Pumpable resin system
A rock bolt system includes a fitting having a main body defining a central opening configured to receive a rock bolt, with the main body defining a grout opening in fluid communication with the central opening, and a grout body defining a space between the main body and the grout body. The main body is rotatable relative to the grout body, with the grout body defining a resin port and a catalyst port. The resin port and the catalyst port are in fluid communication with the space and the grout opening of the main body. A rock bolt defines a central opening, with the central opening of the rock bolt configured to be in fluid communication with the central opening of the fitting when the rock bolt is secured to the fitting.
Apparatus for resin injection, mining machine and method
An apparatus for injecting grouting material, a mining machine and a method of reinforcing rock surfaces by a grouting material is provided. The apparatus includes an injector head provided with a mixing device, which are both insertable into a drilled hole. The apparatus is for feeding resin mixtures having two different setting times. The injector head is connected to a fluid inlet arrangement having a common first feed line for slow and fast resin base components and a second feed line for a resin catalyst.
TUNNEL CONSTRAINT ANCHOR CABLE AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING STABILITY OF INITIAL SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A tunnel constraint anchor cable and a method for improving stability of an initial support structure. The tunnel constraint anchor cable comprises steel strands (1) anchored in surrounding rock, first anchor plates (2) and first anchorage devices (3) which are installed on the surface of the surrounding rock, longitudinal connection members (5) installed between two adjacent steel ribs (4), and second anchor plates (6) and second anchorage devices (7) which are installed on the longitudinal connection members (5). With the support of the tunnel constraint anchor cable, the ability of the initial support structure to resist self instability and destruction is improved, overall settlement and convergence deformation of the initial support structure can also be suppressed. The method for improving stability of an initial support structure has the characteristics of simplicity, speed, reliability, and avoiding interference with subsequent construction processes of tunnels.
Adhesively anchored rock bolt assembly
Disclosed is a rock bolt assembly including: a rock bolt with an elongate body which extends between a distal end and a proximal end and which has an integrally formed anchor portion and, where the body is not so formed, cylindrical stem portions; a tubular sleeve with a first diameter, which longitudinally extends between a first end and a second end, partially encasing the rock bolt so at least a proximal end portion of the bolt projects from the first end of the sleeve; a grout-input element which engages the rock bolt on the proximal end portion and which engages the first end of the sleeve in sealing contact; wherein, over each stem portion, the tubular sleeve is adapted along a band section by a reduction in the first diameter in a diametric plane; and wherein, over the anchor portion, the tubular sleeve retains the first diameter.

Device for anchoring in multilayer soil
The invention relates to an anchoring device wherein a positioning plate (5), intended for bearing on the ground surface, is mounted onto a hollow rod (2). The rod consecutively supports, from the positioning plate (5) to the free end (22), at least one helical force disk (6) then one helical penetration disk (8). Said anchoring device is characterized in that the rod extends after the helical penetration disk opposite the plate (5). Said anchoring device is moreover characterized in that a bit (4) is placed on the free end of said rod so that a first portion of the rod (2), capable of being screwed into at least one first ground layer, extends from the plate (5) to the helical penetration disk and moreover so that a second portion of the rod (2), capable of being anchored in a second ground layer, extends from the helical penetration disk (8) to the bit (4).
Anchor and method of using the same
Disclosed is an anchor having a sleeve and a concentric shaft having head at one end with a rectangular plate through with the shaft interposed between the head and the adjacent end of the sleeve. A deformable plate is positioned on the shaft between the head and the sleeve so that movement of the sleeve along the shaft towards the head deforms the plate from a configuration where the plate is substantially confined to an area within the perimeter of the head into a substantially planar configuration where the perimeter of the plate extends at least partially beyond the perimeter of the head. Also disclosed is a method of fixing the anchor in a bore hole with the ends of the plate in an undercut in the bore hole and filling the bore hole with resin while venting air via a passage extending from adjacent to a closed end of the bore hole through a suitable cover.
Tensionable threaded rebar bolt
Embodiments of the present invention include hot-rolled threaded rebar bolts that have a substantially circular core with semi-continuous threads on opposing sides of the rebar bolts. In some embodiments of the invention the shaft is substantially void of longitudinal ribs along at least a portion of the longitudinal area between the first set of threads and the second set of threads of the shaft. The threaded rebar bolt is manufactured in a continuous hot-rolling process to create a threaded rebar shaft with semi-continuous threads and substantially no longitudinal ribs in the longitudinal areas and no additional machining is required to create the threads after the threaded shaft is created from the hot-rolling process.
Two-part resin input nozzle
A resin input nozzle (10A) which is adapted to engage or connect to a hollow resin-anchored rock bolt (12) to introduce a resin composed of a plurality of resin components (A,B,C), into and through the bolt, the nozzle including a body (14) with a leading end (16), a leading end portion which ends at a leading end and a trailing end (18), a first conduit (22) and a second conduit (24) formed through the body, each conduit having an outlet (28A, 28B), which opens at or adjacent the leading end, and at least one inlet (26A, 26B) which is adapted to engage with a supply of a respective resin component, wherein the outlets are spaced from one another to prevent mixing of the resin components as each emerges from a respective outlet after passage through a respective conduit.
Apparatus for resin injection, mining machine and method
