An apparatus for cleaning a floor includes a housing, chassis, wheels, motor, steering mechanism, cleaning assembly, optionally a squeegee assembly, and at least one of a side sweeping system, front sweeping system, and pick-up system. The side sweeping system includes a turntable with central axis, a drive wheel disposed in coaxial relationship with the turntable, a sweeper motive device in communication with the drive wheel, a plurality of brushes distributed radially around the drive wheel and adapted to be driven by rotation of the drive wheel, and a pivoting connector configured to enable the side sweeping system to pivot laterally in response to contact with a wall while at least one of the brushes maintains contact with the floor adjacent the wall while the apparatus is in operation, and the brushes move debris disposed on the floor adjacent the wall toward the front of the apparatus.
ADJUSTABLE ROTARY BRUSH
A rotary brush assembly for a paving machine may comprise a frame mount for mounting the rotary brush assembly to a chassis frame of the paving machine, as well as a plurality of adjustable mounting arms. The rotary brush assembly may further include a motor having a drive shaft. A pair of mounting plates may be coupled to the drive shaft. The rotary brush assembly may further include a plurality of blades. Each blade may include a mounting end installed between the pair of mounting plates, as well as an opposite free end.
FLOOR SCRUBBER CLEANING SYTEM USING A HEAT EXCHANGER AND PRESSURE VALVE FOR CONTROLLING DISPENSING FLUID VOLUME AND TEMPERATURE
A floor scrubber cleaning system includes a a combustion engine powered floor scrubber using at least one rotating scrubbing brush. A tank or reservoir is used for supplying a cleaning solution for cleaning a floor. A heat exchanger heats the cleaning solution flowing from the tank using hot exhaust gasses from the floor scrubber. A pressure regulator and a flow restriction orifice are used for controlling the amount of cleaning solution from the tank to the heat exchanger for controlling the volume and temperature of the cleaning solution
MULTIFUNCTIONAL ROBOTIC DEVICE
The application provides a multifunctional robotic device including a body, an energy unit installed in the body, a power unit powered by the energy unit, the power unit including an output shaft wherein the output shaft is located at the lower part of the body and exposed from the body, and at least two working units, the working unit is detachably connected to output shaft of the power unit and driven by the power unit.
Autonomous Street Sweeper Vehicle
The invention involves the development of an autonomous street sweeper vehicle which can detect the presence of obstacles and pedestrians and is used to perform a variety of sweeping functions such as sweeping, vacuuming, blowing, scraping, and such types of functions on roads and a variety of different surfaces. This invention pertains to an autonomous street sweeper vehicle designed to follow routes comprising an autonomous vehicle that includes a drive by wire kit, a database storing the collection routes, a mechanism for detecting the curb, pedestrians, cars, and other road obstacles, a control system that controls the truck to follow routes while maintaining the truck at serviceable distances to the curb that improve the efficiency of the sweeper. The autonomous street sweeper convoy communicates with each other via radios or other methods and a lead vehicle which could be functional or non-functional accompanies several autonomous street sweeper vehicles as part of a convey. Each of the autonomous street sweeper vehicles performs a specific function. The vehicle speed and settings of the cleaning equipment are adjusted based on road hazards that come across the path of the autonomous street sweeper vehicles.
Large to medium-size sweeping and mopping vehicle and mopping vehicle
A large to medium-size sweeping and mopping vehicle and a mopping vehicle are provided. The large to medium-size sweeping and mopping vehicle includes a vehicle body, and a disc-type sweeping mechanism, a round-roller-type sweeping mechanism and a first mopping mechanism sequentially disposed along the vehicle body; the disc-type sweeping mechanism including a clean water tank and disc-type sweeping edge brushes driven by a motor and disposed obliquely with respect to ground, the clean water tank being disposed in front of the vehicle body driver zone, and a nozzle being disposed above each disc-type sweeping edge brush and in communication with the clean water tank; the round-roller-type sweeping mechanism including a refuse collector and a round-roller-type main sweeping brush driven by the motor to rotate horizontally; and the first mopping mechanism including a dragging roller, a guiding mopping roller, a guiding roller, a ring-shaped mop and a washing water tank.
Surface maintenance machine with a quick alignment mechanism for a cleaning tool
A cleaning head assembly for a surface maintenance machine comprising a cleaning tool having a tool adapter, a driver adapted to provide a generally rotational motion to the cleaning tool to clean the floor surface, the driver being releasably connected to the tool adapter of the cleaning tool by a hub, and an aligning receptacle coupled to the tool adapter of the cleaning tool and positioned between the hub and the tool adapter, the aligning receptacle having an receptacle opening for receiving the hub, wherein the aligning receptacle is adapted to guide and matingly seat the hub into the receptacle opening and thereby engage the cleaning tool to the driver such that the cleaning tool and the driver are rotationally aligned and a rotational motion of the driver is transferred to the cleaning tool by the hub.
