Drop spreader chutes, drop spreader assemblies and spreading vehicles
A chute for a drop spreader assembly that includes a body having a vertical axis. A funnel portion of the body has an open top to receive flowable material, a dispensing chute portion of the body has a distal dispensing opening and extending along an angle with respect to the vertical axis, and a plurality of directional vanes of the body protrudes into a flowpath within the dispensing chute portion to direct flowable material to an even distribution pattern through the distal dispensing opening. In some forms, the dispensing chute portion can be divided into a central portion and lateral portions separated from the central portion by gaps adapted to receive structure associated with a snow removal device therethrough. Each of the central and lateral portions can have a plurality of directional vanes protruding into a flowpath thereof.
Brush retrofit for a snow removal vehicle
A brush retrofit for mounting behind a snow plow blade of a snow removal vehicle is disclosed. The brush retrofit includes a base frame, a stationary brush assembly, a retrofit mount, a brush elevation actuator, and a retrofit mount. The stationary brush assembly is movably mounted to the base frame. The retrofit mount is configured to secure the base frame to a support structure of the snow removal vehicle behind the snow plow blade. The brush elevation actuator when activated, moves the stationary brush assembly relative to the base frame between a raised storage position and a lowered in-use position. The retrofit mount is configured to secure the base frame to a support structure of the snow removal vehicle behind the snow plow blade.
PLOW GUARD
A steel serrated plow guard with combination carbide insert which can be mounted on most plow blades is provided. The plow guard can be mounted onto most plow blades through the universal mounting elongated slot. The exemplary plow guard for mounting to a snowplow includes a plow guard body, a plow guard wear surface along the plow guard body, at least one enlarged outer edge on the plow guard body, at least one serrated cutting surface attached to the plow guard wear surface, an elongated horizontal slotted punch aperture along the plow guard body, and at least one longitudinal carbide matrix groove.
Multi-use garbage truck
A multi-use garbage truck has an ability to not only to front load containers of garbage into a hopper in a refuse collection body, but also an ability to swap out the forks, if not arm connection assemblies, or even entire frame arms, to be replaced with one of a plurality of attachments which connect to at least one, if not both frame arms with attachments for various uses such as snow plow, leaf blower, street sweeper, bucket, grapple, etc. Furthermore, an ability to independently operate the left frame arm relative to the right frame arm can now be provided so that the left frame arm can utilize and perform one function and the right frame arm provide another or at least be independently operable from one another.
Plow Lift Cushion Assembly
A plow lift cushion assembly can include a housing with a top. The housing can define a chamber. A slider with a sled and a shaft extending from the sled can be included. The sled can be configured to translate within the chamber. The shaft can extend out of the top of the housing and can be configured to be coupled to a plow lift arm. A spring-cushion system can be positioned within the chamber and can extend between the top and the sled. A set of flanges can extend from the housing. The set of flanges can be configured to interface with a set of chains coupled to a plow frame.
Ice removal blade assembly for a vehicle
An ice removal blade assembly for a vehicle includes: a support member configured to be affixed to a snow plow of the vehicle; a suspension member pivotably connected to the support member, the suspension member being pivotable about a suspension pivot axis; a plurality of blade mounts pivotably connected to the suspension member, the blade mounts being laterally spaced from one another, each blade mount of the plurality of blade mounts being pivotable about a respective blade mount pivot axis, the blade mount pivot axes of the blade mounts extending generally parallel to the suspension pivot axis; and a plurality of removable blade members affixed to respective ones of the blade mounts so as to pivot together therewith about the blade pivot axes. Each removable blade member has a lower cutting edge configured to scrape ice on a ground surface on which the vehicle travels.
LED marker with vertical mount
Provided in this disclosure is an apparatus for marking an implement, such as a snow plow. An elongated tubular member retains an illuminated member such an LED element within the interior. Conductor wiring connects a source of electrical energy to the LED. An enclosing cap includes a crimped end portion secured to the bottom end of the elongated tubular member. A cylindrical end portion has a hollow interior for admitting the conductor wiring for connection to the source of electrical energy. A perpendicular mounting bracket has a horizontal mounting surface and a vertical mounting surface, formed together at a right angle. The horizontal mounting surface is configured for connecting to the cylindrical end portion of the enclosing cap so that the elongated tubular member is disposed in a substantially vertical position. The vertical mounting surface is configured for connecting to a vertical portion of the snow plow.
COUPLING FOR CONTAINMENT PLOWS AND PUSHERS
A pivot coupling system that permits the use of attachable equipment such as material pushers or containment plows with a range of vehicles including all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), utility task vehicle (UTV), lawn and garden tractors, small farm tractors, small trucks, skid-steer loaders, etc.
PLOW ASSEMBLY WITH WINGS
A plow assembly includes a mounting structure configured to mount at a vehicle, a center plow attached at the mounting structure, and a plow wing mounted at an end of the center plow via a first attachment assembly and a second attachment assembly. Each of the first and second attachment assemblies includes an elongated attachment element and a biasing element. The elongated attachment element attaches a respective rear portion of the plow wing at the center plow and engages the biasing element at the rear of the center plow. The biasing element allows for movement of the attachment element at the rear of the center plow to allow for pivotal movement of the plow wing relative to the center plow. The biasing element limits pivotal movement of the plow wing and biases the plow wing towards a neutral state, where the plow wing is generally normal to the center plow.
Four wheel drive, skid steer snow vehicle with snow plow blade
A snow plow is pivotally mounted to a tractor by a compound mount allowing for multiple blade positions. The mount has an inner portion pivotally mounted about a first horizontal axis to the front of the tractor and an outer portion pivotally mounted about a vertical axis to the inner portion. The plow blade is pivotally mounted about a second horizontal axis to the outer portion. Deicer nozzles spray liquid and a spreader distributes salt and other materials in front of the front wheels of the tractor.
