PLOW ASSEMBLY
A snow plow having a wing that is rotatably coupled to a side of a primary plow, and configured to rotate about a first axis substantially parallel to the side of the primary plow. A portion of the wing is operable to rotate about a second axis that is non-parallel to the first axis, where the portion is operable to rotate upward about the second axis relative to the ground in response to the wing encountering an obstruction. A snow plow having a receiver coupled to a surface of the primary plow and an actuator coupled to the receiver. The receiver allows the snow plow to move proximally and distally with respect to a vehicle.
LASER LIGHT SAFETY GUIDE
The laser light safety guide to assist in guiding a prime mover utilize for snowplowing including a laser that can be mounted within a cab of the prime mover and oriented to emit a visible laser beam directed through a transparent structure the prime mover. The laser light safety guide further comprises a shielding structure opaque to the visible laser beam that is trimmable or adjustable to enclose a space extending from a portion of the laser from which the visible laser beam is emitted to the transparent structure the prime mover. The shielding structure mitigates or contains reflection of the visible laser beam from an interior surface of the transparent structure.
CONTAINMENT PLOW
A containment plow adapted to be mounted to a vehicle such as a skid steer, a wheeled loader, or a tractor, comprises a moldboard frame, a moldboard mounted to the moldboard frame, a moldboard cutting edge mounted to a lower edge of the moldboard and comprising a plurality of cutting edge segments, each moldboard cutting edge segment mounted so as to have two rotational degrees of freedom movement relative to the moldboard and one translational degree of freedom movement relative to the moldboard, and a moldboard extension and wing assembly connected to the moldboard frame adjacent each end of the moldboard. The assembly comprises an extension frame, a moldboard extension mounted to the extension frame, a wing connected to the extension frame at an outboard end of the moldboard extension, the moldboard extension having one of the cutting edge segments mounted to a lower edge of the moldboard extension, the moldboard extension cutting edge segment mounted so as to have two rotational degrees of freedom movement relative to the moldboard extension and one translational degree of freedom movement relative to the moldboard extension.
WING PLOW APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A snow plow apparatus including at least one pivotable plow wing that is capable of removing snow or debris adjacent to a vehicle. The pivotable plow wing is operable to deploy from a stowed configuration behind the vehicle to a deployed configuration where the plow wing substantially extends beyond a side of the vehicle and is in contact with a surface to be plowed to remove snow adjacent to the footprint of the vehicle. Once deployed, the pivotable wing is configurable to direct snow or debris away from or toward the vehicle by adjusting the angle of the plow wing relative to the direction of travel of the vehicle. The snow plow apparatus includes powered actuators and an electronic control unit that coordinate to operate the snow plow apparatus without the need for an operator to manually deploy, stow, or position the snow plow apparatus.
System and method for debris removal
A system and method for removing debris from solar modules in a solar module array. The system includes an air supply for providing pressurized air to a debris removal wing, a support art configured to support the debris removal wing proximate a solar module, and a support base fixing the support arm to a vehicle, the vehicle operable to advance the debris removal wing along the solar module array. The debris removal wing includes a first air outlet for directed pressurized air to remove debris from the solar modules. The debris removal wing may include a second air outlet for directing pressurized air to at least partly hovering the debris removal wing proximate the solar modules.
SCRAPER BLADE DEVICE WITH JUXTAPOSED BLADE SEGMENTS HAVING A SWIVEL INTERCONNECTION BETWEEN MATING EDGES
The scraper blade device is provided for cleaning a roadway surface. The scraper blade device includes an upper blade portion and a bottom blade portion. The bottom blade portion has a plurality of widthwise-disposed and juxtaposed blade segments. The blade segments are provided in one or more blade segment sets where the blade segments within a same set are attached using a swivel interconnection. This scraper blade device has an improved cleaning efficiency over existing designs, thereby reducing the amounts of de-icing chemicals and increasing road safety when used for removing ice and snow from the roadway surface.
FLEXIBLE WING APPARATUS AND METHOD
Disclosed is a wing apparatus for snow removal to remove snow and ice debris from an ice rink area delimited by boards without damaging the boards. The wing apparatus includes a first end configured for attaching the wing to the snow removal machine; a second end having at least one bearing roller for rolling on the boards; and a portion there between for receiving and directing the snow and ice debris towards the snow removal machine. Several mechanisms are disclosed to adapt the wing to be flexible to different operating ranges from the boards without damaging the boards.
This scraper blade device has an improved cleaning efficiency over existing designs, thereby reducing the amount of de-icing chemicals and increasing road safety when used for removing ice and snow from the roadway surface.
Wing plow apparatus
A wing plow assembly may include a base configured for attachment to a vehicle; an upper arm rotatable about a first axis; a lower arm rotatable about a second axis; a lifting member rotatable about a third axis; a support pivotally attached to the upper arm and the lower arm; and an actuator pivotally attached to the base and the lifting member; wherein the actuator is configured for raising and lowering the support by engagement of the lifting member with the upper arm; wherein the lifting member is rotationally decoupled from the upper arm such that the upper arm is disengageable from the lifting member. At least one of the first axis and the second axis may be configured to be substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
PLOWING SYSTEM, VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SUCH SYSTEM, KIT FOR ASSEMBLING THE SAME, AND CORRESPONDING METHODS OF MANUFACTURING, ASSEMBLING AND OPERATING ASSOCIATED THERETO
A plowing system is removably mountable onto a vehicle in order to provide the vehicle with lateral plowing capability along a given lateral range of the vehicle. The plowing system includes a mounting assembly, a plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component. The plowing system also has associated first and second actuating assemblies cooperable with one another so as to selectively operate the plowing component between retracted and deployed configurations, and so as to provide the plowing system and associated plowing assembly and corresponding plowing component with an increased plowing resistivity within the lateral range of the vehicle, due to a combined effect of the first and second actuating assemblies. A corresponding vehicle is provided with such a plowing system.
