DEPLOYMENT OF UMBILICAL WITH TUBULAR STRING
An apparatus can include a telescoping arm having a guiding means and a pivot at opposite ends, the telescoping arm being rotatable about the pivot relative to a spider, and the pivot being secured to the spider. A method can include extending a telescoping arm upward relative to a rig floor, pivoting an upper end of the telescoping arm toward a tubular string, then clamping an umbilical to the tubular string, then lowering the tubular string, then retracting the telescoping arm and pivoting the upper end of the telescoping arm away from the tubular string, and then applying torque to a connection in the tubular string. A system can include an actuator operative to rotate a telescoping arm about a pivot, an upper end the actuator is connected to the telescoping arm, and a lower end of the actuator is positioned within an outer circumference of a spider.
DUAL ELECTROHYDRAULIC VEHICLE FOR TUNNELLING AND ROOF REINFORCEMENT
The present invention develops a dual electrohydraulic vehicle for development of tunnels and roof fortification, comprising both a front face drilling unit and a roof support and fortification unit. Furthermore, the electrohydraulic vehicle is composed of a front chassis consisting of a pair of wheels, positioning cylinders, an operator's cab and two telescopic arms mounted on such chassis and a rear chassis located behind the front chassis according to the direction of movement and consisting of a pair of wheels, positioning cylinders, two electrohydraulic units also called Power pack, an electric cable reel and a diesel engine, wherein both chassis are articulated to each other, of the jumbo type, by means of a vertical axle. This electro-hydraulic vehicle may also include a cartridge launcher tube and a semi-automatic bolt feeding system.
Clamp-on single joint manipulator for use with single joint elevator
An apparatus for assembling a tubular string includes a rig drilling bail, a joint bail extender, and a device. The joint bail extender is rigidly coupled to the rig drilling bail. The device is coupled to the first joint bail extender and configured to engage a tubular segment.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONDUCTING SUBTERRANEAN OPERATIONS
A tubular handling system for conducting subterranean operations is disclosed and can include a first tubular handling system and a second tubular handling system. The first tubular handling system can include a bridge disposed within a tubular storage area, an arm pivotally coupled to the bridge, and a gripper coupled to the arm and adapted to engage with a tubular in the tubular storage area. The second tubular handling system can include a support structure, a first tubular handler coupled to the support structure, and a second tubular handler coupled to the support structure and distinct from the first tubular handling system.
Communicative coupler for a well system
A communicative coupler for a tubular member including a hub having a longitudinal hub axis and a chamber disposed therein, a coil disposed in the hub for electromagnetically communicating with a coil of the tubular member, a shaft having a longitudinal shaft axis, a first end, and a second end, wherein the second end of the shaft is pivotally coupled to the hub, and a positioning assembly disposed in the chamber of the hub that engages the second end of the shaft, and wherein the positioning assembly is configured to allow the longitudinal shaft axis to become laterally offset from the longitudinal hub axis.

High trip rate drilling rig
A high trip rate drilling rig has first handling equipment to transport stands in/out of setback, second handling equipment to deliver stands to/from well center, and a hand-off position to set down stands for exchange between first/second equipment. Second equipment can include a top drive and a delivery arm translatable along the mast past each other, and a clasp on the arm slidable on the stand for constraint below the upper end, which can allow the top drive to engage/disengage the constrained stand above the arm. A high trip rate method transports stands in/out of setback, delivers stands to/from well center, and sets down and hands off stands at hand-off position between the setback transportation and well center delivery. The delivery can include engaging/disengaging the top drive and a stand constrained by the clasp.
