SHAPED CUTTERS
Embodiments of the present invention provides cutting elements for use on rotary drill bits for drilling subterranean formations. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to cutting elements having a shaped upper surface including at least one spoke for cutting and/or failing subterranean formations during drilling. The present disclosure also relates to drill bits incorporating one or more of such cutting elements.
Diamond cutting elements for drill bits seeded with HCP crystalline material
A polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC), which is attached or bonded to a substrate to form a cutter for a drill bit, is comprised of sintered polycrystalline diamond interspersed with a seed material which has a hexagonal close packed (HCP) crystalline structure. A region of the sintered polycrystalline diamond structure, near one or more of its working surfaces, which has been seeded with an HCP seed material prior to sintering, is leached to remove catalyst. Selectively seeding portions or regions of a sintered polycrystalline diamond structure permits differing leach rates to form leached regions with differing distances or depths and geometries.

Reamer for use in drilling operations
The invention relates to reamers used in downhole oil well operations, particularly in reaming while drilling applications. Presented is a reamer having an interior channel which runs axisymmetric to an elongate axis of the entire body of the reamer, wherein there are openings along both ends of the reamer, exposing the interior channel. Additionally presented in the reamer are a plurality of paths extending parallel to the interior channel along the exterior of the body of the reamer, and running in a helical pattern along the entirety of the exterior of the body of the reamer. Disposed within the helical paths are a plurality of cutting inserts, which cutting inserts are enabled to provide a uniform cutting surface against a well bore, which preferably improves cutting action and reduces strain on the reamer.

Earth-boring tools and related methods
An earth-boring tool comprising a body having first cutting elements mounted to an axially leading face, the first cutting elements each having a cutting face exposed to a height above the face of the body, the cutting faces of the first cutting elements back raked and facing a direction of intended rotation of the earth-boring tool. The earth-bring tool further comprises second cutting elements mounted to the axially leading face of the body adjacent first cutting elements in a cone region of the bit face, the second cutting elements each having a cutting face exposed to a height above the face of the body and configured for a shear-type cutting action, the cutting faces of the second cutting elements back raked to about a same or greater extent than the first cutting elements and generally facing the direction of intended rotation of the earth-boring tool.

Apparatuses and methods for obtaining at-bit measurements for an earth-boring drilling tool
An earth-boring drilling tool comprises a cutting element. The cutting element comprises a substrate, a diamond table, and at least one sensing element formed from a doped diamond material disposed at least partially within the diamond table. A method for determining an at-bit measurement for an earth-boring drill bit comprises receiving an electrical signal generated within a doped diamond material disposed within a diamond table of a cutting element of the earth-boring drill bit, and correlating the electrical signal with at least one parameter during a drilling operation.

Laser-brazed PCD element
The present disclosure relates to an industrial device, such as a drill bit that may be fabricated by performing a first coupling process that includes activating an attachment material between a first cutter element and a first recess of a bit body, monitoring a temperature associated with the first cutter element by a camera, and adjusting one or more parameters associated with the laser in response to output from the camera. The process may be repeated for a plurality of cutter elements. The disclosure further includes the process and a system to perform the process.
