BRUSH FOR MAINTENANCE OF INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PADEL TURFS

A padel turf sand brush (1) and method for maintenance of padel turfs. The brush (1) comprises a base member (2). The brush (1) further comprises a brush shaft (7). The brush (1) further comprises a first (9) and a second elongated brush portion (10). The first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10) interact when the brush (1) is in use by being moved on top of the surface of the padel turf, such that the padel turf sand is transferred from areas of the padel turf having too much sand to areas of the padel turf having too little sand, as some of the sand being brushed stays in front, in the direction of travel, of the first (9) and the second elongated brush portion (10), for a certain period of time.

SMOOTHING DRUM WITH PRECISION LEVELING FOR SMOOTHING PAVEMENT SURFACES
20180148899 · 2018-05-31 ·

An apparatus for smoothing pavement surfaces includes a wheeled frame and a smoothing drum with spaced cutting teeth that allow for making overlapping cuts on a pavement. The apparatus further includes a precision leveling system for profile averaging.

System for machine control

A control system for controlling the movement of a machine element of a construction machine may include a camera support, a plurality of video cameras, a processor responsive to the cameras, and a control for providing control signals. The camera support is adapted for attachment to a movable construction machine. The plurality of video cameras are mounted in a row on the camera support, with the cameras being directed downward to define overlapping fields of view beneath the row. The processor determines the relative position of a point of interest on a surface in the overlapping fields of view of at least two adjacent cameras. The control provides control signals for controlling the movement of the construction machine in dependence upon the relative position of the point of interest.

Methods, compositions and systems for enhancing the useful life of a transportation surface

Methods, compositions and systems for prolonging the lives of transportation surfaces, including pavement, runways, bridges and parking structures include physically altering the transportation surface and chemically protecting the transportation surfaces. Physical alteration of a transportation surface may include physically altering one or both of a microtexture and a macrotexture of the transportation surface. Chemical protection of a transportation surface may include hardening and/or densifying the transportation surface. The transportation surface may be chemically protected while physically altering the transportation surface or after the transportation surface has been physically altered.

METHOD OF MAINTAINING AN UNMETALLED ROADWAY DURING LOAD TRANSFER AND A VEHICLE THEREFOR
20170114509 · 2017-04-27 ·

A method of maintaining a roadway (2) during transfer of a load from a first location to a second location by a motorised vehicle (1) is described. The vehicle (1) may be a dumper truck and has a retractable blade (8) movable relative to the vehicle (1) between a retracted position (FIG. 1) and a working position (FIG. 2). The load is transferred in the vehicle (1) from the first location to the second location along the roadway (2), the blade (8) is moved to the working position after dumping the load and on the return journey the vehicle (1) acts as a grader to smooth undulations and ruts. The blade (8) is pivotally mounted and located between the front axle (5) and the rear axle (6, 7) and does not extend beyond the width of the vehicle. Unmetalled roadways on construction sites, quarries and mines may be maintained in good condition without the need to employ additional vehicles or hire separate grader vehicles.
