PNEUMATIC DRILL HAMMER COMPRISING A BOOST CHAMBER AND A DRILLING RIG COMPRISING SUCH A DRILL HAMMER
The invention relates to a pneumatically operated drill hammer, comprising a piston and a distributor axially arranged relative to each other in a housing, the piston being arranged to be moved axially between a first position and a second position. The drill hammer further includes a pneumatic drive system, including a drive chamber, a return chamber and a plurality of channels for distribution of drive gas in said drive system. The return chamber is arranged at a lower side of the piston and the drive chamber is arranged at an upper side of the piston, wherein the drive chamber is defined by a variable space enclosed by at least the housing, the piston and the distributor. The drive chamber includes at least one inlet port and at least one exhaust port arranged at a circumference of the drive chamber.
Horizontal directional drilling rig with health monitoring of components
A horizontal directional drilling rig is described. The rig can be entirely electrically powered. The performance (or “health”) and/or the life cycle of individual components of the rig can be electronically monitored. This permits identification of specific individual components that are performing in a substandard manner or are not performing properly or have reached the end of their life cycle. Individual improperly performing components or components at the end of their life cycle can thus be specifically identified. The improperly performing component(s) or components at the end of their life cycle can then be replaced. In some embodiments, when a component is identified as performing improperly, the operation of other, properly functioning components of the rig can be modified accordingly to account for the improperly performing component.
Electrical generator with an electrical bus connectable to different electrical power sources and different loads
An electrical generator that is configured to simultaneously output different types of electrical power so that electrically powered components that require different types of electrical power can be simultaneously powered by the electrical generator. The electrical generator can be used at any location where electrically powered components that require different types of electrical power are utilized. Instead of or in addition to outputting different types of electrical power, the electrical generator can also be configured to output at least one type of electrical power as well as a cooling liquid for use in cooling an external heat generating component.
Power system and method
The application is directed to a power system that may be provided in a portable form and operationally configured for use at a work site as a single source of electric power, hydraulic power and pneumatic power for work site operations. In regard to hydraulic fracturing stimulation of a wellbore, the power system is operationally configured as the source of hydraulic power for transportable pumping units of a fracturing operation and for hydraulic power tools, as the source of pneumatic power for pneumatic power tools and as the source of electric power for electric power tools and electronic equipment at a well site.
Anti-jam control system for mobile drilling machines
An anti-jam control system for mobile drilling machines is disclosed. The anti-jam control system may include a method for automatically clearing a jam during an automatic drilling mode of a mobile drilling machine including a drill bit mounted on a drill string. The method may include: monitoring a feed rate of the drill bit during the automatic drilling mode; and automatically initiating an anti-jam operation when the feed rate is below a predetermined feed rate threshold.
Automatic digging adjustment system and method
A system and method for automatically digging a hole using a digger assembly on the end of a boom. A controller is configured to receive signals from a plurality of sensors distributed throughout the digging system, along the boom and the digger assembly. Based on the information from the sensors, the controller automatically adjusts one or more parameters of the digging system while digging the hole. The system and method prevent corkscrewing of the digging member, while also allowing for a specific hole depth and hole angle to be dug. Specifically, the system allows for easily and accurately digging a plumb hole.
Mining or construction vehicle
A mining or construction vehicle comprising a boom extending in a first direction, which boom, via a first and a second rotation device, is connected to a hydraulic device arranged on a mounting device arranged at a free end of said boom, the first rotation device being arranged to provide a rotation around a first axis that is substantially parallel to the first direction, and a second rotation device being arranged to provide a rotation around a second axis that is arranged at an angle with respect to the first axis. Hydraulic conduits for supply of hydraulic fluid to said hydraulic device on said mounting device are arranged through at least one of the first and second rotation devices.
Blasting system and operating method for same
The present disclosure relates to a blasting system, the blasting system including: a drilling device configured to form blasting holes on a blasting target on the basis of a blasting design map; a charging device configured to place explosives in the blasting holes; detonators configured to detonate the explosives; a central control unit configured to confirm a position of a worker in real time, the worker driving the detonators; and a worker terminal configured to transmit worker position information to the central control unit, the worker position information indicating the worker position. The blasting system of the present disclosure can automatically connect the detonator to the central control unit, and improve worker convenience of the blasting work.
POWER DISTRIBUTION TRAILER FOR AN ELECTRIC DRIVEN HYDRAULIC FRACKING SYSTEM
An electric driven hydraulic fracking system is disclosed. A pump configuration that includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump that is mounted on the single pump trailer. A power distribution trailer distributes the electric power generated by the power generation system at the power generation voltage level to the single VFD and converts the electric power at a power generation voltage level to a VFD voltage level and controls the operation of the single shaft electric motor and the single hydraulic pump. The power distribution trailer converts the electric power generated by the power generation system at the power generation level to an auxiliary voltage level that is less than the power generation voltage level. The power distribution trailer distributes the electric power at the auxiliary voltage level to the single VFD that controls an operation of the of the auxiliary systems.
PARAMETER MONITORING AND CONTROL FOR AN ELECTRIC DRIVEN HYDRAULIC FRACKING SYSTEM
An electric driven hydraulic fracking system is disclosed. A pump configuration includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump mounted on the single pump trailer. A controller associated with the single VFD and is mounted on the single pump trailer. The controller monitors operation parameters associated with an operation of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system as each component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system operates to determine whether the operation parameters deviate beyond a corresponding operation parameter threshold. Each of the operation parameters provides an indicator as to an operation status of a corresponding component of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system. The controller initiates corrected actions when each operation parameter deviates beyond the corresponding operation threshold. Initiating the corrected actions when each operation parameter deviates beyond the corresponding operation threshold maintains the operation of the electric driven hydraulic fracking system.
