Curb sweeper apparatus for blade-carrying machines
A curb sweeping apparatus for releasable engagement with a blade of a blade-carrying machine such as a motor grader, for example, the blade being arcuate in cross-section and having a top edge and a bottom cutting edge, the sweeping apparatus being comprised of a height and depth adjustable mounting assembly, a carrier frame fixedly connected to the mounting assembly, and a motor-driven rotary sweeper comprised of a sweeper brush assembly rotatably mounted to the carrier frame and a sweeper motor mounted to the carrier frame and operably coupled to the sweeper brush assembly.
Cost-effective bike lane sweeper
The embodiments include a primary frame (10) supported by two wheels (50), and connected to a towing vehicle via a tow bar (18). A cylindrical brush assembly (1) is mounted on a secondary frame (12), which rotates around the primary frame. The brush rotation is driven by an electric motor (110, 220) attached to the secondary frame. The brush rotation goes counter to the wheels' rotation. The amount of pressure between the brush and the ground is controlled by the length of a spring (23) that links the two frames. In one embodiment, the brush axis forms an angle (280) with the wheels' rotation axis, and the debris gets pushed to the side as the sweeper moves forward. In another embodiment, the brush axis is parallel to the wheels' rotation axis and the debris is driven around the brush by a wrap-around guide (100), into a hopper (140).
Sweeping machine for working ground surfaces, in particular lawns
A sweeping machine for working ground surfaces, in particular lawns comprises a machine frame adapted to be moved in the traveling direction, at least one wheel axle with at least one wheel, said wheel axle being supported in the machine frame transversely to the traveling direction, said wheel axle supporting the machine frame parallel to the ground surface, a least one sweeping element adapted to be driven for rotation about a sweeping element axis, said sweeping element axis extending substantially parallel to the ground surface, and said sweeping element is in contact with the ground surface when in an operating position. The sweeping machine of the invention provides that the sweeping element axis of the at least one sweeping element is adapted to be moved from a first operating position, assumed when travelling straight, to a second operating position, assumed when driving a curve, in which second position the sweeping element axis is in a position pivoted towards the inner side of the curve.
Roller Brush, In Particular For A Cleaning And/Or Care Device and Cleaning And/Or Care Device
The invention relates to a roller brush, in particular for a cleaning and/or care device, preferably for floor covering in the form of tiles, natural, artificial, blocks of concrete or wood, with a rotationally symmetrical cylinder which comprises a cylinder surface. At least one first plurality of a first bundle of bristles with a first brush and a second plurality of a second bundle of bristles with a second brush is arranged on the cylinder surface. The invention is characterised in that the first bundle of bristles are different from the second bundle of bristles.
Cleaning tool for a floor cleaning appliance
A cleaning tool for a floor cleaning appliance is provided, including a main body carrying a cleaning cover which is subject to wear, and including a signal transmitter which provides a wireless signal in dependence upon the degree of wear of the cleaning cover. To be able to detect in a cost-effective manner when a maximum admissible degree of wear of the cleaning cover is reached, the signal transmitter is of rigid construction and fixed to a movable carrying part, the carrying part being held on the main body and being movable from a normal position to an evasive position against a restoring force, the carrying part protruding further from the main body in the normal position than in the evasive position, and the carrying part and/or the signal transmitter contacting the floor surface to be cleaned when a maximum admissible degree of wear of the cleaning cover is reached.
Floating brush sweeper
This invention relates to an industrial street sweeper and especially to a street sweeper having a floating sweeper brush which floats or rides over obstacles in the surface being cleaned.
Strip Brush Assembly Having Metal and Polymer Bristles and Method of Making
A strip brush assembly with a plurality of elongated polymer bristles forming a section and a plurality of elongated metal bristles forming another section adjacent the polymer bristles section, such that the metal bristles section is supported by the polymer bristles section. The polymer and metal bristles are bonded and encapsulated in a base formed by direct extrusion onto and around the polymer and metal bristles to secure them to the formed base. The strip brush assembly may be used on a tubular mandrel of a street sweeper.
SWEEPING MACHINE WITH SIDE LOADING BROOM
A vehicular sweeping machine includes a frame and a broom assembly that is mounted to the frame. The broom assembly includes a broom enclosure, a left hub that is mounted on a left hub mount arm, and a right hub that is mounted on a right hub mount arm. A broom is mounted between the left hub and the right hub. An outer tube is attached to the rear of the broom enclosure and to one of the left and right hub mount arms. An inner tube has a fixed end that is attached to the left or right hub mount arm to which the outer tube is not attached. The inner tube also has a free end that is adapted to slide within the outer tube. A linear actuator is attached between the broom enclosure and the left or right hub mount arm to which the fixed end of the inner tube is attached. The linear actuator is adapted to move the hub mount arm to which it is attached between an inner position in which the broom is engaged with the left hub and the right hub and an outer position in which the broom is disengaged from one or both of the left hub and the right hub.
SWEEPING MACHINE HAVING IMPROVED SURFACE SEAL
A vehicular sweeping machine includes a frame and a broom assembly that is mounted to the frame. The broom assembly includes a broom enclosure and a broom that is mounted within the broom enclosure. A plurality of links are pivotally mounted between the frame and the broom assembly. These links are adapted to permit the broom assembly to move upwardly and downwardly with respect to the frame. The vehicular sweeping machine also includes a broom conveyor having a lower end that is disposed within the broom enclosure.
SWEEPING MACHINE WITH MULTI-COMPONENT MOLDBOARD
A vehicular sweeping machine includes a frame, a broom that is adapted to rotate about a generally horizontal axis and a broom enclosure. The broom enclosure has a left end gate, a right end gate and a moldboard assembly including an outer moldboard and an inner moldboard which are arranged to form a labyrinth seal at the rear of the broom enclosure.
