Subsea well equipment landing indicator and locking indicator

A subsea well equipment landing body (1) includes an indicator assembly to indicate landing of the landing body or to indicate locking of the landing body. The indicator assembly has a stem bore (7), a sliding stem (11) within the stem bore that has a stem head (23) protruding beyond an external face of the landing body. A stem channel (25) in the sliding stem extends between the stem head and a stem channel mouth (27), and is in fluid communication with the outside of the landing body. A hydraulic channel (9) in the landing body is in fluid communication with the stem bore. The stem channel mouth is positionable in a communicating position, in which there is fluid communication between the hydraulic channel and the stem channel, and a non-communicating position, without fluid communication between the hydraulic channel and the stem channel.

Apparatus and method for locating and setting a tool in a profile

A device is provided for positively locating within a profile, wherein the device includes one or more radially resilient locator mechanisms; one or more slips; one or more packing elements; and a stopping mechanism; wherein the one or more locator mechanisms are radially expandable to locate within the profile and wherein the stopping mechanism prevents engagement of the one or more slips and the one or more packing elements unit the one or more locator mechanisms are located in the profile. A method is also provided for applying downhole isolation.

Method and System for Generating A Completion Design Using A Streamline Model

Reservoir sweep efficiency includes obtaining fluid front arrival times for streamlines in a reservoir. A wellbore is partitioned into independent production zones, and a target flowrate is allocated to each of the independent production zones based on the fluid front arrival times. Partition choke parameters complying with the target flowrates are allocated to generate a completion design, which is presented.

Interchangeable lead impression block

Systems and methods for obtaining a shape of a component within a subterranean well with an impression tool includes the impression tool having a top sub. The top sub is an elongated member having a central axis and a downhole facing surface. A threaded recess of the top sub extends axially from the downhole facing surface. A bottom body section has a block body, a lead impression block positioned at a downhole side of the block body, and a threaded member located at an uphole side of the block body. The threaded member of the bottom body section threadingly engages the threaded recess of the top sub. The bottom body section is operable to be selectively threaded to, and unthreaded from, the top sub.
