L-SHAPED METAL MESH DOOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An L-shaped metal mesh door and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The metal mesh door includes an L-shaped metal mesh and a strip-shaped metal engagement slot. Two metal engagement slots are connected at a corner through L-shaped metal members inserted into a cavity of the metal engagement slot. The metal mesh is embedded in the metal engagement slot. The manufacturing method includes following steps. Manufacturing the metal mesh material by folding a metal mesh material into a 90 L shape. Manufacturing the metal engagement slot chamfering the two metal engagement slots by 45 at the corner, assembling the metal engagement slots through the L-shaped metal members inserted into the square cavity, and then fixing them with screws. Embedding the metal mesh fixedly in the engaging opening of the metal engagement slot, and filling a plastic soft strip in the circular cavity for fixing.
Garage Door Window
This invention is directed toward an adjustable window for a garage door panel, where the window has an interior frame and an exterior frame. Both the interior and exterior frame have straight members that are secured to each other through the parts of the garage door that surround the opening with screws and screw receptacles. Connecting the frame members are adjustable corner braces that come in a variety of designs, with some being invisible after installation and others forming a decorative corner to the window.
Security screen mounting system and method therefor
A mounting system and method for security screens for use with double-hung windows and other windows having an integral screen track is disclosed. The mounting system and method according to the present invention reduces materials cost for manufacture of security screens while improving aesthetics of the installation and allowing installation to be accomplished from the interior side of the window, and permits installation of security screens either at the construction site or during window manufacture, while preserving the window manufacturer's warranty. Exemplary embodiments both with and without a subframe are described.
Flexible hurricane window panel installable from inside a building
A hurricane panel system on the outside of an opening that can be installed from inside a multiple story building, through an open window without requiring tools of any type or outside assistance. This panel system includes a pliable, fabric, polyester panel that has a pair of parallel, vertical hems each containing a hem cord that are sized in diameter to fit into a pair of parallel, vertical or horizontal tracks connected to the outside of the building adjacent a window. The pliable, fabric panel includes one or more fabric straps that can be used to manipulate the panel in and out of the tracks. One or more locking pins are used to secure the panel in place relative to the tracks.
SLIDING SCREEN DOOR SYSTEM
A sliding screen door system is presented for selectively closing an opening of a vehicle having a fixed screen frame and a sliding screen frame that are connected to one another by a pair of linear slides having an interior member, an exterior member and a center member that facilitate linear sliding of the sliding screen frame relative to the fixed screen frame. The connection of the sliding screen frame to the fixed screen frame with these linear slides suspends the sliding screen frame within the opening of the vehicle thereby eliminating the need for upper and lower rails the encumber the entryway into the vehicle. The sliding screen frame includes a moveable member that accommodates a closing mechanism of the door when it closes thereby allowing the sliding screen frame to be closed when the rear door is closed without causing damage to the sliding screen door.
Retrofitable retractable screen system
A retrofitable retractable screen system for use with windows or doors. Instead of using a spring based tensioning arrangements to rewind the screen onto the roller assembly, the arrangement uses a pulley located on the spindle, around which is wrapped a cord. A guide assembly guides the cord around a tension adjustment arrangement that adjusts the tension in the cord as the screen is wound and unwound from the spindle to provide a smooth mechanism to extend and retract the screen. When the screen is extended, pushing the edge of the screen to force retraction of the screen is translated into a pulling action on the cord to unwind the cord off a pulley, which drives rotation of the spindle to wind the screen back on. Conversely, pulling the distal edge to extend the screen rotates the spindle and pulley to wind the cord back onto the pulley.
INSECT SCREEN ASSEMBLY
The invention relates a covering assembly, such as an insect screen assembly, for a living space, a door or window, e.g. of a vehicle. The assembly includes an assembly frame and at least one movable beam, movable with respect to the assembly frame. The assembly includes a covering connected to the at least one movable beam, so as to be moved between a first and a second position. The covering includes a honeycomb covering.
Fenestration assembly
A fenestration assembly includes a frame assembly, and a sash assembly. The frame assembly includes at least one each unitary frame member formed from a first sheet of material. The sash assembly including at least one unitary member being formed from a second single sheet of material.
LOW PROFILE FENESTRATION SCREEN ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR SAME
A fenestration assembly includes a low-profile screen assembly including a fenestration frame and a sash movably coupled with the fenestration frame. The sash includes a daylight opening having a daylight opening profile. The low-profile screen assembly is coupled with one or more of the fenestration frame or the sash. The low-profile screen assembly includes a screen panel having a screen frame coupled along one or more of the sash or the fenestration frame, and the screen frame includes a screen frame inner perimeter. A screen membrane spans the screen frame and is coupled with the screen frame. The screen frame inner perimeter is outside of the daylight opening profile.
REMOVABLE MESH SCREEN FOR A DOOR GATE
A gate for restricting access to and from an area includes a first post, a second post, a floor support member, and a gate door. The gate door includes a rigid frame and a mesh screen, the mesh screen including at least one panel adjacent a mesh portion of the mesh screen and at least one flap, the flap substantially encasing a portion of the frame and being configured to overlap the at least one panel. The gate door further includes an opening in at least one of the panel and flap and a screw socket having a socket portion fixedly coupled to either the flap or the overlapping panel, the screw socket further comprising a screw portion configured to pass through the opening and to couple to the socket portion. In addition, the gate includes a hook and loop fastener connection between the flap and the overlapping panel
