A work vehicle includes an engine, a drive wheel, a power transmission mechanism configured to transmit a driving power of the engine to the drive wheel, and a control unit configured to control the power transmission mechanism. The power transmission mechanism has a torque converter including a first clutch, and a second clutch coupled to the torque converter. The control unit controls an oil pressure supplied to the first clutch to a predetermined oil pressure when the second clutch is partially engaged.

A method and control system operable to control movement of a work implement of a work vehicle. The control system includes a reservoir that retains fluid, a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir, and an actuator in fluid communication with the pump. The actuator has a first side and a second side. A control valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the actuator, a first proportional relief valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the first side of the actuator, and a second proportional relief valve is fluidly positioned between the pump and the second side of the actuator. The first proportional relief valve is configured to permit flow of fluid from the first side of the actuator to the reservoir when a pressure at the first side of the actuator exceeds a pressure set point.
Determining object detection area based on articulation angle
A controller may determine, using a first sensor device of the machine, an articulation angle of the machine. The controller may adjust, based on the articulation angle, a size of an object detection area to obtain an adjusted object detection area. The object detection area may be associated with an articulation joint of the machine.

The secondary control device may determine, using a second functionality processing technique, based on the main control information, the monitoring information, or the secondary control information, that a critical error associated with the implement has occurred. The secondary control device may determine a circumstance associated with the critical error. The secondary control device may select, based on determining the circumstance, a control technique and may control the implement using the control technique.

A work machine includes a frame; an engine supported by the frame; a plurality of ground engaging devices supporting the frame and driven by the engine; an operator cabin supported by the frame; a plurality of sensors and input devices configured to provide a plurality of signals; and a control module. The control module is configured to receive the plurality of signals from the plurality of sensors and input devices, determine if any of the plurality of signals is a positive signal, where a positive signal indicates that an operator is present in the machine, indicate an ‘operator present’ status if at least one of the plurality of signals remains positive for a debounce time, and indicate a ‘no operator present’ status if none of the plurality of signals remains positive for a threshold time.

A work equipment for a motor grader comprising: a drawbar including: a drawbar plate and an outer peripheral-side rib that is integrally fixed to the drawbar plate so as to protrude from a lower surface of the drawbar plate; and a circle including a circle plate that protrudes outside of the outer peripheral-side rib in the radial direction and forms a lower-side gap between a lower end of the outer peripheral-side rib and the circle plate; and an outer peripheral-side wall portion that is connected to the outer peripheral side of the circle plate, has a cylindrical shape surrounding the outer peripheral-side rib from an outer peripheral side of the outer peripheral-side rib, and forms a clearance between the lower surface of the drawbar plate and the outer peripheral-side wall portion.

Methods and apparatus to track a blade are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes a blade that is pivotable, first and second optical targets operatively coupled to the blade, and a first camera for collecting first imaging data of the first optical target within a first field of view. The example apparatus also includes a second camera for collecting second imaging data of the second optical target within a second field of view. The example apparatus also includes a selector to select at least one of the first or second imaging data, and a processor to determine an orientation of the blade based on the selected imaging data.

A motor grader having an articulated frame that includes a first front frame portion and a second rear frame portion that is angularly moving with respect to the first frame portion around a pivoting axis. A front steering system includes front wheels that are movable around a steering axis with respect to the articulated frame and around leaning axis transversal to the steering axis so that the front wheels may turn and lean during steering operation. A control unit receives as an input a control signal representing a steering angle and outputs steering actuation commands for an hydraulic actuating system of the front steering system and for a hydraulic actuating system of the articulated frame realizing synchronized and proportional angular movements of the front wheels around the steering and leaning axes and of the first and second portions of the frame around the pivoting axis.
