A ladder securing device (10) for securing a ladder (12) to the side of house to prevent the ladder from tipping over while unattended. The ladder securing device has a substantially U-shaped clip (2) that slides under a drip edge (13) and/or under a piece of fascia (14). The clip is then attached to a rung of a ladder using one or more straps (9) extending from the U-shaped clip.

A roof ladder system includes a building that has a roof. The roof has a first side, a second side and a peak. An extension ladder is provided and the extension ladder is selectively positioned on the first side of the roof thereby facilitating secure footing on the roof. A pair of arms is each hingedly coupled to the extension ladder. Each of the arms is positioned at a selected angle with respect to the extension ladder such that each of the arms is selectively positioned to match a pitch of the roof. Moreover, each of the arms is positioned on the second side of the roof thereby facilitating the extension ladder to be retained on the first side of the roof. An intersection between the arms and the extension ladder is positioned on the peak.

A ladder safety device for removably securing a ladder to a parapet wall of a rooftop, including: a pair of support clamps securable to the parapet wall, each said support clamp including a first support member, a second support member, and an extended arm joining said first support member to said second support member, wherein a distance between said support members defines a width adjustable to the width of the parapet wall; an elongate plate connecting said pair of support clamps to each other; and at least one ladder hook extending from said elongate plate for securely receiving a rung of the ladder.

A roofing ladder bracket and safety assembly adapted to be secured to a roof of a building comprising a base member and a clamping member configured as a ladder clamping mechanism for firmly securing a ladder to a roof of a building and including a safety mechanism to which a worker's safety equipment or a worker's tethered tool can be attached.

A ladder safety device is provided for supporting a ladder with side rails and rungs. The ladder safety device has a ladder enclosure with a front, side supports, a rear support, and a ladder rung engagement that extends from the rear support toward the front. A mounting element is provided for mounting the ladder enclosure to a surface. The ladder enclosure defines a receiving area sized to permit the side rails and rungs of the ladder to pass therethrough and a support area with side rail receptacles that are open to the receiving area and receive the side rails of the ladder on either side of the ladder rung engagement such that one of the rungs of the ladder directly overlies the ladder rung engagement. The support area is accessed by inserting the ladder through the receiving area, and moving the ladder into the support area.

A handheld, portable ladder anchoring system designed for pitched roofs or other pitched constructs, that secures ladder placement in all directions via a 360-degree ladder stop. Platform configuration embodies a tripodal, load bearing design of tangential contact points of ladder feet abutting the inner rim of the ladder stop with a third leg of tripodal force-distribution being a tie-down strap.

An anchor for a safety line for use in roofing construction and maintenance activities. The anchor includes a hooked body having a shank and a point. A safety line is coupleable between a free end of the shank and a user. An anchor plate is rotatably and pivotably coupled to the point via a joint disposed therebetween. The anchor is disposable over a peak of a roof with the anchor plate on a first side of the roof and the body extending over the peak toward a second side. A user tethered to the anchor may work on the second side of the roof; pivotal and rotational movement of the body relative to the anchor plate enabled by the joint aids to maintain the body generally in line with the safety line while the anchor plate remains frictionally engaged with the first side of the roof.

A ladder stabilizing system for incorporation into a roofing system and for receiving and releasably retaining a ladder therein. The ladder stabilizing system includes a mounting plate disposed between layers of the roofing material and further includes a ladder bracket fixedly attached to the mounting plate and includes a section adapted to accommodate the features of the edge of the roofing system. The ladder bracket further includes a set of lateral supports for receiving the ladder there between and retention members for releasably securing the ladder to the ladder stabilizing system.

A sliding platform with an outrigger attaches to a ladder for stabilization by urging the outrigger against the underside of a structure (e.g., an eave). The device prevents the ladder from sliding or falling away from the structure. The device is adjustable from right to left to accommodate an angle of the engaged underside.

A roof ladder construction includes a roof hook assembly and a ladder to which the roof hook assembly is pivotally mountable for movement between two operative positions, a first of the operative positions being a position in which the roof hook assembly may extend over a roof ridge for engagement with a remote roof surface at a side of the roof opposite that at which the ladder is positioned and the other, second position being one in which the roof hook assembly does not engage with the remote surface of the roof.
