SCRAPING DEVICE FOR CLEANING A ROADWAY SURFACE
The device includes two opposing lateral wings forming the right and left sides of the scraping device. Each wing includes an upper section through which the wing is attached to the central support about a vertical pivot axis, and a bottom section that is pivotable with respect to the upper section about a first horizontal pivot axis. Each wing can follow the unevenness of the roadway surface and may also include parts that can pivot backwards in case of a frontal impact with an obstacle. The scraping device offers a very high degree of versatility and can clean various kinds of roadway surfaces with an unprecedented level of efficiency.
PLOWING SYSTEM, VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SUCH SYSTEM, KIT FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME, AND CORRESPONDING METHODS OF MANUFACTURING, ASSEMBLING AND OPERATING ASSOCIATED THERETO
A plowing system is removably mountable onto a vehicle in order to provide the vehicle with lateral plowing capability along a given lateral range of the vehicle. The plowing system includes a mounting assembly, a plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component. The plowing system also has associated first and second actuating assemblies cooperable with one another so as to selectively operate the plowing component between retracted and deployed configurations, and so as to provide the plowing system and associated plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component with an increased plowing resistivity within the lateral range of the vehicle, due to a combined effect of the first and second actuating assemblies. A corresponding vehicle is provided with such a plowing system.
WORK ATTACHMENT FOR MOTOR GRADER
A work attachment for a motor grader includes a moldboard and a trip edge assembly coupled to the moldboard. The moldboard defines a plurality of first apertures. The trip edge assembly includes a trip edge structure. The trip edge assembly also includes a pivoting mechanism for pivoting a portion of the trip edge assembly in a first direction with respect to the moldboard when the trip edge assembly encounters an object in a drive path of the motor grader. The trip edge assembly further includes a mounting structure defining a plurality of second apertures. The plurality of second apertures are aligned with the plurality of first apertures to receive mechanical fasteners for removably coupling the trip edge assembly with the moldboard.
Method and apparatus for controlling auxiliary lighting using a vehicle electric plug
An auxiliary lighting system may operate with a controller that is electrically connectable to a vehicle's electric plug. The controller may have a microprocessor that is programmed to perform at least one of these functions: (A) prevent a front facing auxiliary turn signal light from going into an ON condition when a brake on the vehicle has been activated; (B) operate auxiliary turn signal lights into alternating ON and OFF conditions that match the simultaneous ON and OFF conditions of the vehicle's turn signals; and, (C) prevent the vehicle's electronic control unit from detecting that the controller is electrically connected to the electric plug.
PIVOT OFFSETTING IMPLEMENT ASSEMBLY ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
An attachment system for attaching an implement mounting assembly to a vehicle is disclosed. The attachment system includes a vehicle attachment component that is fastenable to a front portion of the frame of the vehicle, and a frame attachment component that is removably attachable to the vehicle attachment component on one end via a securing axis, and pivotably attachable to the implement assembly on another end about a pivoting axis. When fastened to the vehicle, the vehicle attachment component is located upward from the underside of the frame. When the frame attachment component is attached to the vehicle attachment component, the securing axis is located upward from the underside portion of the frame, and the pivoting axis is located downward therefrom.
Plow assembly with cushioning attachment
An accessory assembly, such as a plow assembly for a vehicle, includes a mounting structure configured to mount at a vehicle, a support structure and an accessory or plow. The support structure includes a vehicle end and an attaching end, with the vehicle end attached to the mounting structure via a cushioning assembly. The accessory or plow is pivotally attached at the attaching end of the support structure and is pivotable about a generally vertical axis. The cushioning assembly includes (i) a first element attached at the vehicle end of the support structure, (ii) a second element attached at the mounting structure, and (iii) a plurality of resilient elements disposed between the first element and the second element.
SNOW-CLEARING VEHICLE
A snow-clearing vehicle comprises a carrier vehicle and, attached to the front end thereof via a carrying device, a snowplow with at least one plowshare segment mounted to be variable in position in such a way that, upon encountering an obstruction, it executes an evasive movement to take it out of an operating position. In the process, at least one restoring spring exerts resistance in opposition to the evasive movement and returns the plowshare segment to the operating position after the obstruction has been passed. Furthermore, a braking device with electrically adjustable brake characteristic acting parallel to the restoring spring at least over part of the evasive movement and a transducer acting on the braking device via an electrical interface are provided.
Pivot offsetting implement assembly attachment system for a vehicle
An attachment system for attaching an implement mounting assembly to a vehicle, the attachment system including a vehicle attachment component that is fastenable to a front portion of the frame of the vehicle, and a frame attachment component that is removably attachable to the vehicle attachment component on one end via a securing axis, and pivotably attachable to the implement assembly on another end about a pivoting axis. When fastened to the vehicle, the vehicle attachment component is located upward from the underside of the frame. When the frame attachment component is attached to the vehicle attachment component, the securing axis is located upward from the underside portion of the frame, and the pivoting axis is located downward therefrom.
Snow plow having a pneumatic lifting device for reducing the wear on the blade of the snow plow
A snow plow lifting device is operatively connected to a snow plow for selectively imparting a lifting force on the snow plow. This lifting force reduces the effective weight of the snow plow bearing on an underlying surface such as a roadway. Thus, during a snow plowing operation, this reduces the wear on a lower edge of a blade that forms a part of the snow plow.
Snow clearing device
A snow-plough blade group for absorbing lateral impacts comprising: a first and a second snow-removing blade; a first support bearing the blades; the second blade being mobile with respect to the first support between a first position, in which the blades identify a first snow-removing surface, and a second position in which the blades identify a second snow-removing surface larger than the first one; a second support hinged to the first support; a first hydraulic cylinder connected between the first and second support for orientating the first support with respect to the second support; a discharge of liquid in overpressure; bypass valve means connecting the first hydraulic cylinder with the discharge, which bypass valve means are configured such that when the pressure in the first hydraulic cylinder exceeds a threshold value, the bypass valve means place the first hydraulic cylinder in liquid communication with the discharge; characterized in that a sensor detects a position assumed by the second blade; and the bypass valve means vary the threshold value according to the sensor reading.
