20240092436 · 2024-03-21 ·

The disclosure relates to a work machine, in particular a duty-cycle crawler crane, having an undercarriage which comprises a middle part and at least one crawler carrier connected to the middle part and having at least one electric traction drive, wherein at least one energy transmission line for supplying power to the traction drive and at least one further supply line runs between the traction drive and the middle part. According to the disclosure, the at least one energy supply line and the at least one further supply line run together in a separate protection means outside the middle part and the crawler carrier.

HITCH ASSEMBLY FOR BUCKET
20240068198 · 2024-02-29 · ·

A hitch assembly for a bucket of a work machine includes a bracket adapted to be removably coupled with the bucket at any one of a plurality of hitch locations. The bracket defines a first bracket end and a second bracket end. The bracket is adapted to be coupled with a drag chain proximal to the first bracket end. The hitch assembly also includes one or more first mechanical fasteners adapted to removably couple the bracket with the bucket. The hitch assembly further includes a second mechanical fastener adapted to be coupled with each of the bucket and the bracket proximal to the second bracket end. Based on a removal of the one or more first mechanical fasteners from the bucket and the bracket, the bracket and the second mechanical fastener rotate relative to the bucket for disposing the bracket at any one of the plurality of hitch locations.

A novel cable construction provided an armored covering over a cable containing high-strength synthetic filaments. The synthetic cable is provided with a strong and tough termination where it attaches to heavy machinery, such as mining machinery. An external armoring is then provided for a desired portion of the cable (up to the entire length of the cable). A collar is preferably provided to seal the end of the armoring portion to a cable jacket (where a cable jacket is present).
