable assembly for installing and supporting a window unit air conditioner (WUAC) allowing a one-step easy installation and removal. The apparatus has two U-shaped horizontal member and one U-shaped vertical member that utilize the window frame and the weight of the WUAC, to install and keep the WUAC in place. The assembly fits behind and unto the spine of the WUAC as well as across the width of the WUAC. When lifted in place, the assembly fits against the window frame using gravity to securely keep the WUAC in place. The assembly may be used alone or in combination with the horizontal support member and/or the vertical member depending on the weight of the WUAC. The second U-shaped member is placed around both sides and the rear of the installed WUAC with the flange supported against the inner window frame. Using tension force, this provides support for the extruding WUAC. The vertical U-shaped member extends from the sides of the horizontal member and traverses the bottom of the WUAC to give support.
PORTABLE WINDOW INSERT FOR UTILITY DISTRIBUTION
Several embodiments of a portable window insert for the temporary distribution of utilities, e.g., heat, air-conditioning, electricity, internet cables, water, and telephone cables through a window opening are described. All the devices are foldable for ease of portability and can be expanded to be secured in the window opening while minimizing air leakage through the window. In one embodiment a main panel has a pass-through opening through the panel for the utility lines, a handhold opening and a slider panel slidably engaged with the main panel. A flexible sealing member surrounds the pass through opening. A sealing panel is slidably mounted to the rear face of the main panel that may be selectively positioned to cover the pass-through opening or to uncover the pass-through opening. When the slider panel is in a retracted position the pass-through opening is covered by the slider panel and the hand hold is exposed for use and ease of portability. When the slider panel is in the extended position the edges of the main panel and slider panel abut the sides of the window opening to secure the portable window insert in the window opening and to expose the pass-through opening for use. The sealing panel may be selectively positioned to cover the pass-through opening to inhibit the passage of air and utility lines there through or to uncover the pass-through opening to permit the passage of utility lines there through.

GARAGE DOOR VENTILATION SYSTEMS
A ventilation element attachable to a lower portion of a sectional garage door for enabling a ventilation condition of the garage door in a partially open position. The ventilation element provides a peripheral frame dimensioned and shaped to mimic a lower section of the sectional garage door. The peripheral frame enables a plurality of filters to be removably nested therein. The peripheral frame is movably attached to the interior surface of the garage door by a plurality of travel bars fixed thereto; a complementary number of grip brackets are attached to the peripheral frame so that the peripheral frame is moveable between a retracted position and an extended position disposing the peripheral frame below a bottom elevation of the garage door so that when the garage door is in the partially open position, the peripheral frame and nested filters established a ventilation barrier between the garage door and the driveway.
Replacement Window Panel With Air Conditioner Coupling
A window replacement panel including an air conditioning vent incorporated into it. A window assembly may be attached to a decorative panel with a vent disposed on a first side, and a coupling for an AC duct on an opposite side. The window may be a single, double pane, insulated, uninsulated or the like. The panel may be clad with material to harmonize with the building exterior, and the exterior vent presents a pleasing appearance. The combination of window and panel may be sized to replace an existing window, or may be used in new construction.

DRY OPEN WINDOW (DOW) APPARATUS
An environmental window apparatus includes at least two dry open window (DOW) assemblies stacked on top of each other. Each DOW assembly includes a dry open window (DOW) structure having a plurality of louvers which, when viewed in cross section, have V or W shapes that enable air to pass through a window opening while limiting passage of precipitation, the precipitation being captured by the louvers for collection or drainage and a plurality of vertical members supporting the louvers in a spaced apart arrangement. A plurality of vertical rods are fixed to the vertical members of each DOW assembly by fasteners in a spaced apart arrangement to hold the DOW assemblies in place.
AIR CONDITIONER WITH WINDOW CONNECTION
A connector to fit in a window gap, the connector having a generally elongated shape and having two parts being slidable in relation to each other. The connector includes an air-inlet adapted to receive air from an air conditioner and an air outlet. The two parts include a body and a telescopic part and the connector is adapted to be manipulated to be in: a first state where the body and the telescopic part can be moved in relation to each other in a length direction of the connector, or a second state where the body and the telescopic part are locked in relation to each other in a length direction of the connector by a locking mechanism.
