The folding ladder comprises a front frame, a rear frame, a pedal and a locking mechanism for locking the pedal flipping, the front frame is rotatably connected with the rear frame, the pedal is rotatably connected with the front frame, the rear frame is provided with a crossbar and the pedal can be flipped to the crossbar, after the pedal is flipped to the crossbar, the locking mechanism can lock the pedal, wherein the locking mechanism comprises a hook member, a snap portion that snaps the hook member, and a control member that controls the disengagement of the hook member and the snap portion; the hook member is provided with a barb that is engaged with the snap portion, there are one or two or more barbs; the snap portion is disposed on the pedal, and the hook member is disposed on the rear frame; or the positions of the snap portion and the hook member are interchanged.
SUSPENDED WORK STATION
An article comprising: (i) a tray having one or more through holes extending from a work surface of the tray to an opposing surface of the tray through a thickness of the tray; and (ii) one or more lines routed through the one or more through holes to support the opposing surface of the tray, each of the one or more lines connected to a locking mechanism, wherein the one or more locking mechanisms are adapted to secure the article to an object in a suspended state, the suspended state having the tray hanging by the one or more lines.
Ceiling Ladder, Deep Step and Method
A ceiling ladder having a plurality of sections that can be climbed by a user when in an unfolded position into an attic and that can be folded together into a retracted position to be stored above the ceiling. The ladder has a deep step, which has a width greater than the width of other steps of the ladder, in which is located between about 2-5 feet from the floor when the ladder is in the unfolded position so user can stand on the deep step in place objects into the attic without having to climb into the attic. A method. A deep step.
Underwater Platform Installation in an Existing Swimming Pool
A retro-fit installation modifies the existing pool ladder structure of an existing in-ground or above-ground swimming pool to support an underwater swim out platform structure. In some versions, the ladder rails of the existing pool ladder are used to support the underwater platform, while in others the existing pool ladder rails are replaced with new tubular platform rails specifically designed to support the underwater platform structure. Other versions are adapted for installations in a round pool or at a corner of a rectangular pool.
STEP LADDER WITH COMPONENT RACK SYSTEM FOR FABRICATION FACILITY
A ladder assembly is provided, including the following: a mounting plate that connects to a side surface of a module in a fabrication facility; a step ladder, including, a ladder frame having an arm that connects to the mounting plate at a first joint, wherein the step ladder rotates about the first joint between a lowered position and a raised position, the lowered positioned defined by resting of the step ladder on a floor of the fabrication facility, and the raised position defined by suspension of the step ladder off of the floor and substantially over the module; a plurality of step plates connected to the ladder frame, the step plates defining step surfaces for a user when the step ladder is in the lowered position. A sleeve extends below one of the step plates of the step ladder, to house electronic equipment used in the fabrication facility.
Ladder rung supported utility platform
A compact folding utility platform having a rung attachment attaching to the rung. A shelf folds from a vertical support, forming a work platform. A rung attachment is attached to the vertical support. In one embodiment, the rung attachment expands inside the rung of a ladder and is frictionally retained. In another embodiment, a rung attachment mechanism having fingers pivotally moves into position around the rung. Tabs placed in the vertical support may be used to hold the handle of a paint can. Other work tools may be placed on the shelf.
Auxiliary step platform for ladder
An auxiliary platform for a ladder step. The auxiliary platform may include a substantially rectangular and horizontally oriented platform with a platform front negative edge and a platform rear edge hem. The auxiliary platform may further include a substantially flat front surface with a front surface flanged rearward-extending edge, the front surface flanged from the platform front negative edge. Additionally, the auxiliary platform a bracing surface flanged from and extended downward from the platform rear edge hem and oriented substantially parallel to the front surface, and a biasing member removably connected to the bracing surface. When the platform is placed on the ladder step and the biasing member biased against the ladder step and the bracing surface to secure the auxiliary platform to the ladder step.
Step adapter for rung ladders
Step adapters for a rung ladder to provide increased support surface or area is described. In one embodiment, the step adapter includes brace, platform, lock and safety bar sections. The lock, safety bar and platform sections structurally engage a rung of a ladder, and the brace section supports the adapter against rails of a ladder so that the step adapter provides an extended step structure to ease standing on the ladder. In another embodiment, the step adapter includes brace, platform and lock sections, where the platform section side edges are configured to lock the step adapter in place on a rung of a ladder. A tray overlay can be used in combination with the step adapter (which serves as support) to provide an area for holding work-related items. The step adapter can also include a securing element as an additional safety feature to anchor the adapter to a ladder.
Step adapter for rung ladders
Step adapters for a rung ladder to provide an increased support surface or area is described. In one embodiment, the step adapter includes a brace, a platform, a lock and a safety bar. The lock, safety bar and platform are provided to structurally engage or embrace a rung of a ladder, and the brace supports the adapter against the rails of a ladder so that in total the step adapter provides an extended step structure to ease standing on the ladder, especially for an extended period of time. In another embodiment, the step adapter includes brace, platform and lock sections, where the platform section side edges are configured to lock the step adapter in place on a rung of a ladder. A tray overlay is also described which when used in combination with the step adapter (which serves as a support) provides a service area for holding work-related items.
Ceiling ladder, deep step and method
A ceiling ladder having a plurality of sections that can be climbed by a user when in an unfolded position into an attic and that can be folded together into a retracted position to be stored above the ceiling. The ladder has a deep step, which has a width greater than the width of other steps of the ladder, in which is located between about 2-5 feet from the floor when the ladder is in the unfolded position so that a user can stand on the deep step and place objects into the attic without having to climb into the attic.
