Smart Ladder
A ladder including sensors, a controller, and output signals to alert the user to operating conditions and to aid the user in the safe operation of the ladder.
EXTENSIBLE LADDER
An adjustable-height ladder includes left and right legs and a series of horizontal steps coupled to the left and right legs. The ladder also includes a utility tray.
Attachments for a collapsible marine ladder
Attachments for a collapsible marine ladder including a rung attachment for attaching to the ladder rungs. Each rung attachment includes an upper part having a first channel defined along a downward facing side of the upper part. The first channel receives an upward facing side of the rung. A downwardly angled section of the upper part extends below the rung when the upper part is attached to the rung. A pad is received on top of an upward facing side of the upper part and interfaces with a user's foot. A second channel on an upward facing side of a lower part receives a downward facing side of the rung such that the upper part attaches to the lower part. A rail attachment attaches to a rail of the ladder and receives a rail extension for extending the length of the rail. The rail extension has a handgrip.
Modular ladder system
A modular ladder system has a rung section having two elongate lateral stile extrusions and elongate rung extrusions spanning therebetween. Each stile extrusion may define an attachment side having an attachment face which has two attachment channels which are adjacent, parallel and longitudinally arranged along the attachment face. Each attachment channel may have inward facing rails which define an elongate insertion space therebetween and a relatively wider connector head accommodation void thereunderneath. Furthermore, each rail may define a connector head engaging under edge. Each stile extrusion may further define a connection side adjacent to the attachment side which may define a splice joint extrusion accommodating void therein. In this way, the present modular ladder system may be quickly and easily constructed and various accessories quickly and easily attached thereto.
LADDERS AND LADDER RUNGS
A ladder and ladder rungs are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder comprises a first assembly having a first pair of spaced apart rails and a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart rails. At least one rung of the plurality of rungs may include a first support surface portion, a second support surface portion, and a channel extending between the first support surface portion and the second support surface portion. In one embodiment, a rear surface of each of the first pair of spaced apart rails defines a plane and the first support surface portion is located on a first side of the plane and the second support surface portion is located on a second side of the plane. In one embodiment, at least one other rung is entirely positioned on the first side of the plane.
ANCHORING A CANTILEVERED STEP TO A FIBERGLASS UTILITY POLE
A pole step apparatus for fiberglass utility poles can have a supporting body is disclosed, having a bended portion with a brace on the supporting body; a grip surface distal to the bended portion; a nut on a threaded portion of the supporting body to tighten the brace toward the bended portion via the threaded portion of the supporting body; a passthrough in the brace formed can accommodate a supporting body and resists rotation; the bended portion is formed on the supporting body at a 90-degree angle; an arc is formed on the brace adjacent to the bended portion; and the brace resists rotation via a non-cylindrical, anti-rotational portion of the supporting body.
Ladder, Wide Rung and Method
A ladder having a first rail and a second rail. The ladder having a standard rung having a width permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a first wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung, which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The ladder having a second wide rung having a width greater than the width of the standard rung, which is permanently attached to the first rail and the second rail. The first wide rung and the second wide rung are disposed in a work zone of the ladder. The work zone of the ladder is where a user typically stands on the ladder while performing tasks. The standard rung is disposed outside the work zone. A wide rung. A method for using a ladder. A method for producing a ladder.
Ladder
A ladder stabilizer is provided, comprising an extension bar portion, a main arm portion, a brace bar portion, teeth strips, and levers. The extension bar portion is enclosed by an outer wall surface, an inner wall surface, and two side wall surfaces, and having upper and lower end portions. The main arm portion has upper and lower end portions configured for a telescopic connection. The brace bar portion has first and second end portions, and the first end portion is connected to the side portion at a lower position, and the second end portion is connected to the extension bar portion at a middle position. The teeth strips are fixed to lower portions of the two side wall surfaces of the main arm portion. Each lever has latching and releasing ends, installed on the two side wall surfaces of the extension bar through two spring-loaded hinges.
Ladder tube for a collapsible ladder
A ladder tube (10, 12) for use in a ladder section of a collapsible ladder (1) is provided. The collapsible ladder comprises several ladder sections (5, 5a-5j), where each ladder section comprises two ladder tubes (10, 12) arranged parallel to each other and interconnected by a rung (20) to form the respective ladder section, and where each ladder tube (10, 12) is telescopically inserted into a ladder tube (10, 12) of a lower section to form the collapsible ladder (1). The ladder tube (10, 12) is characterized in that it has a cross-sectional shape comprising at least one straight section (16) which at each end is connected at an angle larger than 90 degrees to at least one additional section (18) of the cross-sectional shape.
Boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus
A boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus is provided. One aspect of the present ladder apparatus includes an elongated extension handle including a slot adjacent a lower end thereof. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus provides a snap-on step tread which can be mounted to a dual-tubular ladder step structure. Another aspect of a boat or recreational vehicle ladder apparatus employs a laterally expandable ladder step which can be retrofit onto an existing ladder. A further aspect employs clasps or hooks to attach and retain a ladder step to generally vertical ladder rails in a tool-free and fastener-free manner.
