Guardrail post system
A subterranean housing and post system for connection to a traffic guardrail is disclosed. The housing comprises an interior space and a soil plate extending outward from the housing. The interior of the housing comprises a lower post guide, a lower post stop, and an upper post stop. A lower post has a U-channel shape with outwardly extending flanges. The lower post is insertable into the lower end of the housing, between the lower post guide and the housing body, with insertion limited by engagement with the lower post stop. An upper post has a U-channel shape with outwardly extending flanges. The upper post is insertable into the upper end of the housing, between the lower post and the housing body. Insertion of the upper post is limited by engagement with the upper post stop. The upper post is connectable to a guardrail.
METALLURGICAL STEEL POST DESIGN FOR SOLAR FARM FOUNDATIONS AND INCREASED GUARDRAIL DURABILITY
A high-grade post or pile system for the foundation of a solar array, which may facilitate the installation of a solar array rack in more corrosive soils. Such a post may also satisfy the need for a foundation able to resist ground forces, in particular the effects of wind on the exterior of the array, and may reduce problems with beam refusal. The post may be used in other applications such as guardrail posts. In contrast to existing posts for solar arrays, the high-grade post may be formed from higher-grade steel.
WIRE ROPE SAFETY BARRIER
A wire rope safety barrier comprising a plurality of line posts positioned along a roadway. A plurality of cables are attached to the line posts and extend between the line posts to define a safety barrier along the roadway. At least one of the plurality of cables is an external cable engaging an outer surface of the line posts. Each external cable is connected to the line posts by a cable holder inserted through the cable holder slot, and the cable holder has a body portion and a hook portion. Each cable holder has a locating notch at a bottom surface configured to engage with the lower edge of a corresponding cable holder slot.
GUARDRAIL
Disclosed is a guardrail including a post and a longitudinal beam, the post and longitudinal beam being linked via at least one fastener and mounting plate. The mounting plate in one embodiment includes a rigid body configured to mate with the at least one fastener; and at least one deformable region or regions about or alongside the body that, in the event of an impact on the guardrail, bends and/or breaks thereby releasing the body from the remainder of the mounting plate and in doing so allowing the post and longitudinal beam to separate. A guardrail post including at least one fastener and at least one mounting plate is also described along with a mounting plate for use in a guardrail assembly.
VERTICAL MEMBER FOR A VEHICLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM
Disclosed is a vertical member for a vehicle restraint system, said vertical member being intended for attaching a guard rail of the vehicle restraint system. The vertical member includes a profiled support and a reinforcing support within the profiled support, and the longitudinal axis of the reinforcing support runs substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the profiled support.
HELICAL PILE FOUNDATION SYSTEM
A post foundation system is provided. The system has a shaft with a helical disk attached to one end and a post support attached to the other end. The helical disk drives the shaft into the ground as a rotational force is applied to the shaft. A fin section is rotatably coupled about the shaft between its first and second ends. The fin section can have one or more fins extending outwardly from the shaft. The fin section engages the ground to stabilize the post foundation system as the shaft of the post foundation system is driven into the ground.
Brace for erecting a bollard fence
A bollard panel having adjacent bollards and a gap between the adjacent bollards, a brace having a panel connector, a first longitudinal section, and a second longitudinal section, and the brace supporting the bollard panel in a vertical position relative to a ground with the brace disposed in the gap with the first longitudinal section located on a first side of the bollard panel, the second longitudinal section located on a second side of the bollard panel, and the panel connector attached to the bollard panel.
ROAD SAFETY BARRIER
A road safety barrier has a plurality of panels flanking one another at respective vertical lateral edges thereof, made of a material deformable upon impact by a vehicle, and a plurality of vertical support elements supporting the panels. The vertical support elements include a first and a second vertical support member facing one another at the flanked vertical lateral edges of the panels, on opposite sides with respect to two major faces of the panels. The barrier has components for reciprocally blocking the first and the second vertical support member to the two opposite faces of the panels, and longitudinal stiffening elements coupled to the panels at respective upper longitudinal edges thereof.
Wheel stop
An apparatus includes a base having a length in a first direction, a height in a second direction different from the first direction, and a depth in a third direction different from the first direction and the second direction. The base includes at least one sidewall having an outer surface, an inner surface, and an edge defining an open end of a cavity within the base. The base also includes a plurality of ribs extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. The ribs of the plurality of ribs are separated from one another along the first direction. The base further includes at least one tube extending from the inner surface of the at least one sidewall toward the open end of the cavity. The apparatus also includes at least one plaque removably attached to the outer surface of base.
