A levelling assembly is provided, for levelling an upper carriage assembly of a machine with respect to an undercarriage assembly having a first track roller frame and the second track roller frame. A levelling body is rotatably coupled to the first track roller frame and the second track roller frame and defines a first side and a second side laterally opposite to the first side. The levelling assembly includes a first pair of fluid actuators for movably coupling first side of the levelling body with the first track roller frame and a second pair of fluid actuators for movably coupling second side of the levelling body with the second track roller frame. The first and the second pair of fluid actuators move the levelling body between a fore tilted position and an aft tilted position relative to the first and the second track roller frames.

ANTI-JAM CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE DRILLING MACHINES

An anti jam control system for mobile drilling machines is disclosed. The anti jam control system may include a method for automatically clearing a jam during an automatic drilling mode of a mobile drilling machine including a drill bit mounted on a drill string. The method may include: monitoring a feed rate of the drill bit during the automatic drilling mode; and automatically initiating an anti jam operation when the feed rate is below a predetermined feed rate threshold.

Slope compensation system for rotary drill machines

A system for compensating for a slope of a work surface while drilling holes in the work surface includes a leveling system, a rotary drill mechanism, a position sensor, an inclination sensor, and controller. The controller is configured to access coordinates of a desired map drill hole, determine current coordinates of a machine reference, and determine a current slope of the machine. A dynamic offset compensation is determined to compensate for movement of the rotary drill mechanism by the leveling system from a first position offset from the desired map drill hole to a second position aligned with the desired map drill hole, with the dynamic offset compensation being based upon the characteristics and the current slope of the machine. Upon the rotary drill mechanism being aligned with the first position, generating a leveling command to move the machine so that the rotary drill mechanism is aligned with the desired map drill hole.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD TO PERFORM LEVELING FOR BOREHOLE DRILLS
20210010329 · 2021-01-14 · ·

A system, apparatus, and method for leveling a borehole or blasthole drilling machine, or portion thereof, provided over a drilling site can implement a ground contact detect phase or operation, a first coarse leveling phase or operation, a lowering phase or operation, and a fine leveling phase or operation. The phases or operations can be based on or responsive to signals from sensors of the drilling machine. The phases or operations can involve changing length of one or more of the jacks of the drilling machine when the drilling machine is positioned over the drilling site.

Drill Adaptor

A drill adaptor that offers a simple solution for drilling large diameter holes in the earth with a small to mid-sized excavator. The drill adaptor allows drilling to occur on un-level ground as it can move side to side, front to back, and vertically up and down. The drill adaptor is comprised of a slide tube that moves the drill attachment up and down, side to side, and front to back. The drill adaptor uses pins to secure the inner, outer, and lower pivot housings. The inner and outer pivot housing allows the slide tubews front to back and side to side motion as the lower pivot housing connects to the drill attachment and or drill rotator. The drill adaptor uses a cable and winch system that can also be exchanged for a rack and pinion system to complete the vertically up and down movements of the drill attachment. This drill adaptor allows for an efficient and compact means of drilling large diameter holes in un-level drilling surface within the earth.

Negative angle capable blasthole drilling mast

A mast assembly for a mobile drilling machine may comprise: a mast frame including a back, a first side, and a second side, the first side and the second side diverging from the back to form an open front along substantially an entire length of the mast frame; a drill motor assembly movably attached to the mast frame, wherein the drill motor assembly is configured to rotate a drill pipe; and a drill drive assembly configured to drive the motor assembly up and down along a length of the mast frame, the drill drive assembly including: a sheave assembly comprising a plurality of sheaves, wherein the plurality of sheaves include a first sheave aligned generally parallel to the first side of the mast frame and a second sheave aligned generally parallel to the second side of the mast frame.

Drill pipe rack with replaceable bushings

A drill pipe rack for a mobile drilling machine is disclosed. The drill pipe rack may comprise a plurality of tubular receptacles extending from a base of the drill pipe rack to form a cup configuration. The drill pipe rack may further comprise a set of bushings, each bushing of the set of bushings may be received in a respective receptacle. Additionally, each bushing may have the same inner diameter, the inner diameter corresponding to an outer diameter of a drilling pipe segment of the mobile drilling machine.
