Robotic platform with teach-repeat mode

A method and system for a robotic device comprising a propulsion mechanism, an orientation sensor, a stored digital map of a service area, a sensor for sensing objects, a navigation and orientation system, and a processing facility comprising a processor and a memory, the processing facility causing the robotic device to determine and store a pose position of the robotic device at a plurality of sequential locations as the robotic device is guided by a user along a path from a start location to an end location through the service area, and as commanded by the user and utilizing the navigation and orientation system, re-trace the path from the start location to the end location replicating the stored pose position of the robotic device at the plurality of sequential locations.

SERVICE MODE SELECTION SYSTEM FOR SERVICE VEHICLE
20190163340 · 2019-05-30 ·

A service mode selection system for a service vehicle is provided for simplifying a control for setting the vehicle in a desired service mode. The system includes a control system for receiving an operator's selection of service mode via a service mode selection device and controlling vehicle components to automatically set the vehicle in a selected service mode. The service mode selection device can be arranged in a cab of the vehicle and allows the operator to conveniently select a desired service mode, thereby achieving a work-ready machine with as few operator inputs as possible.

Fluid suction device

A fluid suction device includes an elongate handle having a suction head at its distal end. The suction head extends in opposing directions substantially perpendicularly to the handle. The suction head includes an elongate longitudinal aperture in its outer wall in fluid communication with a suction pump. An absorbent panel covers the longitudinal aperture. When the suction head is applied to a spilled fluid, the wicking action of the absorbent panel and the negative air pressure from the suction pump allows rapid and efficient cleaning of an area affected by a fluid spill. The device also allows for safe and efficient removal of potentially dangerous objects such as broken glass. The device collects fluid in a waste reservoir so that it is easily disposed of.

A metal work box includes a base having a horizontal planar member having an upper surface and a lower surface. The metal work box also includes a plurality of side walls secured to and extending upwardly from the base. The plurality of side walls include a front first side wall formed along a front first edge of the base, a back second side wall formed along a rear second edge of the base, a left third side wall formed along a left side third edge of the base, and right fourth side wall formed along a right side fourth edge of the base. A door is formed along the front first side wall. The door includes a door panel having a free edge and a hinged edge, the hinged edge being pivotally secured to a front hinge side wall portion of the front first side wall so as to enable easy access to contents. The front first side wall also includes a latch extending between a front latch side wall portion of the front first side wall and the free edge of the door panel to allow for selective latching of the door panel to the front latch side wall portion to keep the door securely closed.

Spill clean-up system and method

A mobile cleaning system to be used for cleaning organic liquids from a hard surface includes tanks for storing water, and for storing used, dirty water after cleanup. A water-based cleaner is sprayed onto the spill, which can be, but need not be, done in connection with the cleanup system. A high throughput vacuum system removes the hot water and the spill materials concurrently as the hot water is applied to the treated area. The vacuumed liquids are stored in an on-board tank for later disposal.
